Capitoline Square (ital. Piazza del Campidoglio is an architectural ensemble on the Capitoline Hill, one of the seven hills on which Rome arose. The square is interesting with the staircase of the Cordonat, a replica of the equestrian statue of Emperor Marcus Aurelius and three magnificent palaces, which exhibit the exhibits of the Capitoline Museum.
