The hotel overlooks the port. It's pretty dirty around, but authentic. We walked during the day, it's safe. There are few Europeans, mostly locals.
I give three stars for the fact that we were checked in at 5 a.m. at no extra charge. However, the room is on the ground floor, the Windows are in the ground. It was very dirty, but the flight was so exhausting that we lay down and fell asleep. In the afternoon, we were moved to an upstairs room, a towel was barely knocked out, one for two.
There are very nice people at the reception, but this does not exclude dirt in the rooms.
The receptionist was very helpful in calling a tuk-tuk and taxi, the prices are much lower. So she suggested where you can exchange money.
