We lived in 22m bungalows, all-inclusive meals (not software). The room is large, beautiful, the plumbing and furniture are in excellent condition. There is a kettle in the room, and constantly replenished stocks of tea, coffee, cream, sugar. Bed linen and towels were changed every day.Cleaning for 5+.
Every evening, the canopy was lowered in the room and the room was treated from insects, which are practically non-existent on the island -we met one mosquito in 12 days.
The territory of the hotel is well-groomed, green.
There is a small swimming pool that is cleaned every morning.
The sea is 2 steps away even from the farthest point of the hotel. The beach is the best in Uroa (we went around everything).
Nutrition: at the beginning of our vacation, for some reason, the food containers were not replenished and if you came an hour after the start of breakfast (lunch, dinner), then you will not see half of the dishes. So it was the first two days of our vacation. But, after talking with the manager (thanks to our combat friend Marina for this!) everything got better right away, even seafood appeared, and every day! And pizza, burgers and French fries (for children). It is very pleasant that our requests were immediately taken into account and everything was fixed.
There are never queues at the bar. By drinks:delicious Spanish beer, the most magnificent white wine (which unfortunately was constantly running out), good red wine, make good cocktails and sweet juices for my taste (they make themselves with sugar and water).
I would especially like to mention the hotel staff, this is one big friendly family! They work quickly, there are no queues anywhere, drinks are brought quickly. Everyone is very positive and funny. All the guys are from the mainland, they live at the hotel and go home on vacation once a year. The owners of the hotel are Hindus, and so is the manager.
I want to give you some advice, be sure to take a cream and allergy remedies with you. There may be jellyfish in the sea (a Portuguese ship, though very small), after contact with which, without antihistamines, you will have severe itching for a couple of days.
A 10-minute walk from the hotel, in the village you can buy fruits- the prices are cheap, cigarettes for 3.5 - 5t. shillings, spices (very good), some clothes and souvenirs. Keep in mind that there will be the best prices for all this here, compared to Stone Town and Nungwi.
The only unpleasant moment in this hotel was that on the day of our departure (and we left at 14 o'clock) we were not fed lunch and even water was paid after breakfast, the manager was keenly watching this.
I will not lower my rating for this, after all, our tour ended after breakfast. But, a small residue remained, especially after visiting many hotels in different countries, bracelets were not cut anywhere (by the way, there were no bracelets here, there are only 26 rooms and everyone already knows by sight) and after vacating the room, you could use all the services of hotels everywhere.
But, despite this nuance, I consider this hotel to be the best in Uroa and definitely recommend it!
A heavenly place. Polite staff, well-groomed territory, delicious food. Thanks to the manager - Manoj, I liked everything very much, we recommend it!
As for the food, it was delicious, varied, there was something to choose from - different meat (beef, chicken, duck, lamb), but there was no pork - this is a Muslim country. Seafood - squid, octopus, fish. Always for lunch and dinner - different salads, fruits for breakfast. In general, you will not starve to death, there are even dishes for vegitarians.
There was an animation concert twice a week, and something like circus performances. There are not many people in the hotel, only for the new year, but it is never empty, it is in demand. Just not how long we're going to stay.
There were showers a couple of times and they passed quickly, the rains were warm. The sea is empty - there are fish, but few. We've seen a sea snake a couple of times, but it's not aggressive. There was a moray eel, a cow fish, it was interesting to swim.
We just returned from Zanzibar. I recommend this hotel to everyone!!! Accommodation in detached bungalows, with all amenities. The rooms are clean. Cleaning and mosquito spraying twice a day. The food is wonderful. According to the all-inclusive system, you will not stay hungry. The staff is sooo cheerful and welcoming. And almost nowhere on this coast will you find such a clean beach and a divine ocean!!! Tourists even came to us from other hotels for a fee to swim, because their beaches were worse.
So, if you are going to go to Zanzibar, then only to this hotel!!!!!!!
