A magnificent historical wealth located on the Batman Stream on the way to Silvan, with one foot in Batman and the other foot in Diyarbakir. It's still intact and looks like it's new. I wish no harm will be done and it will be carefully protected.
In short, it was built in 1147 during the Artuklu Principality period. It is a Seljuk heritage and is included in the UNESCO temporary heritage list.
As a record enthusiast, I first learned this bridge by listening to Selçuk Alagöz. The song was already telling the story of the bridge.
"Malabadi Bridge, Malabadi Bridge. It started there and ended with this strange story. He gave his heart to a girl from the opposite tribe. He used to go to that bridge every day for the sake of his love..."
It is at least as beautiful as its song and it is a pleasure to see.
