I advise everyone to visit. Better in the morning. We took a taxi to the monastery. The temple is newly made, rich in mosaics. Well-maintained territory, stunning views of Batumi, the sea, the mountains. We went down on foot. It was here that the most beautiful views opened from the observation decks. It's a long walk to the city itself, we were lucky that they gave us a ride halfway.

Another magnificent observation deck, as well as a temple and a monastery, although there is no passage to the monastery for tourists, but the beauty here is magnificent, nature, landscaping, and below, at the entrance to the monastery, there is a cafe with very beautiful mountain views.

The monastery itself is beautiful, located high in the mountains, where even cellular communication does not work. But it did not work out to fully connect with the divine, as God's intermediaries are very distracting to themselves, who take the liberty to make remarks to people in a place where they could just keep quiet and not distract people. My opinion, of course.

A significant place! We went there on our own by minibus! But then 2.6 km uphill, They were very heavy. Upon reaching the place, we were greeted by indescribable views of Batumi and the suburbs. The monastery is met by servants who dress up in robes that hide the unnecessary appearance of the parishioner. The monastery itself is very beautiful both inside and out. The interior is completely made of mosaics, well, very beautiful. After walking in and around the monastery, we could go back to the bus stop, but it's more fun since it's on the descent!

The place is saturated with an atmosphere of peace . We got there by car , the navigator apparently took us the hardest way : a narrow one - lane with steep turns .. but we, more precisely, the husband coped :))

Peace, quiet and tranquility! The nuns speak Russian without an accent (they doubted that we were in Georgia). There are stunning views of the city of Batumi and the surrounding area. We got to the monastery by taxi, the taxi driver kindly agreed to wait for us and take us back. I recommend you to visit!

Very nice and beautiful view. They work until 18.00, sort of. We came 5 minutes before closing, not knowing, but no one kicked us out. We stayed there for 30 minutes. If you are thinking of going on a picnic there to see Batumi, then forget it. You can't do anything like that there. But on the gonio cross, you can admire the view and have a small picnic. Here you can only enjoy the beauty of the church and the view

Very beautiful views! Quiet, the birds are singing... And the air!!!!! I definitely recommend you to visit. If the taxi is not waiting for you back, you can go down a little bit, there is a bus to Batumi. It costs 70 tetris. The views are much better than from the cable car!
