The main Orthodox church in Minsk. The symbol of the city. It is located in the very center of the city. It was built as a church for the Bernardine Catholic monastery in 1633-42. In 1852, the monastery moved to Nesvizh, and in 1860 the church was transferred to the Orthodox.
The stunning spirit of the temple, the main cathedral. Very beautiful, well maintained. To the left of the main royal gates is the Icon of the Mother of God of Minsk, revealed in 1500 on the banks of the Svisloch River. Not far from the temple, a memorial sign is installed directly at this place.
