We visited the Erebuni History Museum. The oldest object, the cultural heritage of the history of the region, Armenia and, in general, the cultural heritage for the whole world. It is impossible to express the horror of the state in which this object is now. There won't be enough photos. The most ancient paintings on the remains of the walls are all mutilated by tourists (inscriptions in the likeness of Stepa and Vasya were scratched out here) tourists climb the remains of the fortress walls, which are not even fenced, sit on the walls, run over them and absolutely no supervision!!! Such an attitude towards cultural and historical value is simply inexcusable. Nothing is fenced. The stands with information about the objects are completely erased, it is difficult to read. Where is the Ministry of Culture looking? Start small, change the stands so that tourists can read and understand what a unique place they are in! Install wall fences so that they do not climb the preserved walls of the fortress. It is a very strange attitude to such a historical value.
