We have been to Mir Castle several times with excursions and on our own. It is always interesting and informative. There are many exhibits in the castle, beautifully decorated halls and showcases. Competent guides, courteous staff. The area around is clean and well maintained, despite the large number of people. There is a Church of St. Nicholas not far from the castle, I also recommend a visit. The only point, try to set aside a whole day for inspection. Then you can fully enjoy a leisurely walk and a tour of the castle. We also went to Nesvizh, and it was already too much.
One of the most famous castles in Belarus. A must-visit. Concise and brutal. At the same time, it is majestic. There is a well-groomed territory with a pond around, you can walk and enjoy the beauty, visit the chapel located here on the territory of the castle. In the evening, from 22.00 to 23.00, the backlight turns on, which gives additional atmosphere to the castle.
There is a hotel on the territory of the castle. If possible, be sure to spend the night in the castle. But keep in mind that you need to book rooms in advance (all detailed information is available on the official website of the Mir Castle). We booked 2 nights in the hotel in advance and did not regret it at all. Very comfortable and atmospheric room. They felt like a kind of princes or counts. Special thanks to the hotel staff - very polite and pleasant.
There is also a Princely Courtyard restaurant on the territory of the castle. Be sure to try the dishes of this restaurant. Sometimes, due to the crowded nature, you will have to wait 30-35 minutes for the dish, but believe me it's worth it. The serving of the dishes and the taste of the dishes themselves are gorgeous!!
In general, I definitely recommend visiting Mir Castle!!!
It was the third time with an interval of 8 years. The territory has become even bigger and more beautiful. Clean, beautiful. There are several mini-cafes and Parking nearby.
There is a photo zone inside the castle for a small fee. Interesting excursions (we did not take them ourselves, but we accidentally got into the group for a while).
The chapel is very beautiful, it was still under reconstruction on our last visit.
There is a hotel inside the castle for those who want to plunge into the Middle Ages. There is a small but cozy hotel nearby. There are few people on a weekday.
There are additional exhibitions - this time wax figures from St. Petersburg were exhibited.
I recommend that you definitely visit.
One of the most beautiful and interesting places in our country.
A beautiful park and a pond right next to the castle, many different birds.
An interesting history of the castle, I advise you to read it if you decide to visit.
In summer, various events and even concerts are held on the territory - see the poster, you can combine it with a visit to the castle.
If you take a blanket or a blanket with you, you can sit on the shore of the reservoir, watch the birds and nature and admire the castle.
Among the disadvantages, food is very poorly organized on the territory next to the castle, tents with food / water. There is little choice, mostly snacks or a long wait for food, so be prepared for this.
There is a toilet, but it is paid, which is strange because you have already paid for admission.
There is also a coffee shop and a hotel in the castle itself.
You can get there by car, there are large parking lots. Buses also run there several times a day.
Beyond praise. We will definitely come back with friends. To the organizers of such a stylish place... thank you very much! Everything is neat. There is a museum nearby. You can walk around the entire castle until nightfall. Very good. Expensive... Yes, but what to do. Should I maintain such an infrastructure?.. it is also not cheap, but very expensive.
I recommend it for romantics. Or for those who want to experience unforgettable days and nights with their betrothed
I definitely advise you to visit this magnificent castle with its atmospheric decoration, get acquainted with its history, wander through the halls with exhibitions, as well as visit several interesting towers and enjoy magnificent views of the territory. They say that a real ghost roams the castle at night! I advise you to visit the Knyazhy Dvor restaurant inside and have a very tasty meal by candlelight!
The castle is very interesting. This is an object with a very rich history. It has survived several epochs, many owners, was part of different countries, absorbed the culture of various peoples.
The castle itself seemed relatively small, but with a fairly large exposition. It is well maintained both inside and outside. It is surrounded by a small park pleasant for walking.
It makes sense to use the services of a guide. A good storyteller will "enliven" the expositions. For a full-fledged bypass, you will need to move between floors, including along narrow stairs. He carried his four-year-old son up the stairs in his arms.
The castle is guaranteed to appeal to fans of history, medieval times, and military themes.
Running in a hurry, you can inspect the castle in half a day and leave, for example, for Nesvizh. Getting to know each other can take a whole day. You can have a snack and relax a little here.
We were on vacation in Minsk, we decided to arrange an excursion to this castle, a gorgeous place, and from the outside inside, the museum is cool, the exhibits are interesting. I was very pleased with the restaurant - borscht is above all praise . For the first time in my life, I tried draniki with sausages, it turns out now I love draniki🙂 A good souvenir shop in the castle, the prices are reasonable- especially for tinctures 😉
It was in September. Very twofold feelings after the visit. It is incredibly beautiful outside, a large territory, a pond and a majestic castle.
After entering the territory, we went to see an exhibition of wax figures. I saw it for the first time, creepy and beautiful. Judith was especially impressed.
I felt very sad about the castle. A completely commercial project. An awkward renovation that doesn't look anything like a renovation. Cheap ceramic tiles with strange and inappropriate decorations, chrome handrails. A huge amount of strange and ridiculous light. Lanterns and spotlights at every turn.
Crowds of people who can't move around the towers, queues of 20-30 minutes. There are no representatives of the administration along the way of inspection, no one oversees or distributes the flow of people.
I appreciated the furniture, which is partially represented in the castle, it's definitely worth a look.
I repeat, it is very sad. It would seem that such a serious part of Belarusian culture, historical heritage.... Ehh...
If you want an active holiday and a lot of positive emotions, you are here, you will not regret it.
I liked everything from the word absolutely everything.
The staff is friendly and friendly (there is something to compare it with).
The atmosphere is mesmerizing on the way. But primitive. There is a minimum of sophistication here. The life and everyday life of that time is what it was. Accordingly, it will be more difficult to inspect the lock in stilettos than in sports shoes. It's all narrow passageways and twisted staircases. Sometimes the extreme is even worse.
I definitely recommend going around the castle. There are bonuses there. This is not counting the gorgeous nature that surrounds this wonderful place.
Definitely do not be lazy to walk or drive around the city itself. Splendor can be found on almost every corner.
It's a very atmospheric place. It can be described for a long time. We walked around and took tickets to the internal expositions, liked the towers and the main hall. We spent 3 hours on everything, but it's just running. I do not advise taking tours to the tower too tightly, there are very narrow and steep stairs, but this has happened historically. In general, you get into the life of a medieval castle, and the music in the main courtyard also helps. I recommend.
There is a normal free Parking, near the souvenir market, where without it. The castle has a restaurant, restrooms, a gift shop, everything is in excellent condition and perfectly fits into the style of the castle. There weren't many shops, but there were enough for everyone.
I drove children and relatives visiting Belarus. A very cool place in every sense of the word! The castle is a fortress that you can explore and literally touch the history. It is clear that it is good to walk inside, but it is even more interesting to climb the castle towers. Important! Very steep and very narrow passages and steps! The shoes are comfortable and stable! Preferably pants and shorts after all. In dresses, it is as uncomfortable as possible to climb the tiers of towers or descend into the dungeon of the prison. You can take a guided tour in advance. There are audio guides on site. Basic information is provided. The toilets are good, there are several of them. There is inside the museum, there is outside. It's free inside, it's paid outside. There are also plenty of places to eat: on and off the territory. It was in summer and autumn, it was beautiful at both times.
A magnificent place, mesmerizing with its beauty. Fans of the age of knights definitely need to come here! We planned to stop by for a couple of hours, but after passing through the arch of the gate and seeing this huge square paved with massive stones, thick ancient walls and towers towering above them, it was as if we were transported back in time. From the far corner of the square, ancient Celtic-like music could be heard, which intensified the already vivid emotions to goosebumps. The smiles of admiration did not leave our faces. We wandered there all day until we visited every corner of this fascinating place. Separately, I would like to say about the steep stairs with high steps located in the walls of the castle. Climbing them is both an adventure and at the same time a test of physical fitness. How did they do it with weapons and armor? This is the question that arises when you go up.
There are a huge number of exhibits in the castle, which, to our surprise, are allowed to be photographed (for free). A lot of knight's armor, swords and other weapons. But besides that, there is something to see. Namely: magnificent, majestic architecture, fascinating views, both inside and outside the castle, a park, a pond with ducks next to it. There is a tomb behind the castle, which is also worth a visit. There is a beautiful antique-style restaurant in the basement of the castle and appropriate music is playing. It was delicious! For prices: if not often, then you can 😊 Moderate! The area around is well maintained, and the views are just awesome! The car was parked across the street in a huge parking lot. I definitely advise everyone to visit! 😊👍
An amazing place to spend the whole day with your family. A medieval castle. 5 towers made inside, like a museum. Everything has been restored. In fact, it is a new model, but very authentic. If you walk around the entire castle and enjoy the beauty of each room, it will take a whole day. Inside there is an inexpensive cafe (tea, coffee, dumplings, salads, etc.), free Parking nearby
An impressive castle, a lot of expositions and exhibits, everything is very visual and interactive. Nearby there is a huge parking lot, stalls with souvenirs and all sorts of stuff, a good cafe with excellent cuisine. Just above, in the city center, there are many different cafes, there is a bank and a pharmacy, I also recommend visiting a church and an Orthodox church, everything is clean and cozy.
After the renovation, the castle was pleased. Everything is very beautiful. And the area along the pond was put in order. The only thing that upset me was that there are very few expansions when you climb the wall and towers. The stairs are very steep, I was very afraid of heights, I did not go up to the very last floor, but those who were there said that it was empty.. there is an ordinary staircase that rises to half the height (on the wall), but it was made only for descending, which is a pity... Well, the halls in the usual halls were pleased, everything is very beautiful and interesting. There are atmospheric cafes in the basement (the children ate nuggets with French fries there, and we ordered chebureks), and a restaurant. There is an elevator in the main lobby (but I understand it is for the disabled), The overall impression is good. Tickets are not cheap... But you can choose what you want to attend. For small children, the lift is free. There is a souvenir shop on the first floor, where we bought a Crambambula (a family holiday was just planned). There are also tents with souvenirs near the parking lot, we bought magnets and bracelets, the dishes are very expensive. Almost everyone works only with cash. And one more nuance that we did not immediately understand... The toilet at the entrance to the complex is paid... And the building downstairs is free (you can go there without a ticket). There are also large pavilions on the Shchamkov territory where food is prepared (for example, kebabs). If one of the relatives or an acquaintance comes from afar, then a visit to the Mir Castle at home will definitely be included in the visit))
An interesting and atmospheric place. It is better to make an appointment (in advance) for an excursion. There are many medieval exhibits, the territory is large. Due to the narrow castle passages between the towers and other rooms, with a large number of people, there are congestion and you have to wait. People with sore knees and musculoskeletal system are not recommended to wander around the towers and the passage - high and not comfortable ladders can cause an unplanned trip to the doctor. There will be no problems with this on the tour.
Mir Castle Complex is one of the most impressive architectural landmarks of the XIV century, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It is located in the village of Mir in the Grodno region of Belarus. I definitely recommend visiting, but we were all a little upset about the prison. We thought that this would be the most interesting and left it for last, but it turned out to be a waste of time, nothing interesting, only wooden pads and shackles, we went down longer than we inspected the premises. But in general, the impressions of the visit are very good, the castle is beautifully restored, everything is clean and tidy. I'm attaching photos of the Mir Castle from the outside, and what's inside, come and see for yourself!)
An interesting and beautiful place. The lock is quite compact.
There is free parking. Inside the fortress, in the shop, you can walk around and take photos for free. Entering the museum indoors, climbing the fortress wall, even the toilet, etc. - for a fee (albeit in some places purely symbolically, but still). There are a lot of new clothes, but there is something to see.
My family and I really enjoyed it! A gorgeous place, beautiful architecture.
For a fee, you can walk along the high castle walls and towers or see the interiors. Think in advance about comfortable clothes, don't be like me😆 There are many narrow passages and steep stairs in the castle, it will be very uncomfortable to move around them in a long dress and sandals)
The entrance to the castle is free of charge. There is a beautiful park with a lake around the castle. I definitely advise you to visit this place.
A very beautiful castle with beautiful architecture and an interesting history. Inside the castle there are many rooms, each of which presents various expositions with their descriptions. The area around the castle is very picturesque, there is a small lake. Inside the castle there is a hotel, a restaurant, a souvenir shop with a variety of products for visitors. I recommend you to visit.
We are thrilled to visit this castle. A very colorful and historical place! Be prepared for the fact that the whole castle consists of very steep, brick and dark stairs, we traveled with the baby and the poet, we were asked to leave the stroller on the street in front of the entrance (it is not being monitored, so we took it to the car). It took us about 2 hours to visit the dam with climbing these stairs (we ourselves, without a tour). At one point, the legs already refused to climb, very steep stairs. We also went down to the prison, at one point such a staircase led to the castle's own church, in general, it is unusual, but once again I would not like to go through this. We wanted to have lunch at the restaurant at the castle, but the waiters informed us that the food was waiting for 1 hour and we decided to eat somewhere else.
Mir Castle is a real pearl of Belarusian architecture and history. After visiting this magnificent structure, I was surprised by its scale and beauty. The castle fascinates with its appearance. I especially remember climbing the narrow stairs of the towers. It was not only fascinating, but also a little mysterious — each staircase keeps its secrets. The surrounding landscape is also pleasing to the eye: well-maintained parks and a pond create an atmosphere of privacy and tranquility. It is an ideal place for walks and photos. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get in touch with the rich historical heritage of Belarus!
An amazing fabulous place. The territory is large and well maintained. The castle
is majestic. You feel like a real prince (princess). Purely
by chance, we decided to stay at the hotel for 2 nights and did not regret it,
we lived in a comfort room for one day, the second night in a suite. The staff is lovely
and polite. An iron and a kettle can be requested in the room. The rooms are clean
and tidy, but it would not hurt to refresh the renovation in the bathrooms (therefore, I remove one star)!
There are many impressions left and for a long time. We will definitely recommend
it to our friends!
We arrived at the castle in early November, the weather was not very good, the wind was strong, but it was warm and comfortable inside. We had a group tour with a guide. The tour is very interesting, there was no unnecessary and boring information, during the tour we were not tired or tired. The 500-year-old walls inside the castle were very impressive. After completing the guide's story, we explored the remaining halls on our own. The ticket price includes a visit to the prison room in the basement of the castle, you can climb two towers. When climbing up, there is a very narrow space where one person can fit, so we had to wait for the flow of people descending, and then climb further. The steps are high, the staircase is spiral, you need to climb very carefully. There were additional expositions on the floors that can be studied, and at the very last level of the tower there is a beautiful view. There is a souvenir shop, a restaurant on the territory of the castle, and the Mir Park with a chapel around the castle. I liked everything very much, I advise everyone to visit!
One of the best historical buildings in Belarus.
The atmosphere is definitely there. There is no collective farm restoration, everything is very realistic, it pleases. We spent about 4 hours slowly on the entire inspection. The passages in the towers are very narrow and high steps, people who have problems with movement are unlikely to rise.
On the weekend, all the more or less decent cafes and restaurants in the vicinity were closed for special service (apparently the tables were booked by tour operators) because there were a lot of buses. Consider this. Although there is an area with beer tents where pilaf and shawarma are not so aesthetically pleasing, but you can eat)). The prices are standard
I've always dreamed of getting into ancient castles.
I liked this one the most in Belarus! 🫶🏼🌺🔥🤩
Masonry, galleries, steep spiral staircases, passages and passageways, a basement kitchen and, probably, a dining room in the same place, outfits, skins, fireplaces... It's magically simple!
And also, at the very beginning, medieval music was playing softly at the entrance to the territory, my God, I closed my eyes and imagined that we were not in the 21st century - what an atmospheric idea! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Take care of this beauty.
Good afternoon! Since the last visit to Mir Castle (6 years ago), everything has changed greatly for the better, especially the area around the castle. Everything is well maintained and refined. The exposition inside the castle and the halls are also at a high level, although nothing has changed inside. I can say one thing: stability is a sign of mastery! Well done Belarusians!!! I definitely advise you to visit and breathe the air of antiquity!
A gorgeous place: a renovated castle, a beautiful park around. Climbing and descending in towers is another quest: narrow passages, steep stairs. But we really liked it. We can take an audio guide, but we didn't get it. It's probably better to take a guided tour. On the territory of the castle there is a hotel, catering points, a souvenir shop. I recommend you to visit and plunge into this atmosphere.
The most beautiful medieval castle. For those visiting it for the first time, the advice is: wear comfortable shoes without heels and comfortable clothes. Because the passages to the towers are narrow, the stairs are spiral, with steep steps, it is dark and in some places there are no handrails. If you have health problems, it is better to visit only the main halls of the palace and not go to the towers. There is a good souvenir shop at the castle, where, in addition to standard products, alcohol is sold (for example, only here they could find and buy a crambambula, as many as six options, which is represented by two manufacturers. A large selection of various linen embroideries and dresses, ceramics.
A wonderful historically picturesque place. One of the most beautiful and reference castles. Walking through it, you feel like a Disney princess)
Inside you can see different expositions, but if you decide to climb the tower, keep in mind that the stairs are very steep and narrow. But the feeling is worth it)
The parks on the castle grounds are also pleasant and have a walk.
A little more than an hour from Minsk and you will see an incredible castle. An impressive fortress and you can see this fortress from afar. Take a walk around the castle, and beyond the lake - very beautiful views are provided for you. It's more interesting on the outside than on the inside. The castle itself was impressed by the courtyard and the view from the walls. The historical interior has practically not been preserved. The exhibits are mostly copies, the originals are in other places. But, visit anyway, the history of the castle is very interesting, besides it is a UNESCO cultural heritage site.
A wonderful place, we were on a weekday with 2 children of 5 years and 1 year old. We really liked it, they didn't take excursions, the children will grow up, then we will listen to the excursions). We were in good weather, it was hot and the wind was blowing. It's just like we got into a fairy tale as we entered the courtyard. And I don't want to leave the castle a bit. Very pleasant staff, very warm attitude to children especially, and to all the guests, some moments when the children wanted to touch everything were spoken very unobtrusively, at ease, it was very pleasant. A gorgeous place, beautiful souvenirs, inexpensive. Babble, beauty. I recommend choosing a weekday with good weather.
The walk around the lake was very pleasant, like in a fairy tale. The views are very beautiful. I will never forget the warm attitude towards our children, I have never seen such a thing anywhere. Thanks a lot to the staff and everyone who is involved in the reconstruction, work in the castle!!!
It's a very beautiful place. Beautifully restored buildings and interiors. An interesting exposition of the museum. Great respect to the Belarusians who managed to restore this architectural pearl so quickly and efficiently and make it one of the cultural pearls of Belarus.
In general, there is a good exposition, weapons, armor, a lot of personal belongings, dishes. A separate tower is dedicated to the Jewish ghetto, but the exposition consists mainly of printed texts and photos in poor quality, so it is more like a prototype of a wall newspaper than an exhibition. Probably, if you read all this, it is very informative.
In addition to the floors of the castle itself, the main exposition includes towers and a basement. The towers are labyrinthine staircases and several small halls, either empty or with unremarkable exhibits. The basement is actually a small room with a shameful block, which would be a fun attraction for a roadside cafe, but somehow it's too weak for a museum. Given the stairs and passages that require physical effort, you can safely score on these extras, you will not lose anything.
I was at the time of the school holidays, the flow of visitors was large, but this, oddly enough, came as a surprise to the museum administration and no one thought of increasing the number of wardrobe workers. The only employee of the wardrobe, of course, could not cope, although she tried. The administrator also did not consider it relevant to lower any of the numerous cocktail aunts into the wardrobe. As a result, I waited in line for half an hour to hand over my clothes, which is the first time I've visited museums all over the planet in many years. In other words, the administration does not see the need to increase spending due to an increase in the number of ticket sales, which affects the overall impression. Well, let's say to ourselves, process optimization.
There is a restaurant with good cuisine and service in the basement of the castle. And, by the way, he turned out to be the only one not closed for "special maintenance" in the district.
I recommend visiting Mirsky to Nesvizh Radziwill Castle, and not vice versa.
A wonderful place to walk in the park, explore the ancient walls and ramparts. There is a restaurant with authentic cuisine and knightly decorations. There are expositions inside the castle, but since we did not come here for the first time, we did not go inside. We walked in the park and around the neighborhood. You can buy farm fruits and vegetables at the local market.
One of the most famous castles
Belarus.
Laconic and at the same time majestic landscape, strict, brutal, no frills castle.
At the same time, it is majestic. The area around is well maintained, a romantic pond in which it is forbidden to swim - people are drowning!!!!
A chapel of exquisite beauty, surrounded by a centuries-old park…
It didn't work out to spend the night ... to fully absorb the atmosphere of a medieval castle, it's a pity!
We were with our family in July 2024. Not impressed, it's monumental from the outside. But inside, although we were on an individual tour, we were not hooked. In fact, this is a cottage of a noble family. There are mostly new models and few exhibits inside. One wing operates as a museum. And walls and towers are not for the faint of heart. It is narrow, dark in places, and the most important thing is that there is no meaning and no result. Crowds of tourists make their way between each other trying to find at least something beautiful or interesting, but they do not find it. And everyone's legs hurt, the stairs are very steep. There is a crowd of tourists in the souvenir shop, there is nothing to breathe, the weather was hot (there seems to be an air conditioner, but it was not turned on), maybe so that tourists would leave faster. The place looks like it has become like in eastern countries, they invented it, painted it and for money crowds of tourists are taken to see it. Somehow it turned out that way. Thanks for attention. Good luck to everyone!
an interesting, well-maintained place. It's definitely worth a visit. I will not write in detail because there are a lot of reviews.
steep and heavy stairs to the towers. beautiful views of the castle from afar. there is a place to eat nearby. We found one paid toilet (the fact surprised us, but we didn't look for a free one - there was no time). souvenirs were sold for cash (they couldn't buy them), it's a shame because there were very interesting things.
A must-visit. Nicely. The entrance is free to the castle grounds. But it's better to take a tour where you can feel the whole atmosphere of different eras, visit from the basements to all the towers. The only route of inspection will take place along spiral stairs, take into account if you have sore legs.
A very beautiful place. The castle is very beautiful, a good educational tour, Excellent views from the towers. Cool stairs for climbing and descending to the towers, the children really liked it, but adults take care of their heads. We had a great time
An amazing place! Very atmospheric. If you are traveling in Belarus, find an opportunity to visit this castle. Everything is fascinating: architecture, decoration, exhibits, nature, the spirit of the era, cobblestones on the pavement and the ringing of swifts....
A good historical place is under UNESCO protection. You can walk around the territory, buy tickets and visit the museum. There is a parking lot, souvenir sales and a small restaurant on the castle grounds. There is also a beautiful park and a pond. Definitely worth a visit!!!
A great place, Mir castle includes excursions, the opportunity to touch antiquity, taste food in a stylized restaurant. There is even an opportunity to spend the night in the castle, there is a hotel. Souvenirs and other attributes at a makeshift bazaar
I have been planning to visit Mir Castle for a long time, and only this year, choosing Belarus as a vacation destination, I managed to realize my plans. A place with powerful energy, but you need to pay attention to the historical context, since the fate of the castle to a certain extent is the personification of the fate of the country. A rich museum is also organized, where there are many original objects from different eras. The children really enjoyed watching the castle dungeon and climbing the narrow spiral staircase to the tower. If you are in this beautiful country, be sure to visit!
It's an amazing place. Very beautiful. An interesting museum. You can climb up to the castle towers. There is a hotel in the castle, so you can stay and feel like a guest. A beautiful park near the castle walls. A great road from Minsk. We stopped by on the way to Grodno
I really liked it! It was restored magnificently! Everything is beautiful and pleasant!
It's definitely worth a trip here.
The only disadvantage is that we were not allowed to climb the castle wall with a dog. What harm a dachshund dog can do to a stone castle is completely unclear.
A very beautiful medieval castle, in which you can even live - part of the restored premises is occupied by a hotel, while most of it is reserved for a museum. In addition to the museum itself, there are combat galleries on two walls, as well as three front towers (with extremely steep spiral stairs) and small expositions on each floor
For the sake of 2 castles (Mirsky and Nesvizh), he persuaded the family to leave St. Petersburg. And it was worth it. An excellent castle, a great place to visit. The only problem was to visit 2 castles (Mir and Nesvizh) in a row. We spent 3 hours in Mirsky. There are a lot of spiral staircases, places where you can sit and explore, feel the old way of life, put on armor and fence (try in such heavy armor)). The children were very tired, but they were satisfied. Mir Castle is gorgeous. It reminded me of the castle of Amboise from France, the same medieval, honest, chivalrous. Class. I definitely recommend it!
The world is magnificent and inimitable. There are a lot of tourists in the season, but, in principle, people do not interfere with each other too much in a large area. You can arrange beautiful photo shoots. Fans can climb the towers and walls to their heart's content. At the same time, keep in mind that there is no navigation, the streams intersect, and sometimes congestion occurs in the narrowest sections.
