If you understand what to expect from a 4* hotel, then everything is quite good. I'll start with the pros:
1.Location - the hotel is very conveniently located in terms of transportation, pharmacies and shops. There is an opportunity to take a bus to different parts, including Nova Mall and antique Side. You need to walk to the beach in 15 minutes or take a shuttle (runs regularly)
2. the beach and the beach bar have a sufficient number of sun beds, the entrance to the sea is sandy, the bar is quite diverse in food and cakes are baked. Drinks: beer, tea, lemonade and juice
3. The rooms are spacious enough, everything works, although not "fresh". At the expense of noise, rooms facing the road are not the best option, they are worn there all night. Or buy earplugs at a pharmacy
4. food - the food is varied, but adjusted for 4*. The chefs are great, they're always coming up with something. Some days they make shawarma, then they grill fish, then something else. They always bake fresh tortillas in the morning. Ice cream every night and as much as you want.
5 desserts are beyond praise, just bombastic and varied.
6 nice pool with sun loungers and a slide in the courtyard
Towels are provided for the beach
7. The pedestrian promenade is within walking distance and it goes to the ancient Side - a great place for evening walks.
On the cons:
1. The Russian language is just a problem, learn German, everyone speaks it here as if it were their native language. On the one hand, and no matter how modern means solve this issue, but - all the animation (there is enough of it every evening) is in German! Therefore, in the evening, either to the embankment, or to the antique Side, or various other options.
2 they smoke wherever possible - there are tables around the pool, Germans are sitting behind them and everyone is smoking, smoking on the beach, smoking on the balconies. Moreover, they don't smoke electronic nipples, but cigarettes, which are often very smelly. Therefore, only lovers of tobacco smoke can have breakfast (lunch, dinner) at tables along the pool. It's more difficult on the beach, but you can drag the sunbed to the very end of the beach.
Overall, the hotel may not be the best, but it is ideally suited for the price-quality ratio. The sea in Side is magnificent, with sandy beaches
We stayed at this hotel in September 2021. Nice, quiet, small hotel. There were 8 nights in a standard room.
Minuses:
1) at first they wanted to move us into a lower-class room, but everything was quickly resolved.
2) we lost one room key, the replacement cost $ 10 (but we found it and returned the money)
3) the staff did not speak Russian, but also English with difficulty ...
Pros:
Food:
1) Normal food, especially grilled dinners, fish, sausages (breakfast and lunch seemed monotonous to me)
2) Own food on the beach - burgers, watermelon, ice cream (all from 12:00) + water and cocktails in the morning.
3) at 16:00, a donut shop was opened near the pool.
Place:
1) the street where the hotel is located is a large market, from slate to good lukum. There is a pharmacy and a carrefour (supermarket where you can exchange currency for lira) 100 meters away
2) there is a minibus stop 50 meters away to Manavgat or the center of Side.
3) Your own beach, sand + pebbles, there are almost no waves. It takes 7 minutes to walk to the beach between the hotels of the first line.
Activities: just a disco and that's it!
Overall, the hotel is quiet and small, but there is still enough room for everyone.
The hotel is located in the village of Kumkoi, 750 steps from the sea.
Of the advantages:
- good food, delicious
- good staff
- there are shops near the hotel
Of the disadvantages:
- a small area of the hotel
- if the room has a balcony facing the road, it is noisy
I recommend it for pensioners and budget holidays.
