Beautiful and fantastic airport - very good suit domestic and international trips! My favourite place of arrival / departure named Chatrapati Shivadhi! Very much recommended!!
The airport is large, multi-level. Fully corresponds to the political and economic status of the city of Mumbai. The people we contacted were friendly and gave us full information.
The airport is very large, but everything is quite conveniently done. I didn't get confused, because there were always signs where and how to go. Even when exiting the airport, I easily found a taxi parking spot and a pre-paid taxi.
I was lucky in the security area and there weren't a lot of people. Everything went smoothly. The interiors and design solutions at the airport itself are very beautiful and will not let you forget that you have arrived in fabulous India. The toilets at the airport itself are clean and not squeamish.
It is possible to purchase a SIM card and exchange cash for local currency. There are shops for those who want to have a snack.
When traveling in India (Delhi, Agra, Varanasi, Jaipur, Mumbai), I liked this airport the most. Both architecturally and in terms of comfort and aesthetics
- Easy navigation
- There is a lot of greenery, a cafe and there is a fountain.
- Very clean (even in the WC)
- There is no abundance of carpets)
I flew on 08/13.24 on a flight from Mumbai to Sharjah.
The route during this period of the off-season is not easy, as regular flights have not been launched. There was a printout of the entire route on hand, i.e. it is clear and understandable that there are many transfers and the path is not close...The tickets indicate 10 kg of luggage, I have only hand luggage with me.It contains a cosmetic bag, a winter jacket, winter shoes, gadgets/chargers and some food in a 20×20 cm container. When boarding my flight, very unfriendly airport workers abruptly stopped me and began weighing not only hand luggage, but also a handbag. Since this is not the first flight on my route, my manual.luggage has been weighed more than once, but this is the first time a handbag has been weighed.According to their fake weights, it turned out to be 5 kg overweight! At the same second, at a speed unusual for Indians, a girl "appeared" next to me with a transaction device in full readiness to accept money.Without hesitation, I opened my bag and put on a down jacket and a winter coat.boots.The reaction of the employees is complete indignation at such resourcefulness of the passengers. But I still didn't understand: what does it matter to them?? Additional payment for harmfulness? They weighed everything again, but took away the container with the food. And, of course, they were not at all interested in my health and the fact that I said that due to gastrointestinal problems I had a special regime and diet and that it was dangerous to leave me without food for such a long time. Thank God I had nuts in my pocket and I was able to survive. But I drew conclusions for myself. *Fa=Shism has reached India!
A convenient, clean, comfortable airport. A very thorough check before the flight. I had to literally put everything out of my backpack. The lighter was taken away
My opinion is that this air hub needs to be thoroughly developed and brought up to the international level, as, say, in Beijing.
Yet Mumbai is the financial and business capital of India.
I liked the airport, but you need to understand that if there is no printed ticket, or a saved or printed document with the flight number, security will not let you into the airport. Just a passport wasn't enough.
Everything is fine, except for the taxi driver who wanted to earn too much money from me for moving between terminals. As a result, I drove it for free)
If you want to see how people eat on the floor, then you are here. And we also came to the flight, And the flight was canceled and hello. Do whatever you want. The fir trees flew away after a few hours of scandal.
The airport is large, the security service and border guards, customs are all in one person, very strict, they take away cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, lighters, stabbing objects, water from hand luggage. If they passed, the flight was a success.
I don't even know what to say, a large airport! As everywhere there are shops, food outlets and places to relax. There is a place to change money at a not very favorable rate, so it is better to stock up on local currency in advance. Well, souvenirs can be bought, though more expensive than in the shops of the city. I liked it! I don't know when I'll be able to visit Mumbai again, but it would be great
Surprisingly good. But when entering the street in the heat of 40, they verify tickets and electronic registration. This is very important!!! They won't let you in if you don't.

A clear and generally convenient airport. Entering it is a separate quest due to additional document verification, but overall everything is fine.
Mumbai. I fell in love with them. Not everyone likes it, not everyone comes in, but I recommend visiting and the first thing you will see is the airport. He's so nice.
The worst international airport, I haven't seen such darkness for a long time, everything is dirty, stinks, flies fly, if possible, it's better not to touch anything
It's huge, 10 floors, and a very beautiful airport, but it's hard to get lost there, airport workers are everywhere and tell you where you need to go.There are a lot of parking lots and taxis..
The airport is not bad. As everywhere in India, you cannot enter without a ticket / boarding pass. The floors are reinforced with carpets. Duty free is available, but not cheap. The navigation is clear
The airport is large, with several terminals. Not everything is familiar and transparent, but it's not difficult to figure it out in general (well, if nothing, then airport staff are ready to help). It is comfortable to wait if the flight is delayed. There are enough places. There are places where you can have a snack, buy souvenirs, smoke, and just take a walk.
Nothing special. To enter the airport, you must present tickets or boarding passes. You just can't get in here. I think it has to do with anti-terrorism measures. There's nothing special inside. In the zone, dutifrey was unable to exchange bucks for rupees. The most terrible thing is in the arrival area. It takes a very long time to go through passport control due to fingerprinting. It is a very tedious and long procedure. As a result, there are huge queues. Especially when several flights arrive in a row. You can stand for 3 hours. And then also when leaving the baggage claim area. In short, this is a tin.
One of the most beautiful airports, especially after the Mumbai horror) There is a mafia of taxis and tuktukers - you can run into a scandal if you take it from the outside. And the entrance is not particularly convenient. In short, Asia)
A very large airport, everything is very difficult and you can get lost, I walked for almost 6 hours at the airport, the photo was taken on January 19, 2020
It is the largest Indian airport.Comfortable waiting rooms! The airport consists of two terminals: internal and external (international). 46 foreign airlines are served here.

It's noisy, it's cold as hell, there are no places, it's utter horror
