Basically, the libraries have not changed. A lot of workers, a lot of extra work. They still issue pass tickets (hint: all registration can be done online through the app). Otherwise, the books are what you need, the quality of the books is good.

The library is within walking distance from Yakub Kolos Square and TSUM metro stations. On the ground floor there is a coffee shop "The Cat scientist", a wardrobe, a shelf for bookcrossing. On the second floor there is a comfortable lecture hall where various events are held.: exhibitions, lectures, concerts. Polite staff.
Very interesting exhibitions, but there is a problem with planning the time of events.
The poster says that the lecture will last from 16:00 to 18:00. Everything seems to be fine, but there is a nuance - the library itself is also open until 18:00. If you don't undress, they will send you to undress, if you undress, you will get a scolding from the cloakroom attendant (omit the details), wherever you throw, there is a wedge everywhere. You need to leave some time so that after the lecture you have time to write a review and visit the wardrobe. Actually, even nonresidents come to you, it will be expensive to go separately on another day just to leave a review.
A wonderful library! There are a lot of good books. You can take a subscription with you, you can read and work in the reading room. You can order the necessary literature. You can bring and leave your books if you don't need them anymore. Free events are often held, such as reading short stories by writers, photo exhibitions, etc.
A library with a huge selection of different literature. I even found books that I didn't expect to find. The polite staff is very pleased, they are always willing to prompt and help.

very nice staff, lots of books for every taste. only if you need to get a reader's certificate very urgently, it won't work here, it took me quite a long time to get it. and so, I advise everyone.
I went to this library as a child, now I have registered a child, and at the same time I decided to borrow books myself. Librarians are attentive and try to help as much as possible. But the assortment... alas... Very poorly (I understand that money is needed to update the fund... In general, it is very sad (We went once, chose at least something, and the next visit there is nothing to take... And I described everything so rosily to the child...
A wonderful library. There is free Internet, though with a time limit. (but if there are not many people, then you should be allowed to use the Internet as much as you need)
A good library, spacious, events are held on the second floor.Recently there was an exhibition about the royal family of Nicholas II-it really impressed us all, BE SURE to visit it when it is reopened.Various exhibitions and sales are held on the ground floor, keep an eye on the posters.
The top place in the city, nice working girls, will always help. There are many departments. You can constantly find new items on various topics. Cozy halls. A very decent library. There is a hall for francophones. You can hear Sonorus,
which is based on the 1st floor. I definitely recommend going in and getting a subscription!
A place where you want to come. There is a large selection of different literature for every taste in the subscription room.they always serve promptly. It's so cool to read a book in the evening instead of hanging on the phone.Calms the nerves.I advise you to sign up!
A very awesome tour about Nicholas II and his family, interesting, with many previously unknown facts from the biography of the royal family, emotional. At the end, tears come right down. The director of the library is in charge. Thank you Natalia Nikolaevna!
I only attended a foreign subscription. There is a sufficient selection of literature in English, both scientific and educational. As far as I know, there is more literature in English and French. There are rare dictionaries. At the first visit or the beginning of the calendar year, do not forget your passport
My Favorite Library. There is a very large selection of books, a lot of modern literature, including popular science. I really like the atmosphere inside.
How it looks from the outside can be seen in the photo. An older woman was sitting at the reception and was checking me out with the same speed as the sloth in the cartoon "zveropolis". 30-40 minutes. There is no terminal, I had to go and look for where to withdraw money. It was hot, I was wearing shorts, there are older women in every department, everyone needs to look and express their opinion about shorts and bare shorts. I came to get a book, not to listen to an opinion that no one needs.
I think everyone will find books, there is a choice
There are many new books on various topics, and various events are being held. There is an English language course in the foreign department.
Of course, the library does not impress with its facade and internal contents, but the departments are being renovated and become very pleasant to find. you can find something to read) You go in for one book, and you come out with a packed backpack. =)
A good library, an excellent hall of foreign literature and especially the French library at the French Embassy. there are many different activities in the language. The interiors of the library themselves are a bit old, it would be necessary to update them. It is very conveniently located--the metro is nearby.
This library has a good department of foreign literature. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy, because a lot of people come there for consultations on the French language. It is very pleasant to communicate with young librarians, but after talking with older employees, an unpleasant aftertaste remains.
