I would put 2 c +, one point for proximity to the whole movement, the second for .. for.. I don't know what, there's probably worse, so there's more than one star. The photo presented on the island is a delight, in fact a tired, worn-out hotel - the wallpaper is leaving the room and the laminate is swollen, the furniture is on its last legs-it's clean to spend the night, but for this purpose you can pick up cheaper, no kettle- nothing, it's just squeamish to be in the bathroom (toilet) room. At the reception, a friend is sometimes annoyed, then sits on a pot and broadcasts from there, a funny sight. And the price tag is average, again because of the photo, I would have seen it in real life-I probably wouldn't have taken it off for such a price list. It's up to you, I don't recommend it
We lived in this hotel at the end of May for a week,it was always clean, the bed was changed every 3 days, the hosts are very hospitable people, they will always help, tell you,the hostess speaks Russian, the hotel is very cozy, located in a very good location, everything is within walking distance, many tourist places to view, the area is calm,we walked late,it is safe, there are many cafes where you can eat tasty and inexpensively, the hostess recommends cafes where it is especially delicious, also shops, the owners are very responsive, help in everything, the feeling that they are visiting relatives,Thank them for this,I recommend it to everyone!
The view from the window was certainly not the same as in the photo, but it was not particularly important, because they left at 8 a.m. and arrived at 9 p.m. The rooms are clean, the price is consistent with the quality. The location is excellent. The hosts are responsive, there were no conflicts.

If it were possible, I would put -10 points. I do not advise any Russian person to get close to this hotel.
The only advantage here is the proximity to the sights. But there is also a "BUT" here: the hotel is located among the slums.
We had a rest with a friend, quite modestly. We arrived with a peaceful and friendly attitude towards both the country and, among other things, the owners of the hotel. They were not rude or rude, without a fee. We just spent the night, left order in the room, went for a walk all day, not appearing there until the evening.
But that was not the case. The housekeeper, who receives guests and knows Russian (she herself is obviously of a different nationality), was not friendly from the very beginning.
The tone was dismissive. Probably because she saw that we came to rest as "girlfriends" without men and there was "no one to stand up for us" (but this is my guess).
During our 4 days of rest, we witnessed 2 conflicts between this lady and other residents and found ourselves involved in another conflict. The most interesting thing is that she provokes them herself.
She is very loud and angry with her tongue, does not shy away from expressions.
The reason for the aggression towards us was that we (unintentionally) did not wipe our feet on the mat at the entrance to the hotel from the street (the hotel, not even the room!). She was not too lazy to come to our room with the owner (who does not understand Russian, but circled next to her and said something so aggressively in his own language that it seemed like he would throw us out of there right now, apparently she also screwed him up) and start saying phrases like "what are you don't you see that you're carrying trash here from the street?!", "You Russians are a very arrogant nation" and all in this spirit.
We have adopted the position of not responding to aggression with aggression, because it is banal to "defend" one's rightness in a foreign country, not knowing what they are capable of doing, realizing that the conflict was initiated from scratch. Therefore, they silently pretended that they were listening to this and looked straight at her. Apparently, this began to anger her even more and in the process of her "monologue" the phrases "I don't owe you anything here, don't look at me as if I owe you a ruble. If you don't like it, go live somewhere else. It will happen again-you will not get here and I will throw your things out on the street."
It was the most terrifying situation, but besides that, there were a lot of small moments BEFORE it, when this woman seemed to be looking for an excuse to cling to. I got the impression that she was a Russophobe.
4 nights in this hotel were not like a vacation, but like taking the wrong step and you might end up in an unfamiliar city on the street.
I do not advise anyone for any money, even for free. Because you don't owe anything here, but you should :). The impression remained amazing in the bad sense of the word.
In addition, there was trouble with heating, they slept in sweaters and socks, they were freezing anyway.
The safe doesn't work (and it's scary to leave something there), the hair dryer doesn't work either.
When checking in, the housekeeper said not to make noise after 23 o'clock, because "the hotel is family-run," and at 23:30 she was brawling on the stairs with other tenants.
In general, there are a lot of questions about this place, so in order not to spoil the holiday experience, it's better to look for another place!
We were on New Year's Eve. We stayed at the hotel for 8 days. The room had a view of the bay. The hotel is old, but very cozy. The room is not big, but it has everything! Safe, wardrobe, bedside tables, refrigerator. The mattress is just perfect, I slept like a baby. I have scoliosis and it is important for me to have a good mattress. There is a hairdryer, towels, gels and shampoos in the bathroom. The hotel has heating. The shower room is not big. But there is enough space to wash. Cleaning the hotel every day! Towels and bed linen are changed 1 time in 2 days! There is no such thing even in a 5-star hotel! Lovely Suni at the reception) she greeted us warmly. He told us everything, where to go, and even told us the way. There is also breakfast on the ground floor. Boiled eggs, cheese, olives, butter, honey, chocolate paste, tomato, cucumber, tea, Coffee and of course fresh crispy bread) the location of the hotel is gorgeous. We walked everywhere, except on the Asian side) when we had to leave, it turns out that you can order a taxi from the hotel, it will arrive on time and take you to the airport. Who is going to come to Istanbul and stay in a hotel, this hotel will not suit you) We were very satisfied, we will be back in the fall) thank you
Positive :the hotel is located close to the main attractions, transport hubs and a cheap market, the room had a beautiful view of the bay, some of the staff speaks Russian, more or less cleanly.
Cons: there are a lot of creepy slums around the hotel, the room is cramped, shabby, without a kettle and glasses, with a running shower and a very small sink, breakfast was extremely meager and the same every day.

A wonderful hotel, very convenient location, the owners of the hotels are very kind and helpful people, thank you for a great stay, not all rooms have sea views!
Basically, it's fine. Not a hotel, but a hotel. The walls are thin, everything is audible, the rooms are small, high humidity. Many rooms require renovation, or at least mold removal. There is very little space in the bathroom.
Good TV and bed. There are towels and shampoos and gels. The linen is changed every three days.
Responsive, friendly and Russian-speaking staff, Fast and free Wi-Fi.
Budget accommodation for a week. For longer, it's better to find something more expensive in another area.
The area adds color. This is the outskirts of the market quarter, albeit in the center. The location itself is very convenient, but the block is dirty and unlit.
Hello! Booked for 13 days, lived 1 night, smoked and the size of a double room as an outdoor toilet, 1) Sanabar cleaning woman - asked to clean the room because it was very dirty, to which she replied or in a 5* hotel if you don't want dirty, for a moment I knew Russian, I asked not to be rude to which she whispered what does not love my nation, she herself is from Kyrgyzstan, she said to sit silently or I will make you deported, and a man named Zafar kicked out the reception desk, said pack your things and leave, if you don't leave you won't survive this night, with an obvious threat!
I was not refunded for the remaining 12 days, and was kicked out with threats and scandal.
Inexpensive and practical. Responsive staff and acceptable conditions in the rooms (refrigerator, air conditioning (although it did not work with us), TV).
But the most remarkable thing is the location. Walking distance to all the main attractions of Istanbul.
