The monument impresses with its size and architecture. The views of the Tbilisi reservoir and the city are stunning. It is definitely worth a visit to see Tbilisi
The memorial consists of massive columns, each of which is decorated with bas-reliefs depicting key moments of Georgian history and culture. The height of the columns and their imposing appearance create a sense of solemnity and grandeur. The bas-reliefs convey in detail scenes from the history of Georgia, starting from ancient times and ending with more modern events, which allows visitors to immerse themselves in the rich and multifaceted history of the country.
It's a beautiful place, it's better to get there by car, of course, but the view from there is very cool on the lake, there aren't many people walking. But it's worth visiting this place
Amazing place. I advise you to come closer to sunset. The view is simply beyond words. This memorial offers a stunning panorama of the Tbilisi Sea. Must-visit
It's an exciting sight. It feels like I got into a location from a fairy tale or some kind of game. Lake Tbilisi is visible from the top. The impressions are great. You must visit this place at least once!
The place is amazing, the size of the pillars is simply mesmerizing, of course I thought they were big, but not that big. Stunning view of the city.
Attention: It is very windy, dress warmer especially in winter.
of the pros: we were not bitten by a dog from the review below
of the cons: we still have to go back, so we'll meet in the queue for vaccination
the statue is really impressive
The elements of the bronze vent facades of the monument did not survive for several years. They disappear and are slowly repaired every two months.
The size of the monument is undoubtedly its main impressive property, however, sketches and scenes on columns are visible, which Tsereteli did reluctantly, hurriedly or not at all. The execution is substandard, schematic and sometimes simply disproportionate. Although right next to such imperfections, absolutely detailed work with cilia, deep look and composition.
Around the monument there is a magical charming view of sleeping bags and, uh, sleeping bags. You can also see garages, construction debris, the outskirts of the suburbs
and many truly majestic mountains, which are decorated with all shades of delicate colors at sunset and if you squat down, then there is only one pleasure to watch this spectacle.
P.S. It blows hard on the mountain
It is a very beautiful monument.
After that, go down the ridge to the cross and down the steep slope to the city. There will be a wonderful cafe on the street 50m to the right.

A very atmospheric, majestic place. It contains information about the history of Georgia and biblical stories. This monument is the work of the famous Tsereteli. It attracts not only by itself, but also by the fact that from this hill there are the most beautiful views of the city and the Tbilisi sea
The memorial towers over the reservoir, and you can see the Shavnabad monastery, and Jvari, and the TV tower, and the terrible high-rise buildings. All this is obscured in places by power lines, wires and the slightly peeling work of Tsereteli. An aunt is sitting in front of the toilet and collects 1 GEL each for the approach to the Genoa bowl, the lack of toilet paper, soap and a working washbasin. If you walk along the path slightly away from the monument, then among other debris you can see the traces of those who saved this amount. I recommend stopping by Shevardnadze's Gardenia on the way back to change the picture and admire the works of non-human hands.
Be careful if you walk from the subway - there is a private sector and there are dogs. The same dog bit my brother and a friend (they went independently on different days and then met at the vaccination). It 's better to take a taxi so that you don 't get injections later .
The monument itself is large-scale
Very very cool! It's just unbelievable. The dogs were tortured

an amazing place, visit thoughtfully, slowly) the scale is amazing.
excellent view of the city from the observation decks, at the same time you can visit the Tbilisi Sea and swim.
The memorial is impressive!!! I advise everyone to visit. But it is better to plan in parallel with other excursions, because it will take 10 minutes to view, and the road to it is not close.
