A great historical place. Incredibly beautiful and atmospheric. There are a lot of tourists. It is necessary to visit here during the day and after sunset. The passage is only on foot or by taxi. There is a train, but it runs only to the terminal without stopping.
Antique Side is a living story, a powerful impression for a lifetime! Turkey is generally a unique country with gorgeous nature and an abundance of historical monuments, carefully lovingly preserved and provided to people!
I recommend walking the whole town to the port.
A good place, very beautiful and monumental. Especially in the dark with backlight. For all lovers of archaeology, Ancient Greece and just historical places, I highly recommend it.
It's a beautiful place. I have long wanted to go on an excursion to Side to see the temple of Apollo! The first stop is the ancient city. The fountain welcomes tourists - a walking tour begins with it. They are actively restoring it. The structure is impressive. Then, on foot, along the road with columns, you need to walk to the amphitheater, it is in very good condition, entrance to it is paid. Next is a small town with cozy houses with souvenirs and glass roads - under which you can see the remains of Greco-Roman roads and walls of buildings. Just a little more and you will be at the port, the only one that is still in operation. A plateau rises above the port - just the place with the ruins of the temple of Apollo - 5 columns with an overlap. The place is beautiful - a view of the endless sea! You can get beautiful photos! In general, when you come to Turkey, in addition to the sea, the sun, the famous hospitality and gastronomic abundance, you get Greece and Italy as a bonus (in the form of beautiful architectural monuments) - beauty!
Side is an old town, the shopping areas have been put in order - clean and convenient. Ancient Greek and Roman ruins, a 2-thousand-year-old amphitheater are recommended for visiting.
It's a great place. An ancient city. Various festivals and concerts are always held here (during the season). Different teams come from different countries of the world. I'll have a video about it on my channel.
It was interesting to see the ancient city, to walk along its streets. Impressive. Thank you for taking care of their history and preserving monuments for posterity.
If you are somewhere nearby, then by public transport, it is very profitable to go to see, but if you drive for several hours, then it is worth looking at only if you are a direct mega fan of all sorts of antique and other ruins. In general, there are many ruins and they have been preserved very well. I didn't go inside, looked through the doors and so on, I didn't see anything very interesting and they didn't buy tickets
A beautiful fountain. The age is striking.Unfortunately, the truth is no longer working. And everything around him was fenced off.Because they are conducting excavations. So be sure to visit if you're around!
The Turks are actively restoring the Ancient Side. The fountain is at the entrance to the ancient city and it is being restored before our eyes! A wonderful place, it is better to visit on your own, having previously read the history of this city on the Internet, they drive you with a tour and do not convey historical information.

On the map, this place is marked as the temple of Apollo. Side itself is a very beautiful and quiet town, and this place stands out for its beauty and pomp. It is located right next to the port. It's strange that access there is free for now
In Turkey, wherever you look, there are historical places everywhere. There are a lot of ruins of ancient buildings, both monumental and ordinary residential and commercial premises. In recent years, these destroyed buildings have been restored, which cannot but please the tourist. Of course, everyone is interested in looking at history with their own eyes, even if for money. The cost of visiting various complexes is different, but quite acceptable. You can walk along the ancient streets for free, for now. Toilets are paid. Visiting the old town will give you pleasure with beautiful and interesting views and cool photos.
An unrealistically cool historical place, a must-visit!👍🏻
The location itself is very beautiful and large, you can safely forget about time for a couple of hours🫶🏻
Unfortunately, everything is still under restoration. And the influence of people is obvious. Therefore, it does not smell very old. That's why I wasn't interested. Although I read that it was almost a miracle of the world at that time…
I visited the ruins of an ancient city. I really liked it. So many stones and columns have been preserved, as if they fell into those times. Very impressed.
It's a very interesting and beautiful place. I advise everyone who is interested in the ancient world to visit.

The buildings of antiquity impress with their beauty and scope! Everything is beautiful in Side, a street with columns and a fountain, and an amphitheater, all temples, sculptures of rulers!
It 's very beautiful and interesting here. It is breathtaking that all this happened before our era .
It is also suitable for cat lovers, there are a lot of them here
It's nice to visit historical sites on vacation. To get in touch with world history. We were with a guide, so the impression was complete. Touch the ancient walls and walk along the ancient streets. Recommend.
Now the reconstruction of this fountain is underway, it is fenced, just photographed. It is very beautiful and now, if they bring it to its logical end, it will be even better.
A great place for walking is old Side. There are many interesting places for photos, if you go to the end of the way you go to the sea, colorful photos are obtained. We drove ourselves by minibus, which collects tourists from hotels, the price is $ 1 or 17 lira per person.
An interesting historical place. As I understood it, there were niches for fountains along this wall, the water from which flowed into a small pool.
There is a sign nearby in several languages (there is no Russian), which explains what kind of city it was and what it served for. It was called the Nympheum.
A wonderful place for those who like to wander through the ancient ruins, which are more than 2300 years old. During the day, everything is flooded with the sun, at night the backlight turns on. A great place to meet the sunrise!
It's a very gorgeous place. Every corner is saturated with that time. When you go inside, you just freeze for a second and fully realize it. Look beautiful, well done for saving it. I advise you to take a look and definitely take a walk.
I recommend renting a car and coming here on your own. You will save a lot + get new emotions)) the entrance to the amphitheater is 1000 rubles per person. It's worth a look. The only thing is to walk from the parking lot to the attraction for 10-15 minutes, you can steam up under the sun. But there is a local train running there)
I definitely advise you to visit. There are many views of the beautiful beach, majestic ruins steeped in history. It is better to go in the morning, as everything works until 5
