Probably the most famous temple in Tbilisi. It is picturesquely located on the steep bank of the Kura River, next to the monument to the founder of the city Vakhtang Gorgasali and an observation deck. It is believed that the modern temple building was built in the XVII–XVIII centuries.

A beautiful temple, from the upper tier, where it is located, there is a great view of the old town area and the Kura, from below you can go down to the chapel right by the water
