I ask everyone to read it carefully. This will help you save the life and health of your loved ones.
Our grandmother died in this hospital in January 2021, and came here in December 2020 with a mild form of coronavirus by transfer from the Minsk Scientific and Practical Center for Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology, which is located at 8 Semashko Street (9th GKB).
Now in order.
She was transferred to this hospital having already been infected, and she became infected with coronavirus during treatment for another disease (she was already on her way to discharge) at the 9th GKB. It is unclear why they were transferred, the 9th GKB also has a coronavirus department. Although.. of course, it is clear that the 9th GKB is considered a good hospital and it seems that doctors and equipment are better there, so they treat only the young there and they do not want to spoil the statistics with the old. These are my speculations, but they are based on communication with doctors of this and other hospitals.
Having got to the WWII Veterans Hospital initially with a mild form of coronavirus (there was no fever, there were no symptoms), our grandmother was not treated with anything except some hormones. Why treat – there are no symptoms. CT was not done, as it turned out, there is no device in the Hospital.
Then my grandmother got worse and worse, first she needed oxygen, then she was transferred to the intensive care unit on an oxygen mask and then on a ventilator.
At the same time, they were not treated with anything – they justified it with some nonsense, the doctors know better!
All the way, these doctors, in the person of the deputy chief physician Alla Mikhailovna Molchan, prepared us for the death of our grandmother, even when she still had a normal condition.
Do you know why? This is a hospital for the elderly, where everyone is used to their patients going to the cemetery in 80% of cases, and therefore doctors already have a distorted understanding of reality and there is no desire to fight for the lives of patients, everyone is used to death. This is the worst thing that can happen to the profession of a doctor – he gets used to it and considers a fatal outcome to be the norm. This hospital and its doctors are dangerous for this.
The doctors said they didn't come back from the ventilator, you know? It was openly said. This is not the case in other hospitals, because you need to BE ABLE to return from a ventilator, I have studied a lot of literature during this time. They don't know how to do that in this hospital. Ventilator = death.
I managed to find a covid expert, one of the leading in the republic, and brought him to the WWII hospital when my grandmother was already on a ventilator.
But it was too late. I'm not naming the expert's name, she's not to blame for anything, I hope.
Literally, the words of the expert "do such hospitals still exist.." are about the competence of doctors and the lack of necessary equipment. There is a ventilator, but there are no other devices that are needed in intensive care. The expert prescribed treatment, but it was too late.
My grandmother died because she was not treated initially, a mild form of coronavirus could be cured at the initial stage, but because she was not treated, she was led to death in a few weeks, indifferently watching the deterioration of her condition. This is the horror of indifference, death habits and low competence of doctors.
And you know, no one prevented these doctors and Alla Mikhailovna Molchan from calling this expert at the very beginning and getting the necessary advice. As it turned out, these experts are specially allocated to all hospitals in the republic and their task is to advise doctors on the ground, this is a program of the Ministry of Health, because there are not enough experts on the ground.
If the treatment had started on time, we had received the necessary expert advice, then grandma would have been alive. She was active and worked as a kindergarten teacher. She is full of energy and had to live for another 20 years, as her mother lived. She has a good inheritance. She had been fighting for life for many weeks with the virus, which was slowly killing her in front of indifferent and incompetent doctors. There were children and grandchildren, for whom she was the center of the family and a ray of light.
Take care of your family from this hospital, do not rely on doctors, be interested in everything that is happening, look for opportunities, get everyone on their feet, look for competent specialists, look for caring people.
Unfortunately, there are no laws in Belarus that can punish doctors for their stupidity, indifference and negligence.
They should be responsible for this, but there will be no answer. They have to live with it.
He was in rehabilitation after bilateral pneumonia and a confirmed diagnosis of Covib19, transferred from 2nd grade to Engels. Everything is at the highest level here honey.the staff is very polite and competent, the food is very good, the attitude and atmosphere are very positive, and in general all the staff is good. If there was a rating of more than five stars, I would put more. THANK you so much for your hard work!!!
