There is no antiquity here, but there is an incredibly beautiful wall decoration with paintings, crystal mountain air. There is a museum with very old icons and all kinds of church utensils. If you find yourself here, be sure, since you have already arrived here, drive literally three minutes from the monastery up to the grave of Makarii, it is unreal in all respects - the landscape, the height, the money that someone spent on this whole beauty there. (We won't point fingers).

It's a very atmospheric place, I definitely recommend everyone to visit, it's better to leave early in the morning to arrive before the crowds of tourists.

A monastery founded in the 11th century. It is located in the Troodos mountains, the road to it goes along a steep serpentine. I liked this place: architecture, artistic masterpieces, bell ringing. You feel calm in it, leaving everything unnecessary at the foot of the mountains.
