Update: the company comments that I was shown a faulty front bearing, which is fundamentally wrong: the foreman gave a thumbs-up through the window, saying "it", then talked to the administrator, and I was invited to the repair area when the hub was removed, the foreman literally said "there is a slight uncritical noise, there is no backlash, it's unlikely, but so can he," this is after trying to get the sensor, with the literal comment "most likely it may not work anymore." Already during the repair process, the administrator suggested "maybe not him" as well. I arrived with a specific hum problem and nothing has changed after the replacement. The suggestion was to replace another serviceable one on the other side. I heard about the cost of "turning the wheels" at 40 rubles when the car was already on the lift, and not "in advance". Listen to recordings of conversations. Even if I refused, you would have charged the amount for disassembly, as with lifting the car. As a customer, I was already in the red as soon as I handed over the keys. Therefore, in the situation, I decided to replace him, having no other choice. You are not responsible for your mistake, as the comment confirms now. At the cost of simple actions, aka just picking up cars that are absolutely free at most other service stations, if there is no understanding of the problem and claims that you see the problem and need to analyze more for diagnosis, you force the client to make a repair decision so as not to incur even greater losses. I repeat, you made a poor diagnosis, made a mistake, did not fix the problem and tried to charge even more money by keeping the car on the lifts - either you pay for installing the sensor, or you leave the car and choose a purchase with a 40% markup, I repeat, at another service station they approached the problem more carefully and solved it without question. for a price twice as low, the sensor was also replaced for free - there is silence in the car.
There were no misunderstandings about replacing the sensor, I asked several times in disbelief. And of course they didn't mention the moment of tightening?
Oh, yes, they didn't publish a negative review on the site, of course. It is a pity that adequate craftsmen have to ruin their reputation with this approach of the company. After all, it was his job that he did well.
Their "diagnostic" error cost me 280 rubles, and they naturally did not want to admit it. They're raising cars. Claims are not accepted. No customer orientation. It all comes down to driving the car and already ripping off something, even if the problem has not been accurately identified, their argument is "we do not raise it for free," but we will gladly conduct an experiment at your expense. Two stars only out of respect for the master himself, who tried to do everything carefully.
In detail:
A rumble came with a problem when driving with the assumption of a hub bearing on the right side. I ordered the front and back. Called. They immediately told me to come, but we have a shortened day, we may not take it to work. I say OK, but we can at least listen, the spare parts have been ordered, the front right one has already arrived, I can take it with me, but at least understand. They answer - come. I arrived, the administrator rode around and says the front right, but we'll still lift it up and listen. They lifted the car - the master turned the wheels and says he doesn't know for sure, he doesn't hear. Maybe the front one. We need to remove the brake caliper and listen. The administrator asks if we are repairing, I say yes. Work starts and they tell me, but we may not make it. I say, okay, then let's come tomorrow. The answer is, then pay 40 rubles for the diagnosis (which wasn't really there).
Further theses:
- lift the car and turn the wheels with your hands - this is a diagnosis for 40 rubles! In fact, any car lift is 40 rubles!!! You'll find out about it when the car is up.
- as a result of "this diagnosis", the front right bearing was sentenced, replaced, and the claim that the noise did not disappear was said, "well, sometimes, buy the front LEFT and we'll change it." I decided not to push my luck and went to another service station, listened with a stethoscope - they said the front ones were OK, the problem was in the rear right. They replaced the sensor they had broken with a bonus and paid 60 rubles. It's twice as cheap.
- about the ABS sensor - it was broken during the repair process (they agreed with me on the breakage, they say, otherwise the bearing could not be replaced) and offered to order a new one for 120 rubles. Although it cost 70-80 in all stores. I say I can order it and you can put it in tomorrow. The answer is yes, but there are still 40 rubles for a second lift. In fact, either the car freezes on the lift, or you pay for a second lift.
- at the request of the master to see the tightening torque, the administrator literally said "I won't" - I, the client, had to look for myself. I informed the administrator and in response I heard - so go and tell the master.
I repeat, the master himself is OK, he did everything as carefully as possible, it can be seen through the window, rechecked, the bearing was pressed with a press, but the policy of the company or the administrator / receptionist is tinny. The receipt is being issued. If it weren't for the lengthy process and the need for an auto, I would have gone to court and had an independent expert examination. Because this approach is not the case. If you take money for "lifting and diagnostics", then you have to be responsible.
I applied to Miura 3 on Promyshlenniy Lane to replace the brake pads. The work was done promptly and efficiently. What I liked the most was that the craftsmen listened to me for a long time and tried to figure out which repair option would be suitable for me. The price turned out to be quite reasonable.
