A landmark historical building in Antalya. Everything is clean, beautiful, there are staff - free entrance, there is a toilet. There is a small souvenir market and a supermarket nearby.

If you're interested in history and antiquity, you'd better take a guided tour. You can wander around on your own. I recommend.

The minaret has an ancient history. Once upon a time there was a temple erected by the Romans, which was later turned into a Byzantine basilica. The mosque appeared here at the turn of the XV-XVI centuries. At the end of the XIX century, as a result of a lightning strike (one of the versions), a fire occurred that destroyed the wooden dome of the building. Therefore, the name of the building is translated as "Truncated minaret".
