It's beautiful, interesting, and informative. Very narrow and steep stairs, you don't have to do a foot day after the tour. We took an audio guide for 5p. The place is atmospheric.
It was my first time here. Like it. We climbed into the tower, the steps are of course very high and the manholes are narrow, but there is nothing to look at in the tower. It is interesting for children to climb there. But we looked at everything anyway. And they went down to the basement. The park is beautiful.
I recommend visiting the museum. There are many things from the Middle Ages, there are beautiful tapestries, costumes of those times. There are kitchen rooms with kitchen utensils in the basements.
It is definitely worth a trip here, because it is difficult to get to other castles. This one makes an impression from the outside, the interior is somewhat sparse. But this can be explained by the fact that the meaning of the castle is in defense, it was not much more pleasant to be there and during its use. The tour seemed short and very fast, there was no time to ask questions, because I had to try to think at a pace with the guide
We visited it more than once. The place is just amazing. But this year there were a lot of tourists from the opening of the museum. The towers become crowded with a large number of people, traffic jams form.
The castle is located 90 km from Minsk, renovated, looks very interesting. You can enter the courtyard and the park around for free, or you can take a ticket to climb its walls and towers, walk through the halls.
A beautiful place, a cool castle, an interesting history, a souvenir shop right on the castle grounds, if desired, you can get acquainted with the history with a guided tour.
It's a beautiful place, we took a lot of good photos. The exposition is too small and there is no way to pay for tickets with a card, it is not very convenient! Take cash with you)
A beautiful place!😍Inside there is a hotel where you can spend the night and feel like a knight)), there is a restaurant, an interesting museum with underground installations. You can also climb the castle towers using cool spiral but narrow stairs. On the territory of the castle, reconstructions of knightly duels are carried out, where you can hold and take pictures with the knights' weapons.
I was pleasantly surprised. It is perfectly renovated, in PM and towers with spiral stairs, it is interesting to climb. They arrange theatrical fights, and the museum itself has interactive elements. After a trip to Belarus, Mirsky and Nesvizh are sincerely recommended to everyone
A very cozy place. A complex where you want to come and stay for a couple of days. Atmospheric. If you spend the night in a hotel, sometimes it's scary!) a very good museum. And a very tasty and atmospheric restaurant! Recommend
A pleasant place. Nice castle. We didn't go inside, we took a walk from the outside. Well-maintained territory. There is a chapel on the territory, admission is for a fee, they also did not go inside.
It's very beautiful, but somehow everything is very modern. There is no atmosphere of antiquity.
Otherwise, it is beautiful, clean, bright. A nice girl guide, she told me everything. There is a well-maintained area around.
A great place to walk) it is interesting to explore the castle itself and walk around the surroundings. You immerse yourself in the atmosphere of that time)
We did not visit the museum and restaurants, as there was little time, but I am sure that everything is in order there)
But in the souvenir shop, you can buy very inexpensive and cool dishes made by local craftsmen!
The complex itself is 5+, but the administration needs to choose either to conduct excursions or concerts of the Minsk Bolshoi Theater. Part of the exposition is collapsed, there is a crush in the open halls, everything is crumpled. Because of the mass of tourists in the city, there is nowhere to dine, everywhere is packed. The toilet is still a problem.
It's cool that the architectural monuments of that time and those peoples have been preserved in such good condition, thanks to the Government of the Republic of Belarus that all this was not destroyed by time, such as the whole city of Vyborg monument.
I really liked it, there are a lot of interesting things and a fairly long route, a lot of stairs and some of them are narrow with high steps, there are souvenir stalls across the street
One of the most beautiful castles in the Republic of Belarus. There is an elevator, which cannot but please people who have problems with the musculoskeletal system. Cafe, bathroom,Parking, souvenir shop-everything is on site. It is possible to book an educational tour. There are many beautiful locations both inside and outside the castle.
An interesting idea of restoration while preserving the appearance of a ruined wall. There is a lot of information about different periods . Good exposition, exhibitions. A beautiful park.
If you want to learn the history of Belarus closer and in more detail, then you definitely need to visit this place.Organized excursions give a more detailed and interesting idea of the castle. I do not recommend mini for girls who love selfies on the walls of the castle. Although.... :)
the castle is very authentic
, I liked it more than Nesvizh
, everything is somehow more natural here, although it is restored from ruins
, it looks more like the Middle
Ages on the square inside I participated in the staging it was fun
, I advise you to visit with a guide
If you are in Belarus, be sure to visit. And nearby there are very decent and very inexpensive cafes in the central square of the village, a must-visit!
Inside the bruschatka complex, music is playing, you immediately plunge into history.
We climbed the towers with our son, there is nothing to see, the child liked climbing these narrow openings with a very steep spiral staircase the most.
We left with impressions and sore feet :-))
I won't find any photos now, but I really liked it in the castle. Everything is clean, neat, and an interesting tour. A beautiful park. We rode bicycles with roofs there. I liked everything.
Put a couple of hours on the lock, you can book a tour (preferably in advance) if you did not succeed, take an audio guide where they will tell you in detail about the castle. Climb to all available points)))) to the towers and so on, I recommend signing up and going down with young children. It's difficult... we were lucky with the weather.. wonderful views.. an interesting history of the castle.
There are a lot of people. We made a big mistake by arriving at lunch. It is necessary to start in the morning, as there are queues everywhere, for the descent and ascent to the towers. Difficult climbs, for people with excess body weight and the elderly, it is better not to climb the towers. The steps are steep and high. I couldn't get into the cafe next to the castle, everyone was closed due to group visits, I didn't have time to serve Vali and there weren't enough places.
A beautiful place, we lived next to the castle) in the evening we walked around the area, in the morning we went on an excursion inside. We were very lucky to get) to the whole performance and ball!
Another one of my Belarusian loves! Mir castle! It is easy to get there by public transport. Especially on a private car. The staff is polite, the museum is interesting. Who likes to climb spiral staircases - there are a lot of them there! Very interesting!!
Everything is not bad, except climbing towers, a useless and energy-consuming activity, the exposition could be richer, but what is there!))) Paired with the neighboring castle, it is definitely worth spending one day walking around them!
It's beautiful and interesting. Everything is in excellent condition. It's a pity that we were without a tour. It's even more interesting with her. Be sure to take a guided tour. The territory is well maintained
Beautiful castle, completely restored. There is a beautiful area around. There is a souvenir market nearby. You can walk and see the center of the village of Mir.
The place is beautiful. The castle looks good both inside and out. There are many beautiful places around the castle. The photos are great. I recommend stopping by.
A very beautiful castle! The architecture and exterior are especially good. It's also interesting inside, although the interiors are new-made, there are a lot of replica items!
It is very beautiful, if you eat without a tour, you can take an audio guide.. The territory is huge, I recommend visiting the old park, there is a beach, swimming is allowed
A great place for pleasant walks and historical educational program. The lock is good, both outside and inside. Guides do not just share information, but literally immerse you in the era. It's as if you are visiting the owners and they introduce you to the chambers and halls of the fortress. It was nice to learn a few steps of the minuet in the ballroom, to be in the cellars where food stocks were stored, and also to participate in a theatrical tasting, dressed in costumes of past times.
Delight!
You can look in, but you haven't been thrilled. We were passing through, I don't even know if I would recommend it or not.. there is nowhere to eat, there are a couple of cafes in the area and they were occupied by local residents for some kind of events. The stall with some rolls and a doshirak was especially "impressed".
Everything is cool and great, I liked it so much, it's interesting everywhere, there is something to see everywhere, you can also eat in the restaurant, they cook delicious too
Not bad. But I wouldn't have gone from Minsk a second time. You can walk from and to in 1.5 hours. Beautiful, of course. We were without excursions, perhaps it would be even more interesting with them. The restoration was done with high quality. You definitely need to visit once
A wonderful place, especially in the evening, when there are no people. It is a very unusual experience to spend the night in an old castle that was built many centuries ago. It was a very decent restaurant, there were a lot of people at lunch, but the waiters managed.
I was with my family and my dog this summer. We liked everything. A great place for tourists like us. Those with dogs should be prepared for the fact that animals are not allowed everywhere. Well, the owners already know that. I recommend you to visit.
Mir Castle is beautiful! There's nothing to add here. During our trip to Belarus, we came here 2 times. We didn't have time to see the exhibits for the first time and were quite impressed with this place. Well, the second time we already stopped by and bought tickets inside. Belarusians have done their best and have now turned it into a candy and a place of attraction for tourists.
I am delighted to visit this castle, it is clear, beautiful, interesting. The only place where there were delays on the stairs, but you will feel how they went up and down before.
The place is incredible in its beauty and color. Gorgeous views and locations for photos, and if you go to a private exhibition of weapons and armor, then there is a descent to the basement and you can try on armor, chain mail and a sword to drag. Very atmospheric photos are obtained! You can walk around the museum, explore the towers and dungeons, only this is a test for endurance legs))) near the lake and a church with a fresco, there is also something to see. I advise everyone to visit this place. It took us at least two hours to climb everything.
I recommend it to those who liked the novels of W. Scott and R.L. Stevenson in childhood. It is necessary to spend the day at the museum, have dinner at the castle restaurant and stop right there for the night! Get an impression! You can go with your family!
The castle is well restored, the exposition is interesting, collected from objects of this time. I liked the exposition. I advise you to visit the Radziwill Castle and take a guide.
If you want to plunge into the distant past, then here you are. It's hard to run up the stairs of the towers, you definitely need COMFORTABLE shoes.
The castle is beautiful, I recommend it for a visit
Very cool!!!I liked everything, We were in 2015, it got even better..One disadvantage is that it is problematic to get to the castle and the city of Baranovichi if there is no car.
