The Tsitsernakaberd Citadel in Yerevan is a sacred place of memory and pride for the Armenian people. A visit to this historical fortress leaves an unforgettable impression of the rich and complex history of Armenia. Tsitsernakaberd is a symbol of the spiritual strength and unity of the Armenian people, and I highly recommend visiting this historical place to pay tribute and learn more about the rich heritage of the country.
Tsitsernakakbert is a place that cannot be avoided. This memorial is a symbol of sorrow and memory of all Armenians who survived tragic events in the history of our people.
A visit to Tsitsernakakbert is not just an excursion, it is a deep dive into history that evokes strong emotions and makes you think about the meaning of memory and justice. The architecture of the memorial impresses with its grandeur and austerity, and the surrounding landscape creates an atmosphere of deep sorrow and respect.
I strongly recommend everyone to visit this place. It should definitely be on the list of those who want to understand and experience Armenian culture and history. Tsitsernakakbert is not only a memorial, but also a reminder of the importance of preserving the memory of those who did not live to this day.
The strongest place, well maintained and with a huge history. It is a must for all tourists of Yerevan to visit. I recommend either a guided tour or reading the Internet. Interesting,
An energetically powerful place! Everything is very nice and clean!
The story is of course terrifying....
Everyone who has not been must visit at least once
We were at the memorial on April 25, 2023, the day after the Armenian Genocide Memorial Day. Everything was covered with wreaths of fresh flowers. We went down to the eternal flame. We came at night, and it was very beautiful, there was something powerful and ancient in this place - the spirit of the Armenian people and their attitude to their history were felt.
It's a very emotionally difficult place. It's beautiful, but behind the beauty lies grief and horror. Those who are not familiar with the history of the Armenian people should visit in order to understand what this people has experienced.I got into it. Admission is free, you can take a paid tour.
I don't know how to evaluate this place…
And who has the right to do this…
With pain in our hearts, we visit the memorial every time…
I just want to be grateful that he is being cared for, and tourists are imbued with interest in the history and pain of the People.
An incredible place in its energy! The music is perfectly chosen, which helps to tune in to the right perception of this memorial. And the panorama that opens from these heights is simply fascinating…
It is correctly said that it is necessary to visit this place. Also, various famous people plant trees on the territory to honor the memory. Maybe someone will be interested in taking a walk and looking for
It is impossible to understand the Armenian people and their history, the depth of sadness in their eyes, without visiting the memorial dedicated to the millions who died from the Armenian Genocide.
11 stones above the eternal flame depict 11 regions where the Armenian Genocide took place in Turkey in 1915
Be sure to visit. We didn't have time to go to the museum (it closes at 17:00), but we enjoyed walking around the territory. This place has a stunning view, tranquility and tranquility.
A must-visit place for tourists, I think it's important to know history, honor it and never let it happen again, there is kindness in each of us and we need to share it with her so that the world is more beautiful.
A must-visit place!!! You can visit for free or take a Russian-speaking guide for 2500 drams per person. We did not regret for a second that we were there with a guide!
Went at night. Didn’t know that you can’t fly drone here. There should some kind of board in English. A guard came and snatched my drone He was super aggressive. His colleague who could speak English easily super nice. Apparently, angry Guard had thought I was Turkish but when he realized I was Japanese citizen with Indian ethnicity, his demeanor changed.
