The airport is large, multi-level. Fully corresponds to the political and economic status of the city of Mumbai. The people we contacted were friendly and gave us full information.

The airport is very large, but everything is quite conveniently done. I didn't get confused, because there were always signs where and how to go. Even when exiting the airport, I easily found a taxi parking spot and a pre-paid taxi.
I was lucky in the security area and there weren't a lot of people. Everything went smoothly. The interiors and design solutions at the airport itself are very beautiful and will not let you forget that you have arrived in fabulous India. The toilets at the airport itself are clean and not squeamish.
It is possible to purchase a SIM card and exchange cash for local currency. There are shops for those who want to have a snack.

When traveling in India (Delhi, Agra, Varanasi, Jaipur, Mumbai), I liked this airport the most. Both architecturally and in terms of comfort and aesthetics

I flew on 08/13.24 on a flight from Mumbai to Sharjah.
The route during this period of the off-season is not easy, as regular flights have not been launched.There was a printout of the entire route on hand, i.e. it is clear and understandable that there are many transfers and the path is not close...The tickets indicate 10 kg of luggage, I have only hand luggage with me.It contains a cosmetic bag, a winter jacket, winter shoes, gadgets/chargers and some food in a 20×20 cm container. When boarding my flight, very unfriendly airport workers abruptly stopped me and began weighing not only hand luggage, but also a handbag. Since this is not the first flight on my route, my manual.luggage has been weighed more than once, but this is the first time a handbag has been weighed.According to their fake weights, it turned out to be 5 kg overweight!At the same second, at a speed unusual for Indians, a girl "appeared" next to me with a transaction device in full readiness to accept money.Without hesitation, I opened my bag and put on a down jacket and a winter coat.boots.The reaction of the employees is complete indignation at such resourcefulness of the passengers. But I still didn't understand: what does it matter to them?? Additional payment for harmfulness?They weighed everything again, but took away the container with the food.And, of course, they were not at all interested in my health and the fact that I said that due to gastrointestinal problems I had a special regime and diet and that it was dangerous to leave me without food for such a long time. Thank God I had nuts in my pocket and I was able to survive.But I drew conclusions for myself. *Fa=Shism has reached India!
