Well, what can I say when passengers are taken to the plane in a bus in which the handles are tied with tape, the air conditioner is forgotten, and the bus itself is about to fall apart. And apparently there is no second big bus, because the second bus is customized in the form of an urban two-door semi-low floor (!!!) A Yutong without air conditioning, with burned-out lamps and generally it is not clear where it came from.
We were at this airport in connection with a transfer. It was necessary to walk for 6 hours before the next flight, but, imagine, there is no luggage storage at this airport, although the airport is in transit!!! I had to arrange at the mini-store to leave my luggage for a while, and not go to the city with it. And then, we were warned that the shift shift at 12 may be closed, then we will have to wait. This is terrible
I really liked the courtyard in front of the airport, a small and pretty airport. You will definitely find a way out and an entrance, everything is clear. It's nice to come to a city where it's warm)))
On an international flight, we waited for customs officers for 2 hours. That's why the flight was delayed. But we arrived in Moscow on time, the crew was good.
We left on 03/02/24 by Aeroflot airline. Due to the clock change, the flight was postponed an hour earlier, there were no notifications about it, and we decided that everything would be on schedule.
In general, we arrived at the airport 10 minutes before the check-in deadline. Thanks to the Aeroflot team and personally to Nikolai (I hope I was not mistaken in the name), they helped with all the difficulties, with problematic luggage, and treated the situation very well. We also got very good seats on the planes (we flew with a transfer).
In general, all airport staff are responsive and friendly! A lot of flights behind my back, I can say that this is a rarity.
With best wishes!
The girl's performance is very low, especially since the staff of Skat are gathered in the same room and talking, the posadochny asked me to take out the coupon, and the curiosity I saw when I went to the exit білмейді️does not even know how to answer correctly
A very small airport for a city of one million people, check-in for flights at one counter in turn for different flights, there are few counters. You will not immediately enter the waiting room until the previous flight departs. If there are several flights in one day, then the waiting room is full.
A city with a million people in a fairly rich country should still have a more modern airport. The territory is well maintained. The terminal and the service are so-so
Everyone is looking forward to the opening of the new terminal. And the old one, this is a parody of the airport, has long outlived its usefulness, small and cramped...
It's not a big airport, which is convenient, you don't have to run around looking for your flight. The staff is polite and helpful, clean and comfortable, the waiting room is not large, which is very convenient, in a word, not a bad airport. I recommend
I flew from Dubai to Shymkent airport twice, but it was a long time ago, last year my sister and her family flew to Turkey, went out to meet my nephew, the airport is changing for the better, but much more needs to be done to bring Shymkent airport to a new level to meet international standards. Good luck to you neighbors!
I'm going to fly from a new airport for the first time. At first glance, I liked everything, cleanliness, spaciousness, design. Especially sweet frappuccino😍, let us have a successful trip!
Convenient transportation to the airport - 12 bus. I got out and immediately stopped. If there is no local fare on the phone, and the arrival is at night, the girls at the nearest store will call an inexpensive taxi. Migration control is very long, but it is at all airports.
An old airport (domestic airlines) operating at the limit of its capacity. There are cafes inside the clean zone, but the prices are high.
It takes at least 30 minutes to get to the city, and even more during rush hours.
The staff service is high, the waiting room is well equipped, the waiting time is clear, the halls are clean, the terminals are functioning, the eurocirculation is made, the service is in English and other languages.
A very good airport, everyone is good-natured, the only thing is it is small, but there is more service at a small airport than in Almaty, Shymkent deserves to keep it that way.
Well, everything seems to be intuitively clear there, but it looks more like some kind of railway station than an airport, it is better to arrive there registered and close to departure, the atmosphere does not have to be there
A small box, an arrivals hall, in general, 3 seats, I'm waiting for the new, old terminal to open, very small, nowhere to sit, nothing to do, for a city with a population of 1 million, it's just a small box, even the museum in Shymkent is bigger than the airport.
The airport is small, but in general everything is convenient. I came from Tashkent several times to fly to Istanbul. Ticket prices were cheaper than from Tashkent
A wonderful city! I liked it very much. I recommend visiting

One of the worst airports I've ever been to. It looks more like a small bus station than an international airport. The dining room is located separately, there are no sensible grocery stores or cafes in the building itself. A more or less normal waiting room is only in the international flight area. The rest is a bazaar.
A separate remark to the border guard, who for some reason, asking questions during passport verification and registration, allows himself to "poke" a stranger. I didn't remember his name - he looks like Bishimbayev. With my question about how much cash I was carrying, I probably thought that I would share it with him, hinting at a bribe from scratch. A completely inappropriate question. This has never been asked anywhere. In general, unpleasant types work here.
Those who complain about the old terminal of Almaty airport have probably never been to Shymkent. I hope I won't have to visit Shymkent again. Such people spoil the whole impression.
The flight is excellent, but not very good))). There are long queues for customs clearance, I hope everything will improve with the launch of the new terminal.
An ordinary regional airport. It is very small, of course, but the staff are friendly, there is a small water-juice store, it is very dirty on the street in front of the airport, cigarette butts, cans...I take off the stars for this
Both airports meet the requirements of the time! Only it would be necessary to expand the food store for customers! In Shymkent, there is only a coffee shop with low prices....and so they function perfectly!
Not the port, the passage from the street to the runway. Outdated , unfortunately , mentally and physically, the desire to move to a new port building as soon as possible.
Well, to be honest, it's not very comfortable and clean, the waiting room stinks of cigarette smoke due to the fact that the smoking room is apparently incorrectly located and ventilation does not work. It's very stuffy, the check-in counters are small and there aren't many of them at all, the crowd is climbing on top of each other .... Sad
It's so small, but they manage to work slowly. The customs control zone - not all points are always working. Sometimes there are such queues that you can recline there.
We arrived at 3 o'clock in the morning. At least the guard was left on duty. Otherwise, not a soul. Scary.
You could use a repair. Many international flights fly through Shymkent. The face of the city, but so terrible.
