The museum needs an urgent refurbishment. First there should be signs directing to museum. Parking is not available. The old lady guide was very nice and welcoming but the museum was in bad condition.

The museum is a must-visit at the very beginning of your vacation in Samarkand! A wonderful lecture by the head of the museum, for the two of us they told the whole history of Uzbekistan on the example of the incredible life of an excellent writer, whose stories I immediately wanted to read!!! You won't regret going!

I really liked the tour at the museum of the brilliant writer, thinker and public figure Sadriddin Aini. After such a detailed story by the head of the museum, Amriddin Pulaev, our view of the history of the region changed. I recommend this museum to be the first to visit, the perception of other attractions of Samarkand will be more interesting and deeper. I will note the convenient location on the main street.
