The Americans did well, they got a huge area next to them without buildings and a good view.

The memorial consists of slender rows of parallelepipeds forming long narrow corridors. If you lose sight of a satellite, you will not be able to find it, only silhouettes of strangers will periodically appear in the distance. At the same time, the satellite will be very close, around the corner or in the next corridor.

It is located right under the windows of the Reichstag. The author of the idea is Peter Eisenman. It was opened in 2005. A brilliant monument! Great simplicity. .. The impact is not at the level of sight and touch, no, it gets right into the soul... I can't tell you what a creepy feeling it feels when you go inside... I want to run far away, I keep looking back... It seems that the horror just oozes out of the walls... It seems like there were dozens of people around, a sunny day, and suddenly there is no one... You're alone and there's a gray hell all around. In general, it chilled me to the bone...
