For me, this is a very unusual airport: as such, there is no single airport building, all buildings are single-storey, mostly very compact. The waiting area actually consists of two parts: under the roof and in the "fresh" air. I really liked this second part: a beautiful green area bordered by a pond. Fish live in the pond, and birds live in the trees, which sometimes even fly under the roof (it's easy to fly in and out there, since the supporting structures are not solid, there are no doors, windows either, which guarantees free movement for any birds). In general, everything is done here so that you can spend a lot of time without strain. I really liked it.

A wonderful, beautiful airport on the island.Koh Samui outdoors. The roof, of course, is present) There are many cafes and shops. But in the registration area (there is only a roof), it's a little hot to queue, because there are only fans on poles, which do not really save in the Thai heat.

Small and cozy, there is a business lounge, drinks and snacks are free. Thanks, I enjoyed everything very much. Helpful staff, clean toilet. Comfortable tables and chairs
