A wonderful cultural heritage site.
Beautifully restored buildings, interiors and the territory with a tomb. With a radio guide, the tour turns out to be quite informative. In my opinion, it is better to visit the Castle not as part of a group, but individually, in a free schedule, so you can see all the museum halls and corners of the castle, and at the end of the tourist day, drive to the village of Mir itself and visit the restored Catholic Church on the square and the Orthodox Church opposite it, they have wonderful female caretakers, Each of them told us a lot more interesting things about their churches, about the World, and about the Secular Castle...
An impressive place. I heartily advise you to visit. Majestic, beautiful, interesting.
My advice is to take a guided tour. Our tour of the castle was intense and informative, and I liked the guide. The castle itself impresses with its architecture. (I liked it better than Nesvizh Castle).
You will have to walk a lot on steep and narrow stairs, be prepared for this. Speaking of stairs, you can climb the observation tower (you'll have to climb a SUPER steep staircase very high), but if you have the strength and desire, I advise you to climb.
A beautiful castle, there are interesting historical expositions inside, various activities take place (we were on New Year's Eve, there was a children's ball). On the downside: the aisles are cramped, and if there is a large influx of visitors, it is not always possible to get close enough to see the exhibits. The guides are focused on "fast service", there is no time for questions. Perhaps it's just that we didn't go well... But, on the whole, the overall impression of visiting the castle remained pleasant!
A magnificent complex, beautiful, with a rich history!
We were incredibly lucky with the weather, we appreciated the beauty of the complex)
I highly recommend you to visit!
I also recommend that you find out before visiting if there will be any historical reconstruction activities in the complex at the time of the visit! It was great, and it noticeably brightened up the impression of the castle, which was spoiled by the sleepy guide.
Alas, the wonderful impression was completely ruined by the org part.:
❌The reservation was made in March, the promotion was indicated in the form of a 5% discount on the cost of the order for an earlier booking - they refused (the reservation for April 28, BEFORE the May holidays, was justified by the May holidays);
The day before, when confirming the trip ( 04.27), it became clear that an advance payment was required (the original offer assumed payment on the spot).
Now (logically, before the May holidays) this has been removed from the site in the description and a 100% prepayment is indicated.
Apparently, I shouldn't have paid attention to the obvious rudeness and canceled the reservation (and it was too late to change anything on the trip itself...)
The group size is not specified ( 50 people- figure it out for you or not)
The cherry on the cake was that my husband poisoned himself with lunch during the trip and had been suffering from fever, digestive disorders and feeling unwell for the last 1.5 days.
1.5 days out of 4 days of vacation!!!!
Belindtrevel said that we were making everything up (you're the only one who applied!)...
Or tactfully share the problem caused by the organizer's fault- not okay, you definitely have to dirty the bus and ruin the trip for everyone who was nearby???
I don't understand this story of the magical art of "zhrichodali"...
Let's go fix the problem to the doctor...
Choose an independent visit or carefully choose an individual tour!
The exposition is gorgeous, I have never seen such museums before, there are a lot of exhibits, both originals and very high-quality reconstructions. The number of halls, galleries, towers, stairs and basements is simply off the charts! everything is furnished with respect and professionalism!
But a very important point is that all Worldly catering is focused on the maintenance of organized excursions, and in most cases, when you go in for a snack, you will see the sign "Special Service", we were not able to have lunch...
The castle itself is beautiful! It is definitely worth visiting there, but with an excursion, because our guide, taking us through the rooms of the castle, colorfully, with what love and humor she talked about the castle, its history and owners. Thank her very much! But please remove the female caretaker in the courtyard of the castle, she was sitting on 04/23/2025 at the exit of the stairs and was very rude to me when I tried to go up the stairs, although it was possible to calmly and politely show me the entrance. My mood was ruined, and so was my impression.
A great day at the castle.
We booked a hotel in the castle itself for a day. Very beautiful area around. The hotel is cozy and comfortable.
I didn't book the tour in advance, we bought an audio guide - it's not very interesting. The tour is like one big story, and the audio guide tells you about the exhibits individually - book the tour in advance.
A very atmospheric restaurant in the castle itself.
I highly recommend visiting. An unforgettable experience. Immersion in European history. Don't be lazy, buy a small book about the castle, detailed, but without overloading, in different languages. Helps you understand everything you see. One day was barely enough for us. There is an exhibition in the castle, there are many halls, it is interesting. There are separate passages and towers of the castle. An unforgettable experience. Narrow corridors and steep stairs, the two of them couldn't separate. And a chapel with a family tomb. We barely had a day. It would be better to have two days to visit. After the steep ladders in the towers, my knees are a little tired. Maybe it won't suit everyone. There are separate tickets for all these parts of the exhibition. You can take lunch breaks or rest. There are several free parking lots near the castle. Free toilet in the museum building before the ticket office. Entrance to the castle grounds is 24-hour, free.
A very beautiful place in Belarus. The castle is located about 130 km from Minsk.
I was here on a field trip. The road to the castle is gorgeous, we got there quickly, the guide talked interestingly about the owners of the castle.
The castle itself has been restored, and the guide is wonderful and very friendly.
In short, there are only good memories left. I recommend visiting this beautiful place.
A place that leaves an unforgettable impression. I am very glad that we visited there. The castle has been restored. The thick old walls are included in the UNESCO heritage. The interior is very beautifully restored. You can walk along the defensive walls, go down to the basement where the prison was, and be sure to go to the chapel outside the territory. You can even stay overnight and have lunch! I definitely recommend visiting the castle.
An incredibly beautiful place, interesting, majestic. Being in it, you immediately get into the life and everyday life of that era. I was very impressed. There is a souvenir shop on site, and there is a restaurant in the castle itself. Unfortunately, we couldn't have lunch there, but we tried the tinctures, they make them very well.
I recommend you to visit!
A beautiful castle, interesting interactive exhibitions. Wonderful interiors. Affordable prices, interesting tour support. There are events for different age groups. Conveniently located. You can have a delicious meal in the antique interior. I recommend you to visit.
The castle is very interesting! We visited on the way from Minsk to Brest on 12.26.24. If desired and possible, you can spend the whole day. Renovated interiors, rich exposition. Curious ascents in the towers. I give 4 stars because of the restaurant: I didn't like the service, the dishes were mediocre in taste, the prices were high, even relative to the central restaurants in Minsk.
It is a very beautiful palace and park complex, and it is a pleasure to walk around the territory, as it is free of charge. The building itself has been very well restored, the exposition (for me, it's a little meager, to be honest, but everything is ahead) and the interior decoration is also not as magnificent as in the same Nesvizh (but this castle should have been poorer). A separate delight is the towers with their stairs: very narrow and very steep, in general delight)
The landmark of Belarus is an attractive place to visit and spend time, an educational tour of the Radziwoll Castle. Literate and enlightened guides tell interesting stories for children. There is a beautiful place for walking around the fortress.
I advise everyone to visit this historical place, the castle fascinates with its grandeur, size, beauty and mystery. There is a cool restaurant in the basement of the castle, you can plunge into the atmosphere of those times, the basements remained untouched by time and wars!
The castle is interesting, unlike Nesvizh, the interior decoration is more modest, but more original, and walking through it is even more interesting. Everything is arranged as a quest with a descent to the basement, there is also a separate entrance to climb through the labyrinths of walls and towers, but there is a lack of organized arrow movement. Because of this, flows collide in narrow corridors, which is unsafe in the basement there is an epic themed restaurant, but the cuisine there is so-so and the prices are crazy, I do not recommend it.
A wonderful architectural monument. There are few interior interiors, the chateau is remembered for visiting towers and galleries. Climbing and descending the narrow and steep spiral staircases in the walls of the towers, you can feel how it really was. You can go out onto the wall and look at the surroundings of the castle and the central square. It's not easy physically, but it will be an experience for a lifetime, especially for children.
It's a very beautiful castle! It was very interesting to visit it, atmospheric, mysterious! The tours are impressive! From the upper floors of the castle, magnificent views open! The cafe inside the castle is wonderful, very tasty, cozy, atmospheric! Excellent waiters.
It is a beautiful historical heritage site, which, according to the impressions of what you have seen, few things in Belarus can compare with. Incredible atmosphere, great guided tours and exhibitions, friendly staff. The complex has a great hotel with spacious, clean rooms, decorated in a very authentic way. I recommend you to visit!
An interesting place. There are a lot of tourists. The history of the place is rich. I am glad that the territory is very large, everything is clean and tidy. It's not difficult to get there. The cost of the visit is not expensive. One of the must-see places.
It's a very interesting castle. Excellent guides, a rich collection of exhibits. A wonderful restoration. Convenient location, the opportunity to visit two attractions at once.
A very beautiful and interesting place, a wonderful guide in the castle itself, I liked the castle more than Nesvizh. I'll be happy to come back. By the way, during the holiday season in Russia, they said not to crowd at all, we were in October on a weekday and I will not say that it was spacious, tour after tour. Nevertheless, the guides tried to make sure that everyone had enough space and did not interfere with each other.
A very nicely decorated place))) there is plenty of room to walk inside and outside, but again there are shoals where the restorators have overdone it. And it's very beautiful and picturesque here. There are also performances of "stuntmen". I advise you to visit!
The place is beautiful, interesting, and not at all overheated. The interiors are no less impressive than the exterior of the building. Music is playing in the courtyard - late medieval - the Witcher's musical theme. The restorers are great, they did their best, it was done carefully, efficiently and with respect for the history of this place. The area around the castle is well maintained, with beautiful architectural and landscape design. In general, the atmosphere of the castle is good and calm, despite the rich historical events that took place in the castle, but that's the story.
A beautiful castle , very interesting inside, a lot of knight's armor and various ancient things, of course, all from different centuries, but this was to be expected so many times this castle changed hands and was destroyed by someone.
We definitely need to come here, we lived here on the way to the Brest fortress.
We were delighted to visit the castle. Not only is the castle itself an artifact, but everything around it, including the interior and the museum, is a legacy of history. The guide is very competent, she told the history of the castle from its construction to the present time.
There is all the infrastructure for tourists.
There is a hotel in the castle itself, you can stay and live in a medieval atmosphere.
If you have seen this place, then without a doubt put it in the plan to visit it!
A beautiful place, not far from Minsk (75 km), also relatively nearby (about 30 km) is the second Nesvizh Castle). It's very beautiful, but the castle itself is small, so there are a lot of people on holidays and weekends. There is a hotel on site and you can stay in a real castle!
The beauty is indescribable. A very soulful place with a rich history. If possible, then go on a guided tour (they are often held). No one is limited in time, go at least several times on the same route. The caretakers in the halls can also suggest interesting things (if you talk to them, they get bored standing all day). You can just read about the history of the castle and its many owners and arrive loaded. Take the children.
A very beautiful castle, nearby there is a territory with a lake where you can walk. Interesting excursions. There are many expositions that can be explored. There is a souvenir shop nearby for different tastes.
The castle is beautiful, but its staff and administration are minus 100 stars. If you are going to visit it, just take a walk around or in the courtyard, there is no point in taking tickets for excursions, spoil your mood. The ascents to the towers are not controlled by employees in any way, people go back and forth themselves, create traffic jams, if you go up to the tower, you can go down when the flow of ascenders ends, and since no one controls them at the bottom, it can take a long time.... Then the museum, we did not get into it, to get there we need to remove outerwear, and in order to put it in the wardrobe, you have to stand in a giant queue. When I asked the staff of this complex to solve this problem, they replied: "we already have two cloakroom staff, what can we do?"
It's definitely worth visiting this place, the photos will be great, there's nothing to see inside, it's better to buy a souvenir.
It's a beautiful place! All buildings have been restored and are in perfect condition. We visited it in winter, and the entire exposition was open, which is important! Friendly staff. There is a gift shop with a large selection downstairs. Ducks in the pond conquered my daughter))) Definitely need to visit when traveling to Belarus.
This is my first castle! I recommend to everyone to visit, including the museum, a lot of interesting things: armor, weapons, interior of halls, furniture, fireplaces, dishes. Just keep in mind: the towers have high steps, very steep and narrow ascents. For young people, it will probably be possible to get into all corners of the castle.
It has been more than a week since we returned from a trip to Belarus. And I'm still under a pleasant impression. We were in a car, we found the castle complex quickly, and the navigator led us to the right place. There were also no problems with parking. The castle itself is gorgeous, the tour is informative and interesting. The staff are competent and polite. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The only problem with Wi-Fi. The only way to get a signal to set up the navigator was at a local hotel. The castle is interesting for both adults and children. We got in well and saw a theatrical performance of warriors in the courtyard. We went to the tomb church of the princes of the World. We took a walk in the park. We admired the pond. We took beautiful photos. We took an independent tour of the castle walls (very high and steep ascents, my husband climbed to the topmost tier without me, but the views from the top are very beautiful!) and a guided tour of the exhibits inside the castle. They paid with the MIR card everywhere. Students get a discount. Our family really liked it. If possible, I don't mind coming back again.
It's a good place. We walked around the castle, bought souvenirs, and ordered cottage cheese pancakes at the restaurant in the basement. Very tasty! We drank delicious tea with Belarusian herbs and drove on. It took us an hour to do everything about everything. If it had been the weather, we would have been taking pictures for sure for another half hour!))
I recommend you to visit!
We were here in April, when everything was blooming and turning green. The castle looks wonderful against the background of young greenery. It feels like you're going back several centuries. You get an idea of how people lived at that time. I really enjoyed the tour of the museum, you start to perceive everything a little differently. There are many interesting objects of art and interior design. I advise everyone to visit there.
I really liked the castle. I went by myself, without an excursion. There are many steep stairs up and down. Bruschatka on the street. So the shoes should be comfortable. Very beautiful interiors, medieval music played outside. And, most importantly, not far from Minsk. We got there quickly by car.
Mir Castle is a great place for a guided tour! If you are thinking about where to go for a week from Moscow without a visa, this is of course Belarus. Cleanliness, no language barrier, European mild climate and European roads, absolutely not European prices with excellent quality, and beautiful castles restored by the state . For many years, there was even a school in the small village of Mir for the restoration of this castle, which trained restorers!
We really liked Mir Castle, we went on a guided tour, since it's not particularly interesting to just walk through. There is parking for cars, and the check-in using the navigator is convenient. We stayed for an hour and a half on the way to Brest from Minsk. I advise you to visit, we went with teenagers - they liked it too. no one went into the restaurant, there is a vending machine with drinks, ice cream and snacks in the parking lot.
We have been to Mir Castle several times with excursions and on our own. It is always interesting and informative. There are many exhibits in the castle, beautifully decorated halls and showcases. Competent guides, courteous staff. The area around is clean and well maintained, despite the large number of people. There is a Church of St. Nicholas not far from the castle, I also recommend a visit. The only point, try to set aside a whole day for inspection. Then you can fully enjoy a leisurely walk and a tour of the castle. We also went to Nesvizh, and it was already too much.
It's just a gorgeous cultural heritage site, the staff and guides are gorgeous, my wife and I got a lot of emotions and immersed ourselves in the history of the castle and Belarus, thank you very much, to visit the country and not look into the World and Not live is a crime...
A wonderful museum and a beautiful place. The castle has been greatly transformed in recent years, and the opportunity to visit all its parts, as well as several towers, leaves an unforgettable feeling. A large collection of historical materials has been collected in this place.
It's a very beautiful place. A theatrical performance is being held in the courtyard. It works up to 18 hours!!! Plan your trip wisely. The castle contains its entire history from the time immemorial of knights in armor to the post-war reconstruction period. The place you need to visit .
A very beautiful, atmospheric place, without further ado, I just recommend visiting, but right with a guide, then get into the full history of the castle. There is a cafe with local cuisine on the territory, the territory itself is quite large, there is something to see.
Super lock. It is kept in perfect condition. There is a rich collection and exhibits on the subject are very well arranged. The whole family should definitely visit!!! We were thrilled!!!
The unreal beauty of medieval Gothic surrounded by an ancient park. Perhaps the most beautiful castle on the territory of Belarus. Part of the premises is now being used as a hotel to accommodate tourists. There is quite a nice restaurant. Parking for cars is organized nearby.
