- polite. A small minus is the taxi driver "mafia", just get ready that you cannot order a taxi to the airport via the Internet (but the prices are still acceptable). I arrived with a dog - no problems (if you follow the procedures).
Ps: If you need a veterinary certificate, it can be done in many places; the veterinarian drove up to us himself, thank him more.

For info: many people carry honey from Issyk-Kul - it is allowed only in luggage, even thickened. From a security point of view, this is the right thing to do, just keep in mind not to shift in a hurry.

A small airport within walking distance from the highway. Behind the highway is the lake itself. Polite staff of the airport itself. Free toilet and Wi-Fi. From the street there is a gorgeous view of the lake and the mountains from the other side. The shore of the lake near the airport is sandy. A narrow strip of some trees stretches along the birch. There are probably 2 covered stops for buses or minibuses near the airport on the busy highway during the day.

It is good that this airport has been opened. It became convenient. But customs, passport control, are disgusting. It's been a long time since I've come across such an inhumane relationship. There is a huge queue, one person is sitting in the window, sleeping, stamping passports. The second one came, but nothing has changed, it has not become faster.
It is clear that they have little to do with the airport, but they can influence this, request additional forces from the authorities for customs procedures, but for some reason they do not do this or do not persistently.
You can't even buy water inside the airport, because there is only one point of sale that works as it wants.

Nice little airport. There are direct flights to Moscow and other cities of the Russian Federation and neighboring Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The staff is polite, they work promptly. Due to the small area of the waiting room, mourners are not allowed inside. During takeoff, a gorgeous view of Issyk Kul and Ala-Too.

Mourners are not allowed at all, referring to the small hall of the registration area. They help with the suitcase for those who ask, but we had to check for overweight and unload if necessary. I was not ready to go back and forth in case of an advantage. At the same time, the place where you can unpack a suitcase together is very small, all the mourners crowd there and there is nowhere to go. But just in the registration hall it is. The staff is not included in the provision, they cannot refer to the norm that regulates such a rule. When asked to show documentation, they refuse to help. Information about the fact that you can not see off on the site is not provided.
I will add separately that the phone number of the Manas airport help desk (here is a branch), presented on the website, does not work at all.

It's quite difficult to call it an airport, because it's just a small building with a runway. You can only go here if you plan to spend all your time on Lake Issyk-Kul or the cost of air tickets is 5 times cheaper compared to Bishkek. In other cases, there is no point in flying here. There is no infrastructure. You can only leave by taxi, for example, a full taxi to Bishkek costs from 3,000 to 4,000 som (depending on the condition of the car). If you take a minibus taxi, where 7-8 people are taken, then the fare will cost 600 som. Currency exchange is a small stall that is located on the street. You can pay for a taxi in rubles or local som (cards are not accepted anywhere, there are no ATMs)
Taxis leave due to occupancy, or you can pay, for example, for several places to go alone in your row.
Sim cards of the local operator Oh! are also sold on the street for about 200 rubles (in fact, these SIM cards should be free). It takes about 3 hours to get to Bishkek. They are brought to the eastern bus station.
If you are going to fly out of this airport, then you need to arrive almost at the landing, otherwise you will be waiting outside.

But it is small, if there are 2 flights on departure or arrival, then this is a collapse.
It is quite comfortable with one flight.
There is an exchanger behind the fence, the exchange rate is normal. You can also take a taxi, but it's better to order one.
