We rested at this hotel from 08/26/26/2024. mixed feelings from the rest. One of the advantages. Good reception area, clean, comfortable armchairs, sofas, fresh flowers. Good alcohol and cocktails. Delicious juices and soft drinks. There is a bar for adults only. Which I also liked. I also liked the hookah bar on the beach. It's very cozy and cute. There is also an adult day zone on the beach, and in this area the sun beds are much better than in the area with children. In general, the beach is large, the entrance to the sea is shallow, but there are several corals right on the beach within the buoys. You can see all kinds of fish. There are a lot of sun beds, there is always enough for everyone at any time. But most of them are sooooo tired, some are broken. There is a beach bar and a restaurant. They serve well everywhere, but everywhere the problem is a little tired furniture and overall repairs. We visited a Mongolian restaurant once, it was very atmospheric and delicious. The food in the hotel itself is delicious, but not too varied. The theme of the dinner is repeated every three days. There were three fishing days in 10 days, etc. Breakfasts are not very good, although in principle there is everything that you eat normally. Lots of sweet pastries. In general, their pastries are amazing. Lunch is also not very good, but there are also enough side dishes, meat, fish, but dinner - there is a place to accelerate. They always roast something on the grill, cook in the hall, and plus a bunch of ready-made food. One of the disadvantages is that there is no bar in the main restaurant itself, if you want to have a glass at dinner, you need to catch the waiter, and he may not return very soon with the order. In general, the disadvantage everywhere is outdated furniture, although it is comfortable and not freshly renovated. Animation, by the way, was also repeated every four days - a foam party, live jazz music, dancing, live trio music. But in general, it is normal. The biggest disadvantage for me is the number 3044 that we were given. Again, everything is the same - the furniture is old, but comfortable, the repair is tired, there is no balcony. It also drained through the crack so that it was impossible to sleep without birusha. The refrigerator did not work, many light bulbs did not work. The tropical shower worked every other time. The bedding is sooo washed, the duvet cover especially. It was not very pleasant to sleep under it. None of the toiletries were brought even once, although others, after scandals, brought the whole set and a bathrobe and slippers. I even had to beg for toilet paper a couple of times. And this despite the fact that the dollar was quietly taken away, but cleanliness and comfort were not added at all. At most, the bed will be harnessed. Although in Turkey it usually solved a lot...But not here. There is a TV in the room, a new one, several Russian channels, but there is nothing to watch... A kettle, tea, coffee and two bottles of water. The safe is free and good. In general, the room was upset. The pool is probably not bad, but we didn't swim there. There is a bar right in the pool - this is a plus. Another huge plus is the water park. But even here there are disadvantages- the slides are all in the raid, and most likely because of this you need to roll down on fitness mats, because of this there is no such pleasure as just rolling down the slide. But the slides on the buns are top. In general, the water park consists of three zones - for toddlers, children, and adults. There is a separate swimming pool, bar and cafe. Overall, it's good. As a result, in general, we had a good rest, but there was also a sediment. I'm not sure I'd like to go back there. But perhaps if we had changed the room, as many did, the impressions would have been different

Nice hotel located 50 km from Hurghada airport in Soma Bay.

Rooms: the rooms are not spacious, but comfortable and cozy. Everything is in working order everywhere. Yes, the furniture is not new, but this does not affect the rest, since the room was used only for sleeping. The room has a large bed and 2 sofas, which can be unfolded upon request, additional mattresses can be brought.
Restaurants and meals: there are 3 main restaurants on site: the main one in the hotel building, a beach restaurant (in the evening ala-carte Italian restaurant) and a grill bar on the territory of the water park. Also in the evening, using the ala-card system, you can visit 4 restaurants for free 1 time per stay (Chinese, Mongolian, Lebanese and Italian cuisine) and a Japanese restaurant only for money. The main restaurant has a wider range of dishes (soups of 2 types to choose from), pasta, spaghetti, French fries, rice, fried, boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes, all possible legumes, grilled vegetables, vegetable stews, steamed vegetables, etc. Meat is always chicken, turkey, beef, fish, squid, seafood, etc. There is always a variety of cheeses, sausages and sausages, a variety of salads and fresh vegetables, sauces and fruits (watermelons, melons, grapefruit, oranges, apples, pears, dates, figs, grapes, etc. meat is grilled outside every day. Water park: there are enough slides, there are 3 parts from the smallest, up to 12 years old and the main one from 10 years old
Animation: well, here I'll say this for a 5-point scale of 3+, there is none at all on the beach, all the animation is in the pool near the bar, there is aerobics, some kind of children's entertainment, etc. In the evening, it's a mini disco for children, a foam or music party for adults

The hotel itself, like the whole of Egypt, has both pros and cons. The advantages are undoubtedly a huge territory, a large water park.
The downside, despite the varied diet, for me, as a person without a gallbladder, was too fatty a diet. There are a lot of sauces, deep-frying and I had to look for the most suitable one out of 100 dishes. The children and the husband were happy.
The second minus in 10 years was the hotel, and there were questions about cleaning not in the rooms.
There were plenty of sun beds on the beach. Many were sitting by the pools, where there was a bar, and ice cream was also served there.
The entry into the sea was gentle, without corals, long and, perhaps, ideal for children. The hotel also has its own pier, which is quite long, and turtles used to swim to it in the mornings.
We took excursions from our tour operator. We went to Luxor with great interest, but everything that happened after Luxor (shop, tombs, banana island) was superfluous for me. The Luxor was not enough.
But we were satisfied with snorkeling. Those who wanted to dive for an additional fee could, but we did not want to.
Overall, we were satisfied for March. We were able to relax and get a tan. The picture was changed.

A very cool hotel! The food is wonderful, the room is clean and cozy, we lived on the 3rd floor, there was not a single mosquito, room cleaning is regular, the hotel grounds and pools are super, readable ala-maps allowed us to visit 4 restaurants in the hotel for free. You can get ice cream by the pool, drinks at the beach bar.
4. Location. It is not close to Hurghada, it takes about 20 minutes to get by taxi, the taxi was ordered through the application. I recommend Sensamol in Hurghada and frozen Mochi in it! The location entails additional expenses for excursions, there may be an early departure.
5. The sea and the beach. The beach is spacious, there are sun loungers and towels. It is divided into 2 parts, with and without children. The sea off the coast is shallow for quite a long time, it's fine with children, an adult is an amateur. You need to go to a place where you can swim. Pier, at 6 a.m. turtles wake up and eat, if you make a lot of noise, you can watch them from the pier.

I don't know who had enough sun beds there: you can't find anything by the pool after 10 a.m., on the beach either, especially in the adult area, but you could find something in the common area. I didn't like that towels lie for hours without owners - no one controls it. The food is delicious for us, without lobsters and sushi😂 as many people expect here, but there was always enough))) I liked the lobby bar, especially that you can't go there with children, but as for me, there was not enough bar on the territory in the evening, because it turns out that alcohol is only there) how inconvenient for me. When I was going to visit this hotel, I initially read a lot of reviews, there were those where people wrote that they were first settled in unmade rooms. I didn't want to believe it, especially since it's dangerous for me, as an asthmatic, to be in a dirty room. And what was my surprise that we were moved into a room with a broken light, a broken balcony door, a broken front door, a huge amount of dust and just a disgusting skein of someone's hair in the bathroom. We asked for help at the reception, where we changed the room. Yes, the room was nice and clean. Among the shortcomings are the balcony door with screws, which the husband repaired himself, as well as a broken shower, which the husband also repaired himself, having come up with the idea to build gaskets in the shower head from plastic bottles.... thank you, of course, it was possible to live in the room, this is not the first option at all, but the sediment remained.... Moreover, I communicated with people from Omsk, they had the same problem with the first room where they were accommodated.... Perhaps this is a biased attitude towards Russians, I don't know. That's where the advantages end. There are not enough sun loungers on the beach for everyone, despite the fact that we rested out of season. Some of the deck chairs are broken. The sea is shallow, besides frequent tides. The tide is high in the afternoon, but the water after high tide is cloudy and there is no desire to swim in it.
The carpet in the hotel lobby is dirty, as well as in the conference rooms and the bar.
Rooms: upon arrival, we were accommodated in a disgusting dirty room. As if it hadn't been cleaned since the opening. Dirty curtains, armchairs, carpet, even a toilet brush. There are no garbage bags in the bins anywhere. Not in the toilet, there's just a bucket with a pedal. Not in the room itself, just a bucket too. The plumbing is all in a raid, specifically tired. The cherry on the cake was in the shower, where a heavy glass door fell on us. The staff couldn't fix anything, but just put it right in the shower. The arrangement of beds is also a separate art form. Three adults were stacked side by side. Only two bottles of bottled water are provided, no one cares that there are 3 people in your room. You can pour it into an empty bottle only in a restaurant, during its opening hours, or already go and pour it on the beach, through a cooler. Only two days later, with a scandal, we were moved to another room, to the building after renovation. Cleaning the room for three, if you leave a dollar or two, they will wind up swans for you. The bed linen in the rooms is in spools.
Animation in the evenings: a girl sings without hearing or voice. She also sang songs in different languages, in broken Russian. It's impossible to listen to this sober, if you roll it, it will do. There is animation for children. We went to a fire show once. There are no discos at all. Quiet retirement vacation.
The food in the restaurant is monotonous, thank God there were no poisonings. Delicious coffee and pastries. If you want freshly squeezed orange juice, please pay $2 for it.
The restaurant is well cleaned. The tables on the veranda were cleaned very badly, you can sit down at the table and get dirty with ketchup, which no one even tried to wipe.
The bar is free only until 23h after drinks are paid. Ice cream is distributed free of charge near the pool from 15 to 17h. If you want to eat ice cream in the evening, it's already for a dime, on the veranda next to the bar and the stage.
I strongly do not recommend the hotel. Very poor cleaning, lazy staff.
Choose another hotel and don't spoil your vacation.

We had a family vacation in the middle of March. The hotel is 5 by Egyptian standards. Yes, not the first freshness, but everything is quite decent. The food is not super. This is not Turkey) but you will definitely not stay hungry.
We were lucky with the weather, most of the 8 days were windless. A large, well-groomed, green area where it is pleasant to walk. It's a good water park, but in March it's still a little cool for me personally. The husband and son felt fine.
Ice cream, 4 a la carte restaurants (with the same set of products), non-intrusive animation, well-groomed beach, friendly staff constantly waiting for a dollar from you, in general everything is fine. Alcohol is local, my husband drank tequila, it seems to be normal.
It should be taken into account when choosing a hotel that it is located far from Hurghada and you will need to take a taxi if you want to visit the city (about 30-400 pounds).
Of the excursions, we recommend a bathyscaphe from Tour fo fan (an excellent and honest local travel agency, helped with the exchange of money). A city tour with shopping from Anex. They take you to normal shops and pharmacies with normal prices. Olga, the Russian guide, tells us interestingly.
Be sure to visit Luxor, it is as convenient as possible from this hotel. We went in a mini group for 8 people and gave $ 150 for three.

It was windy for a couple of days, the sea was cool in the morning, but it warmed up in the afternoon. After haggling with the hotel guide, we agreed on discounts on excursions. Sightseeing with Mila and a boat trip with Ahmed. It was great! The main thing on vacation is a good mood!!! I recommend the hotel!

We had a rest in the period from 16.03 to 26.03, we liked everything. Service for 5, room cleaning every day, we did not go hungry, visited 4 a la carte restaurants, large portions, fast service, do not expect an Italian restaurant from Egypt. I recommend it very tasty in Mongolian and Lebanese. Not all rooms are renovated, but we came to the sea, so I calmly treated the old furniture, 1.5 liters of water every day. There is a water park across the street, we visited it once, the water is cold for us, I think it will be super cool there in the season. I recommend it, I think you can come again. The disadvantage is that in the evening you can walk only on the territory of the hotel or along the seashore, but you can order a taxi and go to Hurghada. I am writing a review for the first time, so do not judge strictly. We rested at the MOVENPICK WATERPARK RESORT from 30.09.24 to 06.10.24
First, I will tell you about the hotel in general, and then about its pros and cons.
Movenpick Hotel is located not far from Safaga (Hurghada). There is nothing behind the hotel except the highway and the desert. The hotel is of medium size, 3 swimming pools, 2 for children and one for adults with a bar. There is also a good water park on the territory, where both children and adults can have fun. The territory is pretty, green (for us it was important when choosing a hotel), everything is beautiful, well-groomed, the grass and trees are watered every morning, and in general the territory of the hotel is monitored at an excellent level. The beach is big, there are a lot of sun loungers, there was never a time that we did not find a place. Corals can be said that there are no corals, if you swim behind the buoys they start whistling until you come back, but there are not bad corals to the right of the hotel on a wild beach, move 50 meters away from the last guard post, and go into the sea 100-150 meters away, a group of corals begin there, they even saw a stingray 2 times. There is a bar on the beach, a restaurant with "grilled" food (everything is included in the all-inclusive system) as well as showers and drinking water. The sea is excellent, clean, you need to walk 40-70 meters to get chest-deep, but this problem is on all the beaches of Hurghada. This is especially noticeable at low tide. The food at the hotel is quite tasty, every time there was something delicious for dinner, which is enough to eat. But there are no super author's dishes, although the last dinner on the grill they made shrimp, very very tasty, despite the fact that we are quite spoiled with food in Moscow. Lunch also takes place in a shared restaurant, as well as on the beach and in the water park (we recommend that you definitely go there for lunch at the water park). Locally produced alcohol, brands for an additional fee. But alcohol surprised, despite the skeptical attitude, the cocktails are delicious colorful, you can also ask the bartenders to mix anything and they will do it for you, beer as a conditional Zhiguli beer from KB (better than in Turkish hotels) you can drink, but not particularly strong. We haven't tried the wine. You drink 2-3 cocktails and feel the rush, despite the fact that we have not yet forgotten the student hangouts (we are 25 years old)
Rooms: the room is just great, all the furniture is intact, the cleaning is super, the furniture is not tired (in general, we have read reviews that the hotel is tired) but we did not meet anything like this, the room was cleaned perfectly and they made beautiful swans, elephants, dogs for baksheesh. Animation: also at an excellent level, the animators did not let you get bored, but they were also not intrusive, they were always friendly, helped explain and arranged good evening shows for children and adults. I would like to thank animator Monica separately, she was always very kind to us, helped us, told us about everything and in general she is a very cool animator!!!
Kite and Wind surfing: for us it was also important when choosing a hotel, there is a kite station on the territory of the hotel, the kite station is managed by Ahmad, cool cheerful Ryder and I became friends with him. I would also like to praise his assistant Abdo, a great friend and professional in his field. The guys always rushed to help and always did everything to make you feel comfortable riding. There is no surf station on the territory of the hotel, there is one in the neighboring one in Caribian. But the "miracle" guards are not allowed there, and this is utter nonsense, it takes 50 minutes to walk to it, the guards are rude and say insults in Arabic, despite the fact that initially there was no aggression on our part. BUT please note that these guards are on the territory of the Caribian Hotel. The guards at MOVENPICK are good and always help when possible. And in general, the staff at the hotel is very friendly, they always greet and sincerely smile and help if necessary.
The main advantages:
- Green clean area
- Excellent staff
- Fresh well-cleaned rooms (we had 3140)
- Food (the assortment is not large, but there is always something delicious) if you like sweets, then there is a lot of space for you
- Good bartenders don't make bad cocktails even from local alcohol
- The beach (apart from the fact that you can't go to the fucking surf station!!!)
- The hotel itself is very nice (we have been to 5 and 4 stars many times and we have something to compare
- Kite station
The main disadvantages:
- SECURITY GUARDS ON THE TERRITORY OF OTHER HOTELS!!!
- No surfing station
- They whistle all the time when you swim behind the buoys (but these are the rules)
- There was a lack of entertainment such as mini golf, billiards, etc.
- Lack of reefs, corals

I bet an honest 5. Although not everything was smooth and there were shoals, but still the rest in this hotel will be good. I recommend rooms on the ground floor, with a view not of the pool, you can perfectly drink tea in the morning on a kind of veranda, under the warm sun and admire the local herons. There is only one heated pool and it is for children, you can swim. A green area, and this is a big plus, the territory is constantly being cared for, watered and weeds are removed. Sand, no corrals, but shallow, in order to reach the depth you need to walk decently. Food, there is a variety of food, yes, of course it repeats itself, but it cannot be said that it is the same every day. The rooms require renovation, of course, but everything in them is good and quite cozy, and they were not always cleaned every day, but every other day there was cleaning, and if you asked, they would be cleaned every day. There was always more water left. The animation is unobtrusive, for a stable, relaxing holiday that's what you need. There is a hookah bar. The staff knows Russian. Yes, the Internet is very good, it works even on the beach (right by the sea is not very good, but it works)

We rested here from 02/12/2024 to 02/19/2024. The hotel is nice, I liked the room, on the 4th floor with a sea view. The hotel is located 50 km from the city, 30 minutes by taxi, all excursions were not taken from the tour operator, but everywhere there was a surcharge for transfer to safari, diving, etc. Large well-groomed territory, smiling and positive staff, but sometimes annoying enough. The food is average, they took the same thing every day, but nothing. We are not picky, but this hotel is for families who DO NOT PLAN to travel to Hurghada. It is convenient to go to Luxor from here. They cleaned up, twisted a monkey and swans out of a towel for us. "Fine" is not the right word, "good, normal, acceptable" can be described in such words. We had a rest in April 2024.
1. Rooms and room service leave a terrible impression. Yes, the rooms are not new, but for two days we asked to bring us a cot for a 2-year-old child, then we separately asked for another bed for the bed and upon check-in we received not a 2-bed, but two beds of 1.5. Everything in the room is replenished for tips to the cleaner: bathrobes, slippers and gels. And for some reason, they need to be asked and reminded many times. We had friends with us, so there were three people settled in two beds and an old sofa.
2. Food. Normal, delicious in places, somewhere for an amateur, there is a variety, but without frills with seafood.
3. The sea. A good and very shallow entrance, you go to the depth for a very long time to swim, there are about 3 corals in the beach area, but they are small and there are few fish
4. The water park is good, there is a large selection of slides and various degrees of extreme, there are also children's paddling pools
5. Location. We knew where we were going, that it was far from the airport
6. Animation. There is also yoga and classes on the beach. As for the evening: good children's animation, good performances and fire shows, but there was only karaoke for one day and very little of the adult animation
Whether I want to return to this hotel: absolutely not. It seems that nothing works here at all without tips, but with tips it works at random. The most frustrating thing is that the minimum room service is at a low level

Well, it's very doubtful. I have never seen such a thing as saving money on water in a 5-star hotel. They put 2 small bottles of water in the room, and then a couple of coolers on the territory with paper cups and the inscription "Do not pour into bottles" The wine is diluted with water, in my opinion, 1:1. The hotel is located far from everything, there is a desert around, it takes 30 minutes to the nearest shopping, you won't get anywhere either, in Hurghada and back 55 dollars, (and 45 minutes there, 45 back) There are no waiters on the beach, no freshly squeezed juices…The food is not bad (of all the a la carte restaurants, the Mongolian was delicious, after the rest we went to eat at the main restaurant. The show was very cool, well, oriental (classic)), the rest is about nothing. In short, it's not really the place where you want to go back. (But the situation with water is unpleasant for everyone!)

TERRIBLE VACATION CONDITIONS OR HOW OUR VACATION WAS RUINED...

To begin with, I am the kind of person who has never left reviews anywhere. But this time, both my friends and I were badly burned, and there were 6 of us, let's leave honest reviews.
And that's how I got to this hotel.
My friends and I were choosing a hotel for a vacation, looking at photos and reviews, and here it's 5* and everything is positive, and the photos are beautiful.
But as we later found out during the rest in the evening, animators come up to you and ask for your phone, go to Google maps, etc. and leave positive feedback for you or persistently ask you to do it.
The beginning of the vacation:
Everything is as usual, arrival, transfer to the hotel, check-in at 04:30 and here is the first nuance.
The room should be with a KingSize bed (with a large bed), and it is assembled from 2 small beds pushed together.
At 04:30 in the morning, we are told that there are no others and come back tomorrow.
Tired, we nod and go to our room to sleep. They bring us to the room at 05:00, two rolls with puke cheese and an apple, but otherwise okay, thanks for your concern. We come the next morning, with a request to solve a nuance, and then they start feeding us breakfast: "come tomorrow, there are no available rooms, etc."
The issue was resolved after 3 days and they settled us in a room with a bunch of ants, and they were everywhere. No kidding, on the toilet, under the toilet seat, on the walls, near the bed, under the bed. And these little ants sting very unpleasantly.
There is no cleaning brush in the rooms), toothpaste, bathrobe and slippers. Although it is stated that all this should be.
They also asked 3 times, on the 3rd day, they brought toothpaste and slippers. We got tired of asking for the rest and scored.
They complained to the reception, shrugged their shoulders and let them go on a good journey, no one will solve anything and help here.
The food is just darkness...
Everything is of the same type, as not tasty as possible and constant stomach problems. It would be fine if only my wife or I had a vacation, but there were 6 of us.
And everyone had the same problems.
But it's worth noting, it was delicious at the restaurant on the beach at lunch. There they give pizza, roast a shish kebab of boneless chicken, French fries.
In general, at lunch, as we found out, only there.
Ala-kart, this is the same as in the dining room, only the next day)))
In the lobby bar, the manager is lazy. You ask him to pour a cup of coffee here, he pours it into a paper cup anyway)), and after you insist on coffee in a cup, he poured it from a paper cup into a cup and casually looked at me...
And there is also a bar in the pool, in which plastic dishes, so, they are not washed and drinks are poured there after use by other vacationers.
Oh, and it was a discovery for us, ordinary water in a bottle, without gas - paid and it costs $ 1))))
But you can drink communal water from a barrel)))
Even during the holidays, the guys from the American army were settled for 2 days, there were 50 of them, they made a mess there, drank, yelled and vomited into the pool, it was something...
The pools are dirty, for 10 days of rest, they were washed 2 times))
