I advise everyone to visit. Better in the morning. We took a taxi to the monastery. The temple is newly made, rich in mosaics. Well-maintained territory, stunning views of Batumi, the sea, the mountains. We went down on foot. It was here that the most beautiful views opened from the observation decks. It's a long walk to the city itself, we were lucky that they gave us a ride halfway.
Another magnificent observation deck, as well as a temple and a monastery, although there is no passage to the monastery for tourists, but the beauty here is magnificent, nature, landscaping, and below, at the entrance to the monastery, there is a cafe with very beautiful mountain views.
It's an amazing place of power! I want to return to the territory! There is peace and tranquility! Plus, it is an amazing observation deck for the whole of Batumi, especially at sunset!
The monastery itself is beautiful, located high in the mountains, where even cellular communication does not work. But it did not work out to fully connect with the divine, as God's intermediaries are very distracting to themselves, who take the liberty to make remarks to people in a place where they could just keep quiet and not distract people. My opinion, of course.
A significant place! We went there on our own by minibus! But then 2.6 km uphill, They were very heavy. Upon reaching the place, we were greeted by indescribable views of Batumi and the suburbs. The monastery is met by servants who dress up in robes that hide the unnecessary appearance of the parishioner. The monastery itself is very beautiful both inside and out. The interior is completely made of mosaics, well, very beautiful. After walking in and around the monastery, we could go back to the bus stop, but it's more fun since it's on the descent!
The view is simply mesmerizing. I also advise everyone to visit the cafe, the latest one from the descent from the mountain, for this you need to walk a little there the view of the city is 100 times steeper and very good people will cook you an unforgettable delicious dinner with a wonderful view under a kiwi tree
It's a very atmospheric place. beautiful finishes inside and views outside. it closes quite early, you need to take into account when planning the time of the visit. must-visit
It's a beautiful place. A very beautiful panoramic view of the whole of Batumi. The funicular takes you to about the same height. Be sure to have covered legs, well, or they will give you a cape. I enjoyed the trip a lot on the last day.
I really liked it. Such beauty, a wonderful view of the city opens from a height. There is a very well-maintained area around the monastery. I really liked it, I advise you to visit it.
We went up on a rental Misubi, along a narrow and steep, dangerous and dizzying, picturesque serpentine road, and for good reason! From the site, in front of this old historical monastery, you can enjoy the most beautiful panorama of Batumi! You will see a lot more interesting things!
It's a great place. We were here with friends. This is our first attraction in Batumi. I really liked the views from here. On the way, we met tangerines in the snow.
A picturesque place. It's true that it takes a long time to climb, it's better by car. And so in general, a very beautiful place. Free observation deck with the best view.
It's a great place, you can see the whole of Batumi. And the temple is very beautiful. I recommend taking a taxi, and then you can walk down and go to the fish market.
Beautiful view. An interesting way to get to the monastery. Brave travelers will like it) There may be problems with the way back. I was saved by a good-natured minibus driver who gave me a free ride to the city.
The beauty is impossible, like all the mountains of Georgia. It is a pity that it is impossible to film the temple from the inside, there is an amazing mosaic. That's why we need to go there. And the view of the city from the mountain. 😍
One of the interesting places of Batumi, the best observation deck to see the city. We got there by taxi, and walked from there. I recommend you to visit.
The Church of the Holy Trinity. It is located on the very top of Saneb Mountain. A quiet and fertile place. From the top of the mountain there is a great view of Batumi and the sea.
The place is certainly historical, and if you want to thoughtfully mention Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov's Moscow Art Institute in the future, then you must visit it.
The place is saturated with an atmosphere of peace . We got there by car , the navigator apparently took us the hardest way : a narrow one - lane with steep turns .. but we, more precisely, the husband coped :))
Go back for the driver, the road was much more successful and two-lane
The monastery offers a wonderful view of the panorama of the city , so to speak, an alternative to the cable car.
Parking is 2 lari , a caretaker sits on top of the temple , gives girls and boys legs to cover , as well as hats - everything is free
A very pleasant place where you can relax your soul. On the way, a little before reaching the monastery, there is a mini cafe "Daria", very tasty, homely, pleasant view of the mountains, I strongly advise you to stop there after visiting the monastery. We will definitely come back next time)
A beautiful and peaceful place. Everything is well maintained and clean. Polite staff. There are shawls and skirts in front of the entrance for visitors. I recommend visiting in the morning, the photos are amazing.
A great quiet place. Before going there, you need to know that men are not allowed to go there in shorts, they give something like a skirt. The same applies to girls, a scarf and a skirt are given at the entrance.
Peace, quiet and tranquility! The nuns speak Russian without an accent (they doubted that we were in Georgia). There are stunning views of the city of Batumi and the surrounding area. We got to the monastery by taxi, the taxi driver kindly agreed to wait for us and take us back. I recommend you to visit!
Insanely beautiful views that more than one photo does not convey. It is better to go early, when it is not so hot and there are no crowds of tourists.
Very nice and beautiful view. They work until 18.00, sort of. We came 5 minutes before closing, not knowing, but no one kicked us out. We stayed there for 30 minutes. If you are thinking of going on a picnic there to see Batumi, then forget it. You can't do anything like that there. But on the gonio cross, you can admire the view and have a small picnic. Here you can only enjoy the beauty of the church and the view
It is a very beautiful place, calm and sincere. We arrived in the morning, there were not many people at all. The view is at a glance, it opens up to the whole of Batumi!
I advise you to walk the entire ascent to the monastery, a very beautiful view of the city opens from there. The view from the monastery is also very beautiful, but there are a lot of people there and it will be inconvenient to take photos, and there are almost no people on the road-take as many photos as you want))). Look into the monastery itself too.
A beautiful monastery on the top of the mountain, offering excellent views of Batumi. It's all clear. Capes are provided free of charge to visitors who arrive in shorts and short skirts.
Very beautiful views! Quiet, the birds are singing... And the air!!!!! I definitely recommend you to visit. If the taxi is not waiting for you back, you can go down a little bit, there is a bus to Batumi. It costs 70 tetris. The views are much better than from the cable car!
A very atmospheric place, real beauty and an opportunity to touch the history. The only negative is the annoying beggars near the entrance to the temple complex
For Orthodox believers, it is simply necessary to be in this place! If you have been on vacation in Georgia and have not been to the monastery, then at the first opportunity, as soon as you arrive here!! The most powerful place of power! Revered not only in Georgia, but also far beyond its borders
