This is not a park - a small cozy square, in which the Shipka memorial is located - a 16-meter granite obelisk with a commemorative inscription. A chapel was erected on the site of the parade of Russian troops and Bulgarian militias, which took place on April 12, 1877, built in 1882 in honor of Russia's victory in the Russo-Turkish war of 1877-1878.
