A unique opportunity to spend the night in a Castle with a 500-year history, which
we took advantage of in early September 2024. The place is very
atmospheric, especially good in the evening, when all the tour groups
have left and it seems that the castle is at your disposal, the castle lighting
gorgeous. The rooms are a little tired, but it even gives them a certain
charm. The only thing that is necessary is the presence of a fumigator, because of the
proximity of the mosquito water in excess. Tea and coffee can be bought at the reception,
but tea can also be drunk in the room by asking the receptionist for a kettle,
unfortunately, there are no dishes in the rooms, an iron can also be provided to you.
There is a cooler on the floors. There is Wi-Fi in the rooms. The staff is very nice. In
general, we were satisfied with our stay.
The historically preserved part is small, there are many places where you can kill yourself in kind, the guides are not big on this... In general, it's interesting, the souvenirs are average, the entertainment groups (the Scottish infantry, in my case, are pretty good). It's a bit expensive to eat, but you can look for 5 establishments in the district, for the very economical, a Penny and a Euroopt are nearby. The hotel in the castle is clean, tidy, but expensive and clueless - the plumbing was originally planned to be premium, but is now in decline.
Good day!
A great place with a history
It is very interesting and informative
There is a great hotel 🏨
In summer, it's better to come for a couple of days and take a slow look at everything!
There are steep vertical stairs in the towers,
Children really like to climb to the top!
