For such a cool city, it was possible to have a more serious airport. Although...it seems that something is being built nearby, most likely an airport.. cafes and snacks are stressful at the airport. It's not very tasty.
Village. It resembles the Siberian airports of the 90s.
I was in transit. There are a lot of people from different flights in the drive, but there is only one exit. There are no cafes inside there. But there are a lot of chairs.
There is not even a storage room. Passengers arrive in advance for night flights, and the waiting room is small, it does not accommodate everyone. To go out (to leave) for a snack, you need to carry your luggage with you.
The airport is old and does not correspond to the current reality. The third city of the country, in my philistine opinion, deserves to have a more spacious and modern air harbor. Being the base of one of the largest airlines in the country, the airport could have a more attractive appearance and service.
Over the past couple of years, it seems to have been renovated, but this is still the smallest and fastest airport I've ever been to! There is not even a water shop in the waiting room. There is not a single sleeve at the airport, so boarding and disembarking is only via bus. The attitude towards people is appropriate: we were held for more than half an hour at night in the cold in an open bus, we could not go to the boarding in any way! They were not allowed back into the hall, they say, now the latecomers will come and we will go right away. As a result, the whole family came down with a fever for a week after such a trip!
Excellent airport, good staff, cleanliness was observed in the waiting room, smart parking system, boarding was on time without delay, flight prices are acceptable
It is very crowded when several flights are going to have nowhere to sit at all, inconvenient check-in, little informative on departures. For such a big city, it's high time to improve the air gates.
The airport is too small for such a big city, they say they are building a new one. And this one is a relic of the scoop. But the staff is working well, there are no questions.

The worst airport I've ever seen. The scoreboard is not turned on, therefore, there is no information whether the plane arrived or was delayed. There are no ads either. There are no signs when driving towards the airport. There is only one small arrival hall inside, in which there is one coffee machine. All.
On October 9, I flew from Shymkent airport to Almaty, at the check-in desk, Dauytbaeva Ulbosyn got used to my hand luggage and started talking very rudely to me so that I left my things (overweight of 2 kg, which I doubt, I flew out of Almaty as well and there was no overweight), I paid for the overweight! Shymkent airport is always rude, crowded, and hot! and so it always is! I don't notice any changes for the better!
The staff is not qualified, waiting for the aircraft a / b Scat with a delay of 6 hours, the bogage pass system is not established. Registration cannot be done in advance, and the system is often buggy at the time of boarding. The air conditioning does not work at the airport. And on the plane, the stewards are not very responsive and friendly! No more when you don't set foot there. Only border and customs control work perfectly, they have no complaints!
Firstly, it is too small for such a city, secondly, there is no information on the screens, and thirdly, there is no namazkhana (there is one at the Almaty airport)
A small, cozy airport. Everyone seems to be polite, the navigation is clear where to go and what to do.
It is better to eat before the visit, there is nowhere to eat.
Well, we almost all fly. What happened before and now is of course the difference between heaven and earth. But do we really have an alternative? Just go to Almaty or Tashkent. Although there is a very interesting point here that it is not impossible to get lost here. Due to the fact that it is small in itself and there is no need to run around the floors and look for your terminal.
A good airport, air conditioning is small and cozy, the staff is friendly and understanding. It would be nice to have an exchange so that rubles can be changed into tenge if necessary
The airport is small, but very convenient. Especially those who are flying on a plane for the first time. You will find everything and find out without difficulty. It is very convenient.
