A fresh, quiet hotel in a bay with beautiful views. The territory is small, but very cozy. Clean, tidy, the staff is polite and friendly. The beach is a pier, but there are also small places with sand and entering the water.
The water is blue and clean, fish are swimming 🐟
There are restaurants, a bar.
There was no animation, there was peace and quiet in the evening)
I'll start with the positive aspects about the hotel and the staff:
-The staff is very friendly, helpful, eager to please and responds quite quickly to any request. Table service is very fast compared to other hotels in Turkey (in my humble experience).
-The view from the hotel is really outstanding, the atmosphere is really calm... there is no evening entertainment program, which means peace and quiet (ideal for introverts and families), there is a children's room for toddlers.
- The food quality is good
-The rooms are bright, clean and spacious
-The water is clear as glass, although it is colder than in other regions
Areas requiring improvement
-There are no spoons in the room and at breakfast, you need to ask for them separately if you want to eat muesli or yogurt.
-The choice of food is very very very very very limited, there is only one restaurant on the beach (I don't consider a Japanese restaurant because we didn't want Japanese food in Turkey) and the dishes are always the same! By the end of our stay at the hotel, we were very tired of the choice of dishes. If you take a half-board menu, keep in mind that your choice for dinner will consist of five main courses and five salads. that's all. It was very poor for us, considering that this is a five-star hotel. There is no buffet. Breakfast is probably the best and most varied meal that you will receive.
-Half board does not include any drinks, even non-alcoholic. We were not clearly informed either by our travel agent or that she was not informed by the hotel. We don't quite understand whose responsibility it is. But it seems to me that it may help to inform others about this fact in advance. But we thank the restaurant manager for making it more comfortable for us.
-If you want to eat out, you have three options: Gundogan village (about 15 minutes walk downhill), Yalikavak Marina - 20 minutes by taxi, or the center of Bodrum - about 30 minutes by taxi.
-There is no money exchange service at the reception (perhaps this is more typical for chain hotels)
- I would advise the hotel to purchase portable chargers for guests so that they can use them on the beach, it would really improve the experience.
Excellent hotel, true 5 stars. We drove for 2 years in a row, 5+ each time. Cleaning, replenishment of the bar 2 times a day, replacement of bed linen and bathroom accessories - every day. Excellent breakfast and coffee, excellent service. Its own beach with a closed area, sun beds, towels are always available. A good cafe on the beach and a good spa area. The gym is small, but it has everything you need.
Definitely a recommendation.
