Waiter did up selling and we ordered so much various food. We asked to pack leftovers but they did not put everything. Also “Kyalagyosh” was an improvise and had nothing common with original. A lot of lavash and it’s all.

Worst experienc ever. Worst service in my life. Asked to move to other place in mid time as they have made mistake and other people need to come, but we have booked exactly the table we wanted beforehand. Rude and incompetent

Absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional staff.
We called at 12:00 to book a table for 15:00. They told us, there's no need to book anything, because they have much space, and everything gonna be ok. When we arrived, they said they don't serve, and they can't have us.
Spent 30 minutes to reach them for nothing 🥲
And still they argued with us at the place, and provided nothing.
Unbelievable and irresponsible.
Bought advertising in social media and from bloggers, but didn't buy basic common sense in the restaurant industry.
Won't be back for sure.
Not recommended.

A great and unusual place for meetings and celebrations. The house on the edge of the gorge has been converted into a restaurant. The view is very beautiful from the summer terrace and the covered glass gazebos, which are closed and warmed in winter and in the cold season. I liked the food, staff and service. We were there in early March. I'm thinking of going once more in the summer.

Definitely, one of the most vivid impressions after a second visit to Armenia is the Mika Tun restaurant! This place is known and visited exclusively by locals, booking tables very much in advance. It seems to me that I have never eaten anything tastier!
The views of the ancient church, the river and the gorge are simply fantastic! I want to stay there forever)
It is worth noting that the restaurant is located on the site of the former home of one of the richest residents of beautiful Armenia. I advise you to walk through the garden, take the elevator down to the ancient church and enjoy the views and cuisine!
I will definitely come again)

A very nice place! Starting with the design of the space, the interior – everything is made in the same style and is very suitable for stunning landscapes that you can admire from the open balconies – you can also have lunch there! You can go down to the picturesque gorge by a vintage mechanical elevator – 10 minutes, and you will be at the old chapel! The staff is very nice, the food was brought quickly and it was very tasty. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

In general, everything is fine, the place is good. The food is delicious, the service is good. The scenery is beautiful, the interior is beautiful, but mostly they do not work quickly: even if you book in advance, you still need to wait. (at the expense of free tables, employees always do not have accurate information, you always have to wait on the spot until they find an empty seat)

It's amazing, exciting, while the insanely delicious food is being prepared, you can plunge into the whole journey. An unusual elevator sends you down to the canyon from where you can enjoy an amazing view. Special thanks to the restaurant staff for organizing congratulations to the child - with such warmth and soul. We returned 3 days in a row, although it was a 30-minute one-way trip

For those who come to Armenia, it is necessary to visit! At the top of the canyon, at the bottom of which a mountain river flows and horses graze, local flavor and national cuisine, divine "trout with veneer" and very tasty "dolma", gardens and verandas. A family place made with love! It is suitable for both a family dinner, a romantic dinner and a chic wedding!

The food was pleasantly surprised — tolma and Khorovac are generally beyond praise!

A very interesting restaurant is located on the edge of a huge gorge. Near the ancient monastery of the 4th century Hovhannavank in the Ashtarak district of Armenia. Good cuisine, courteous staff, picturesque location. I recommend it!

A very good restaurant, with stunning views, very tasty and varied cuisine, and helpful staff!
Gevorg very kindly put us on the balcony, at the very table that we were stabbing (we had recommendations from previous visitors) we ordered a delicious barbecue! They brought it quickly, the waitress (unfortunately, I can make a mistake, in my opinion, too, Gevorg) served very carefully and kindly! And another big plus is live music! Listening to a live violin, having a delicious dinner in such a good restaurant with a beautiful view of the gorge - what else is needed for a good rest. Super, super, super!!!!

An honest review about Mika Tun!
Of the advantages:
Delicious food
Beautiful view with panoramic windows
Inexpensive
Of the cons:
The service is very mediocre for such a place, they brought warm white wine and forgot to bring ice twice. We've been waiting for fish for a sooo long time.. We were not warned about this. We waited probably an hour or an hour and a half.
In general, if you want to go so far for the sake of mediocre service)) in general, it is beautiful, of course, but nothing special! Someone who is used to the service will not come in 😉

It takes 40 minutes by car from Yerevan , we arrived at a beautiful place where we barely found a table (when it started raining , we were the last to be transplanted ) we ordered 4 portions of lamb - we waited an hour - disgusting 🤮 the meat is dry and salty . You can 't break it with two hands . They showed the waiter - they said mutton is not very good in Armenia . Great thanks, but it was impossible to say when ordering? And recommend something else ? No one ate 4 people . The pomegranate wine was terrible. They left hungry and upset . In any diner or dining room, a kitchen is better. We 've wasted our time . Gasoline.The meat was deducted from the bill . But for the lemonades. Bread and wine were paid 15t drams . We ate bread thanks....a restaurant with such a location and view..... And this kind of cuisine is the worst place in Armenia

A beautiful location near the restaurant, without Yandex.maps, I would not have thought that in the private sector you can find a pleasant green oasis. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is full of visitors, but the place was found without reservation. I liked the food. We were located on an open balcony, the view of the gorge with the Kesakh river was impressive. We'll come again.

We were in the restaurant today, fell for advertising from bloggers, a picturesque place, the nature is beautiful, but the food and the wait was long and not tasty.
We drove from Yerevan for 45 minutes, and waited for the dish for 50 minutes. We ordered a loin of lamb and lamb ribs, brought some bones, the meat was salted, the loin was rubber, the meat was raw somewhere, burnt somewhere. The pita bread was rubbery to taste, pomegranate wine and citrus lemonade were not delicious (orange juice diluted with water).
We didn't try any other dishes, but the impression of the place remained bad.

A wonderful place in a picturesque gorge and fantastic cuisine, we were among the first visitors to this place, celebrating a friend's birthday with a company of 10-12 people. Incredibly delicious food (especially meat dishes), coupled with a glass of strong homemade alcohol, will not leave you indifferent to this place!!! They also showed the hotel rooms, very clean, beautiful and on a grand scale. In addition, a small but important nuance: the doors in the main kitchen are transparent, which subconsciously caused a pleasant feeling of openness. Everything is clean and fragrant around. I am happy to share this review with those who stumbled upon this institution and plan to visit it!

I was in this restaurant for the first time, and everything was excellent. The food was very tasty, especially the meat and desserts. But I want to single out our waitress.՝
Great job Shushanik. He was very attentive, came up with a smile, helped with the selection and was always available when we needed it. His warm attitude really made our evening more enjoyable. I will definitely come again.

Dear Owners of this object, remove your Manager or administrator from work, I do not know who she is! They called in advance and asked if there were places on the balcony. She said yes! We arrived at 08/21/24 14:40 looked at the seats, asked for 4 seats, she said they were all occupied ! All 4 seats were occupied at 16.00 and 16.30! So let's sit down, have a quick meal and leave ! To which they were refused , they said then go to the arbors in the garden ! A blonde girl with a folder and a notebook in her arms ! It 's just terrible what the attitude towards customers is !!! After such workers, I don't want to come to this restaurant!

Whether it was because they were not local, it is unclear) the restaurant manager was unhappy that we had not warned about our arrival in advance, although the restaurant was almost completely empty. They didn't put us upstairs when everything was free and only one table was occupied. Fortunately, at least they let us take a picture, and then they immediately ran up and started asking what we needed.) nearby, the only table in the entire restaurant was occupied: by a man with children and his wife)
They agreed to transplant it when they were free, but it never happened. The view is beautiful — that's all that pleased the establishment, although we didn't quite have time to enjoy it)

If it were possible to put 0, I would put zero!! We arrived on WEDNESDAY, at the barrier we were told that we need to make a reservation for a table in a restaurant, although their page does not say so! The guard said there are a lot of people here on weekends. But what does everyday life have to do with it?!???!!! after waiting a few minutes for availability, we were told to leave the car in some village and then walk from the barrier to the restaurant (about 300 m)!!! WITH TWO SMALL CHILDREN!! That's not why we drove for an hour to leave without even entering the territory!!

I shoot reviews of establishments in Armenia, as soon as I saw a new restaurant, I immediately arrived. I really liked the atmosphere - these views, the restaurant itself, a large area where you can walk, you can go down to the chapel. The food is also very tasty, I recommend everyone to try the fish! The waiters are attentive. In general, the staff is very polite. We got there in 30 minutes from Yerevan. The place is great, suitable for celebrations 👍
