I had the pleasure of dining at this charming restaurant, and it was truly unforgettable. The standout dish was the mortadella pizza—without a doubt, the best I’ve ever tasted. The delicate, savory flavor of the mortadella paired perfectly with the crispy, yet soft crust, creating a pizza experience like no other. Another highlight was the high-quality olive oil served at the table, which enhanced every bite and showed their attention to detail in every aspect of the meal. As for dessert, it was a sweet finish that left me craving more—each treat was a perfect combination of rich flavors and texture. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking an authentic and unforgettable culinary experience.
I was looking for a restaurant for lunch in Gyumri on the principle of "in the top 10 Trip Advisor", I chose Miro at random and was not mistaken.
The restaurant positions itself as a modern approach to Armenian and European cuisine. The menu features many familiar local dishes and snacks (eggplant rolls, hummus, mutables, and others), several types of pizza, European salads, dumplings, and several signature main dishes.
I tried the signature beef in Burgundy with mashed parmesan cheese, and also ordered their signature cocktail Amethyst: gin, vermouth, lychee liqueur. Beef is perfectly stewed in wine, it falls apart at the touch of a fork. The puree is the most delicate. The cocktail is pleasant and rich.
The service is top-notch, including for English- and Russian-speaking guests. A summer terrace in an enclosed courtyard, which adds comfort. The prices are quite reasonable, and compared to Yerevan it is inexpensive here.
Pleasant service, modern unobtrusive music, and a menu consisting not only of purely local cuisine, but trying to go beyond it towards fusion. A very pleasant modern interior and a cozy courtyard. I was lucky enough to get to a live musical performance.
In general, if you want something less "authentic Gyumri", but more modern, then this is it.
What can I say, neither my wife nor I liked it, + 1 point was for a good environment, + 1 point for a delicious pizza Margarita. That's all. My wife ordered a dolma passover, it was not tasty, although she was hungry, she ate only one, she said it was much tastier in another place than here. And I ordered beef in wine sauce and mashed potatoes. It's been a while since I've eaten anything worse. The beef is dry and tasteless, the puree is just like eating jellyfish, that is, something that has no taste at all. In general, it is better not to listen to bloggers and do not set foot here anymore.
