It's not 4 star. Beautiful photos when book. But in real bad area. Personal wanted to change my money for her couse to take benefit. This is not so clean hotel. Good, what free transfer to a plage. About price I think it's not expansive for Dubai, but Mercury is European hotels, it must be good quality as in Paris Mercury : very clean, good areas, good personal, everyday change bed as accept for 4* hotels.
Great hotel. Pleasant and unobtrusive staff. It is very beautiful everywhere, the room is incredibly comfortable. I liked the attention to detail: we left more bags of black tea when we saw that we were drinking more of it compared to green tea. The service is at a high level. The hotel provides free transportation to the beach at certain hours.
In the end, however, we had a hitch: they counted the laundry for us, we did not order such a service, and we did not leave our things for this. We sorted it out at the end, when our transport to the airport had already arrived. But they sorted it out.
It was also unclear about towels from the pool: at the reception desk they said that from there you can take towels to the beach, and at the pool itself, that only to the pool.
These moments still did not spoil the overall impression, 5 stars.
When I was choosing a hotel for a work trip, I thought that if the mercury network means everything will be fine. But the hotel turned out to be already worn out. For this money, you can rent closer to the sights and better. But the staff was great, helpful and polite. It is located far from the metro. Most taxi trips from there cost me from 35 dirhams. Local shops and cafes are located nearby. The beach is 25 minutes away. At first I lived in one room, but it turned out to be for smokers, but I was easily changed to another.
The hotel has already seen its best years, about 20 years ago. The room is large, well cleaned, but cracks are visible, the smell of dampness is in the air. There are practically no cafes or restaurants nearby. However, if you walk for 10 minutes, you can find Pakistani, Lebanese places... Far from the Danube gloss, however, they offer interesting food options for very reasonable money. The visit left mixed feelings.
A great hotel, there is a Russian-speaking staff, the rooms are clean, breakfast is included, they are very tasty, everything is fresh, I really liked it, I recommend it.
I stayed from December 23 to December 26.
They don't even get 1 star.
The room is clean and the staff is friendly
But in a 2-room room there are only 3 towels, 3 shampoos and one bed with no sleeping accessories at all.
I don't recommend it.
PS stopped again on 08.12.24
The hotel has completely slipped down, I don't recommend it twice, don't even think about it! Breakfast is good, that's all
Beautiful, rich, clean, delicious. Nice staff. Good location, surrounded by a beautiful mosque, fountains, 15 minutes by car from the Museum of the Future, 20 minutes from Burj Khalifa.
It's a great hotel for a business trip. I would hardly go there with my family.
Nice clean cozy average hotel, excellent price/quality combination. Pleasant staff, not in the very center, but also not far away, you can quickly get to both the old center and the Burj Khalifa.
The old hotel. There are broken pieces of furniture in the room. They don't always clean up. A deposit of 200 dirhams is taken upon check-in. The windows were sealed with sealant. They don't open. Beach towels are not provided. In general, the hotel has seen its life. The water in the sink and in the bathroom is not going to drain at all.
The location is quite convenient, but the metro is 40 minutes away on foot. He travels twice a day and transfers to the sea (Lamer beach) and to the Dubai Mall. It's convenient.
The bed is good.
Breakfasts also have a lot to choose from. Delicious.
The only thing is that the expectations were better from the hotel, and it is already battered by life. We lived in other hotels of this chain before that. It was much better.
We won't come back here anymore.
We were there from April 19 - May 3, 2024.
"Wonderful unobtrusive staff".- I read it in the comments and I agree.
At first, they put me in a room where I could hear a night disco, I turned to the reception desk-the room was changed, I slept soundly.
I would also like to mention the staff who did the cleaning. Wonderful guys.
I couldn't remember the name, it sounds like "Ju Ju" in our language, I just called her "Flower Fairy".
I was afraid to pronounce the name incorrectly.
Sarbina at the reception will solve all problems, she is Russian-speaking.
The hotel is great. Cleanliness, beauty.
A very pleasant modern hotel! Nice large rooms with everything you need: water, tea, coffee, everything in the bathroom. I liked it, we will stay there again.
Horror, the room stock requires a complete renovation, musty smell in the rooms, almost no cleaning, there is no complete set of hygiene devices, after the next cleaning they simply forgot to put a towel on the second guest, ventilation problems, and on the ground floor there is a bar / club that works late into the night, it is simply impossible to sleep! The rest was greatly overshadowed!!!
We stayed at this hotel for a couple of days. Very cozy rooms, everything is clean and beautiful. The hotel is located near the airport, as well as to the beach and to the Dubai Mall there are special buses on which it is convenient to get there. Separately, I would like to mention the manager Arina, a very responsive girl, helped solve all the issues that arise, a pleasant addition that it was possible to communicate in Russian. I recommend this hotel for travelers😊
The hotel basically liked everything. Unless an outdated TV model is knocked out of the general level. But in the end, we didn't come to watch TV! The equipment of the room worked flawlessly. Water, coffee, tea; safe. The interior is designed in the same style, which emphasizes the declared status. At your service: shuttle to the beach and Dubai Mall; restaurant (not used), swimming pool. Interesting (colorful) location area
There are a lot of cheap shops and cafes. To the Max fashion metro station or the beach - about 3 stops by bus or taxi or 40 minutes on foot. By the way: the Dubai Frame is located next to the metro. Have a nice trip to everyone!
The hotel used to be good, but now... It's hard to find what's not broken. The faucet in the bathroom is just lying next to it. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is normal, at the level of European hotels.
1. Excellent staff. Not knowing English will help to deal with any situation that has arisen. I had the temerity to leave my phone in a taxi. Hotel staff: found out the taxi driver's contacts + contacted + returned my loss. (in less than a day). Two Russian-speaking girls work (they are always ready to help).
2. Inside the hotel there are three places where you can eat. Upstairs by the pool, karaoke (there is also billiards)+restaurant. There is also: breakfast + lunch+dinner from the hotel itself. The cost is 89 dirhams. The food is delicious, try the coffee. I would only come back for him)
3. There is no ATM inside the hotel. But you can always clarify and they will show you a nearby hotel that has an ATM and you can withdraw money there.
3. I have been several times and in each room there is a kettle, cups, coffee, tea and a kettle. If desired, you can order anything in the room.
4. The rooms are cozy. Cleaning is daily. (the only negative, the windows do not open, but on the other hand, the rooms have air conditioning).
A great city hotel, conveniently located, I was generally satisfied with everything, I was not there for a long time, but the impressions were pleasant
October 08. I've been here for a week. The hotel is great. The hotel staff is polite. The Burj Khalifa, the famous markets, the beach are all at equal distance. Taxi is cheap, bus stop nearby, lots of shops. The nearest beach is gorgeous! The store is in the next entrance. Swimming pool with a good view of the Burj Khalifa.
The Mercure Gold Al Mina Road Dubai hotel is good for everyone - a good location, good rooms, well-trained staff, normal food, there is a Russian-speaking staff. Among the disadvantages - the lack of TV channels in Russian and the lack of balconies (there is no place to dry clothes after the beach)
