We have been living for 5 days already . It's all good. 95% of the vacationers are German family. The food is good. The sea is super, the sand... there is a water park with 4 slides. The disadvantages have not yet been identified, the children are happy. A quiet, peaceful place. The only thing I recommend is to order an individual transfer to the hotel and back to the airport, otherwise you will wait a long time for delivery. A one-way transfer costs 80 euros. I was 24 in September. I liked everything, the rooms, the kitchen, the cleaning, the beach, there are stones at the bottom of the sea, but we quickly found a passage without stones. We are staying at this hotel for the second time. Rather, in 2021 we had a rest at Melas Resort, and this year at Melas Holiday. These are two hotels in one large area. The territory is very beautiful and well maintained. The beach is sandy, the entrance to the sea is gentle and comfortable. There are rocks at the bottom, but they are not sharp, as if smoothed by the waves. We had a deluxe room with sea and pool views. The room is large and looks nice. The cleaning is good, it is cleaned every day. The food is excellent. A large selection of dishes, everything is delicious. Every day there was a different concept for dinner: Mexican cuisine, Italian, seafood dinner. There are a lot of different snacks in bars on the beach and by the pools between the main meals. Also, drinks and ice cream. The hotel is mostly German, there are few Russians. For some, this is a minus, but it doesn't matter to us. Overall, I like the hotel. Both the Resort and the Holiday. The only thing is that the Resort has a little more entertainment for adults: a nightclub, live music. And Holiday Village is more for kids.

The food is varied, I was pleased that there is a lot of seafood and dishes change frequently, three bars by the large pool, at the water park and at the reception. An undoubted plus is the almost complete absence of Russian tourists, and those who are very calm and well-mannered. In general, the audience is great. Another huge plus is the heated pool, because it was always comfortable for children to swim in the middle of October. At the reception, Russian-speaking staff help with any question, they are very responsive - special thanks to them. In general, it is very cozy, pleasant and high-quality. According to the spa, there is a hammam and two baths, but they are on the territory of the Melas Hotel - but everything is on site, but they did not immediately find how to get there.

Good afternoon, everyone! We just returned from the hotel on June 30, 2022, and while the memories are fresh, I want to share my impressions. The whole staff is very, very friendly - starting from the gardener and ending with the manager in the restaurant! Everything is cooked delicious and varied, everything is fresh. The waiters serve very quickly, despite the large number of guests. They clean conscientiously everywhere, the staff is very disciplined. The beach is sandy, as already written, there are stones away from the entrance, but the water is clean and there is no problem getting around them. Everyone at the reception is treated like dear guests! The girl Julia helps with all questions, thank her very much! Thanks to all the staff. It was a great vacation!

Our favorite hotel. We went there for the first time in 2008 with our first child. Then in 2009 and so on until 2011. From the age of 12 to the age of 20, we flew to Cyprus. And after such a break, we returned to this hotel again) in May 2022, we went for 10 days with our second child. The hotel is very nice.. He has a great, big territory. A lot of greenery.. there is a lawn for football, and you can just run on it, hedgehogs live on the territory, it's just a joy for children. The beach is big, clean, there was always enough space. I can't say that the hotel is just super super, but it's cozy) I want to return more and more)

In 2021, as usual in the fall, they planned a beach holiday. The end of September. At first, we booked Crimea, the Southern Coast, just west of Yalta, Mishor. But in the summer, the Actor's House boarding house raised the price, and it became simply indecent. For exactly the same money, but together with the flight with S7 regulars and an individual transfer, we decided to fly to Side, the Melas HV-1 hotel. Of course, everything is included. Crimea for this money is only accommodation with so-so breakfasts.
1. Accommodation. A great theme is Holiday Village. The hotel is built on the principle of a village, it is really stylized and looks great – a village on a mountainside, with narrow streets or narrow passages along rocky paths between houses. There are small cottages for two-four-six rooms. 2-3 floors. There is a small main building, but against the background of the nearby (common area) huge building of the Melas Resort hotel, the building seems to be lost. The room is small, but quite cozy, everything is as usual. Writing about a certain fatigue of the room, well, yes, there are small traces of time, but let's be objective, how is it at home? The repair was completed only yesterday and everything is perfect?? No need to quibble, everything is fine. Classic, good wooden doors, normally controlled split air conditioner, soft water. Perhaps it is unusual that there is a bathtub, not a shower, but these are also details. There are no slippers and bathrobes – apparently, traces of the last pandemic year.
The territory is not huge, but also rather big, 5 swimming pools, its own water park. 2 bars on the beach (one of them is a daytime snack).
A little sports in the afternoon, animation in the evening either at our pool or at the nearby Melas Resort in a large amphitheater. Everything is OK, everything is normal. I don't understand the criticism in the reviews about the lack of entertainment – everything is there. Among the animators, we note Ornella (Russian), wonderful, sociable and super energetic. Yes, if it's about Russian–speaking support, Julia and Svetlana are at the reception (in my opinion, from Ukraine, but this does not interfere with anything at all). They solve any problems quickly. And in general, everything is very well organized in the hotel, sometimes you can't get a waiter in others, here they circle the restaurant and the bar in a mass, come up, they are interested in how things are and what is needed. There was a small personal incident, so then the chief manager of the hotel came up, got acquainted, the incident was naturally immediately resolved, but later he was constantly seen in different places of the hotel, looks, controls, even connects himself to the service process if necessary. And really, everything works like clockwork.
2. The beach. Here I categorically do not understand the tantrums of those who write about some plates and the impossibility of entering the sea. An ordinary Turkish sandy beach. Clear. There are no jellyfish. There is no dirt. Yes, there are stones in the water, these are not slabs, but natural stones. But there are few of them, the water is clear and everything is visible, well, you go around them and that's it. Nearby, for example, in a much steeper Barut, everything is much worse, and our beach has the maximum number of people, which indicates its comfort. On the very first day, I worked out the trajectory along which we entered the water without any stones at all. It is strictly opposite the lifeguard's tower and then perpendicular to the shore. The stones appear only near the buoys. You can swim behind them and there is a wide place for swimming, several hundred meters along the coast – swim around. There are free sun beds, but not many, we usually stayed inside the hotel on the grass. Anyway, to go to the shower from the beach.
3. Nutrition. Of course, there are oddities here. In principle, there is no traditional Turkish "all inclusive" crazy collapse of products. No, everything is there, salads, marinades, vegetables (by the way, for the first time in Turkey there were very tasty tomatoes and cucumbers, usually like grass). There are several types of meat, quite a few fish, but there are seafood evenings, then shrimps, crabs, crayfish are connected. but!! It's all behind the glass. That is, at each distribution there are ordinary containers with food, and all this is separated from us by glass with a window. You hold out a plate there, and there the person puts on what you pointed with your finger. It's a little unusual, then you get used to it, but what can you do, it's unacceptable now that everyone is groping spoons, groping fruits and buns. As people write here, there are no angry glances for an extra piece of meat. As much as you ask, so much will be put. And they usually put in more than you ask for.
There are few fruits, but there are pears, delicious apples, watermelon, melon, plums, grapes, something else, I don't remember. A huge number of desserts. Delicious tea, coffee is better in the pool bar,
There are four a la carte restaurants, you can try Asian, Turkish, international or Italian cuisine.
4. The environment. The most important thing is the promenade. In one direction from a kilometer towards Antalya, in the other to Side 40 minutes on foot, 3-4 kilometers. In the evening, that's it. 1 dollar per person on a dolmushka in Side, also a dollar in the opposite direction, there are several pretty decent shopping centers on the border of Kumkoi and Evrenseki (tourist areas). A taxi after that is obscenely expensive, the same way is a dozen. It used to be packed in dolmushka, this year you're even sitting. Traditionally, we went to the ancient city several times, it simply fascinates us. There are many preserved not only foundations, but also buildings built 2 thousand years ago. City buildings, a hospital, toilets (an innovation by Vespasian), gates of his own name, a commercial Agora, a government Agora, baths and fountains. A whole big city, in places with a preserved city wall. Walking between the times…
Overall, a great hotel, a great stay. Fully justifies the money paid.

A bad hotel. Noisy night programs are organized right in the center of the territory. It is impossible to sleep accordingly. You can't relax here with children. There are no descents to the rooms for strollers at all. You will be jumping up stone stairs with a stroller and a baby in your arms. If you like to drink with the Germans, then this hotel is for you. For other entertainment and relaxation, look for another hotel. I had a rest in 2021.

Briefly about the hotel, I don't know where he got such laudatory reviews. The maximum that deserves is 3 stars. In order and objectively, the territory is large and green, the rooms are not bad, but they already require repair. The beach is a sandy entrance to the sea, as already written, with stones coming across. Animation is zero, but simply there is none, everyone goes to watch colorful shows in Barut Chimera. Who writes that there is a snack bar here, probably people just haven't been to normal hotels. Not only is there no choice, but they put it in your mouth. 1 ONE piece of meat, and then look into your eyes with a question More? It's tinny. The waiters are lazy, and so are the staff. There are fruits, but no fish. Chinese tilapia. They don't speak Russian. In short, I do not recommend the hotel, the maximum that deserves is 3 stars and then with a stretch.

It shakes you up and sometimes you can even stumble. The lack of bathrobes and slippers in the room (a 5* hotel could take care of this. The stone floor blows with a grave chill and slippers would be just right). Change of soap and other things once a week (you need more often). If you don't "gild" the waiter's pen BEFORE the start of the meal, he can turn on the "I'm blind, deaf and don't understand what I'm doing here at all" mode, just in the bar (the bar is a separate song and I don't care so much). Cleaning of the room the day before departure is done on the dump. The beach on our vacation days was not comme il faut (to put it mildly), for a hotel of this level and the declared sand is unacceptable! The sand is not very good at all, I'll tell you. Clothes get dirty very much. This is not the purest Thai sand (so far I can only compare it with it). The coastal bottom is rocky, slippery because the sand is washed away by waves and poor people artificially fill it up again in order to meet the "sandy beach" standard. For me, this is the least negative. And also, I would like to note negatively ALL the anex tour guides who have encountered us in Turkey. Not competent people who earn their bread. But in general, I am happy with the hotel. There is nothing to compare it with in Turkey yet, so let it be so for now🙌🏼 the next hotel, city, location will be different. We really liked the gorgeous territory, the food is not always good, the dishes are not very clean either, but the worst thing is the attitude of the restaurant staff to Russian-speaking vacationers, complete disregard occurs (even tips do not help) but everything is just fine for the German race, make a conclusion. For the money that this vacation costs, everyone should be served the same way, we did not like the fish restaurant. So not 5 stars, but only 4.

It's not the first time I've come here and every time I make sure that this is the best hotel on the coast: food, drinks, bars, beach, animators (this year, by the way, they began to speak Russian).
I bought it through AnexTour. It is a pity that it is impossible to buy apartments in Russia.
In general, the rooms are decent, both in the building above the restaurant and in the bungalow. Cleaning is done daily, the minibar is replenished every 2 days. If there was not enough water, then I took a bottle in the restaurant without any problems.
Fitness - in the Resort. The Turkish La-carte restaurant is not very good... fish is the most decent, and Italian is average.
