The hotel is 5 minutes from old Baku. Location, mattress on the bed, excellent breakfasts-6 stars out of five. The guys at the reception speak excellent Russian and are ready to help with any issue. Wonderful Sevda will give you amazingly delicious food. Water was put in the room every day, there is a kettle, cups, tea bags.
And then about the cons: we had two rooms. One with windows facing the street-you can't dream of a normal sleep. Festivities, laughter, and the roar of cars until morning. The second room has a window to the courtyard, above the breakfast cafe. Doors have been slamming since 7 a.m. and the same loud conversations have been going on. The audibility in the hotel is like the walls are made of cardboard. There's black hair everywhere in the room and on the towels. Towels are in such a condition that they are only used for rags. Worn, with holes, fringed at the edges, with threads sticking out. The bed linen is also not in the best condition. It is impossible to take a shower properly-there is not really a partition between the toilet and the shower. You press against the wall, you step into a puddle. The faucets are horribly stained. The bathroom in our room periodically had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. There is either perfume or household chemicals in the room, it is very persistent and strong.
In general, if you are ready to turn a blind eye to everyday nuances, then the location and breakfasts are beyond praise.
If the quality of towels, the cleanliness of faucets, the ability to take a shower without squeezing in, and silence are important to you, then this is not your option.
A wonderful hotel in the very center, next to Fountain Square. Icheri Sheher is a 5-minute walk away.
Wonderful staff at the reception, they speak Russian. They try to help in all matters!
A very sincere female chef! She speaks several languages and prepares delicious and varied breakfasts. It was very interesting to listen to her stories over breakfast)
Room cleaning every day, towel change, water, tea...
If we come to Baku again, we will choose the same place!
We had a rest in Baku in September 2024 . The hotel is amazing. The soul of the hotel is Sevda (Seva). Very tasty breakfasts. Seva is a polyglot, speaks several languages well. She knows the culture of her people perfectly well , and you can listen to how she tells about the history of Baku .
The rooms are clean, timely cleaning. The staff at the reception is friendly. All we needed was a balcony where we could drink coffee, smoke and watch the idle life of the evening city.)
