The building of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus is a historical building of the mid-20th century in Minsk, an architectural monument. The building was built in the style of Stalinist neoclassicism. The building is four-storeyed, with a high ground floor (side extensions are five-storeyed). The main facade is decorated with a number of massive semi-columns for the entire height of the building. The walls of the facade are rusticated to a height of two floors. The developed entablature has a toothed shape, repeating the massive bases of the columns, whose height is more than 2 meters. A large prominent cornice is supported by brackets in the form of volutes. In the center of the facade there is a relief coat of arms of the BSSR. Inside, the building has a corridor layout with a two-sided arrangement of rooms. The staircases are decorated with columns and pilasters, the ceilings are decorated with stucco rosettes. A large two-light meeting room is located in the middle part of the building, between the courtyards.
