My girlfriend, an Armenian American, visited Armenia this year and had a disappointing and distressing experience at Erebuni Medical Center. She was suffering from a headache, which we initially thought was related to stress, so we decided to consult a neurologist. We visited Dr. Razmik Karapetyan, who recommended an MRT of the head and shoulders, which cost 110,000 AMD. After that, he suggested an additional unnecessary test involving contrast, priced at 30,000 AMD. To our shock, he began by stating that there was a lump in her head, delivering one alarming piece of news after another without any sensitivity towards her feelings.
Later that same day, we sought a second opinion at another hospital, where we discovered that her issues were actually related to her teeth, not a lump at all. She ended up spending 70,000 AMD unnecessarily, all due to Dr. Karapetyan's recommendations and his eagerness to push for more tests, seemingly because I am an American citizen, which often translates to higher rates. It's disheartening that some local doctors, particularly Dr. Karapetyan, are willing to exploit visitors in this way. This behavior not only undermines trust, but it also discourages people from returning to Armenia. It's a serious issue that needs to be addressed. Medical care shouldn't be solely about money, yet it seems this hospital is focused on pushing for tests to maximize every AMD they can extract from tourists.
Ask the doctors about the possibility of providing a conclusion in Russian.
I came to an appointment to do an ultrasound of the genitourinary organs. Everything was done well, relatively quickly and they were friendly. However, they refused to make a conclusion in Russian, referring to the fact that the national language is Armenian and we do not write in others. I asked the doctor several logical questions, to which I was not given an answer and was told: translate through a translator. To be understood in Armenia, 94% of Armenians speak Russian at least at a basic level. My therapist does not know the Armenian language and there may be inaccuracies in the translation, which may lead to erroneous data.
I went to a private clinic earlier and they made a conclusion in Russian without any questions. And the cost of private clinics does not differ much from public ones.
THIS REVIEW CAN SAVE YOU OR YOUR FAMILY'S LIFE!!!
JUST ONE ANALYSIS!!! Which and d....It is clear if there is swelling, then you need to check your kidneys or heart!!!
My mother came to this clinic because of an injury, she fell, her ribs broke and her spleen was damaged. The doctor Vardanyan A.V. performed an operation and removed the spleen-thank you for that, but that was the end of his mission…
Further, after the operation, what tests should be taken to understand why the swelling does not go away for 14 days and is only added and the patient's condition does not improve, to put it mildly, this does not concern them and does not concern anyone at all, and we are not doctors and do not understand and are not obliged to understand…
But now, a month later, I understand more than this surgeon, his residents and a cardiologist, who seemed to follow my mother after the operation .
...having been admitted to surgery with an injury, tests were performed before the operation, where CREATININE was HIGHER than NORMAL (instead of 100) 140 (this shows how the kidneys work and what would you know with fractures, creatinine rises as a rule)after the operation, an analysis was also done the next day and CREATININE WAS ALREADY 190. (No one told us anything about this)
AND NO ONE REPEATS THIS ANALYSIS ANYMORE, DOES NOT FOLLOW IT!!! AND CREATININE, WHEN IT RISES SLOWLY LIKE THIS FOR A MONTH, A PERSON SIMPLY DIES FROM ELEVATED NITROGEN!
On the 14th day they are discharged home and they say it takes time for the swelling to go away. After 2 days at home, we see that the face is already swollen and the whole body is swollen, we take it to another hospital and do tests with CREATININE 1100 INSTEAD OF 100!!!!
We are taking them back to this clinic (since the operation was done here, no one wants to take on the shoals of another doctor), we go to the intensive care unit, they begin to do DIALYSIS to at least save a life, what kind of torment my mother went through and still goes through, I will not say and it is not yet known whether we will be able to put her on her feet, it will be Is she on dialysis for the rest of her life or not…
To my indignation that if tests had been done, it would have been possible to stop the increase in creatinine, the response from the doctor was this - I am a surgeon and CREATININE 100 or 200 is the same for me😀 And after that, he was also indignant and said that my mother needed to be taken away from this department, she was not their patient.
THE DOCTOR TOOK OFFENSE AT US!!!
He also performed the operation and saved my mother's life for 14 +2 days (at home) and I was so ungrateful, I took her to the hospital so that she would live even longer. I leave the conclusions to you!
P.S. Now I have connected other doctors myself and they are now treating her.
In connection with these events, I have already heard from several people that their relatives in this clinic died from increased nitrogen after operations, that is, we are not the first and we are not the last!
And about the clinic, you could write a negative review on 3 sheets, but there are so many of them written.
Good health to all!
It's a terrible clinic, they just think how to get money! I came to the neurologist urgently, I was worried that I have cervical osteochondrosis, which makes me dizzy and neck pain. The neurologist didn't really say anything. I sent it for an MRI scan of the brain. This is the first time I've heard that it was impossible to do an MRI of the neck and head together. The transcript was given in terrible Russian. Nothing was painted. They charged $130 for all this. The next day I went to an ophthalmologist, they did an examination of the fundus, upon arrival home everything began to itch, either from drops, or from the neurologist's pills. I had to go to the ambulance to see them. They put it next to all the patients who coughed, with a runny nose, they dug something, it almost didn't help, the nurses don't know how to put a catheter, they ignore it. The only normal doctor was in emergency, As a result, barely $ 100 per day (ophthalmologist and emergency). I did not go to them anymore, I will use the services of another hospital. Neurologist Ani Shiroyan left me her contact, told me if there was anything to write to her. He does not specifically respond to messages and calls. He just says everything is fine, drink against allergies. You can't find her in the hospital. It's a terrible place! We don't even have that service in free hospitals.
I know this hospital very well, since my brother was there from July 22 to July 31.The service was very poor and in my opinion a shitty hospital. So that we don't buy our medicines, they don't reach the patient. In this hospital, the intensive care unit is like a checkpoint.People are being deceived.I was deceived in this hospital for 300 thousand drams, allegedly it is paid for the device that was connected to my brother. But so it was connected, and after 2 hours I was informed that my brother had died, or rather when the amount was credited to the account. There was such a doctor Tigran Harutyunyan, if you know him, it's better not to put the lives of relatives in his hands.I'm sorry, but he's not worth it as a doctor.I didn't see anything good.
My mother was hit by a car on October 22, they took her to Erebuni and she had laparoscopic surgery, they said 250 thousand the next day, when they found out that insurance was paying, they said they invited a professor and needed to pay 450 thousand. They were kept in intensive care for 9 days at a cost of 40 thousand per day. Then the leg was operated on and discharged without checking ultrasound and hemoglobin, the man went as a lady and the next day she began to pull out and felt dizzy. we went to the hospital, the doctor removed the stitches on his leg, called the doctor Ara ovikovich Melikyan, a man with a capital letter, and we tell him that his mother is ill, he tells me what to do, call your local doctor. And the next day, my mother was taken away, it turned out that her blood had collected 1.5 liters and she needed to remove the spleen, which doctors are for, and now the operation costs 1,000,000. What kind of anarchy is it if a person doesn't have money, he has to die in the hospital.
She gave birth to a son in the Erebuni maternity hospital. The birth was well received, without complications. Thanks to Tigran Aikovich for his professionalism and kind attitude, he cheered and made me laugh all the time. Excellent paid chambers. Very responsive girls at the post, helped and prompted on all issues of newborn care. Thanks to the staff, I have only the most pleasant memories of this event in my life!
Thank you for the professional approach.
I came to the hospital for a consultation when I was leaving the Sparapet military trade.

I had an operation at this hospital, everything went well. The friendly staff and high-quality medical care left a positive impression. Thanks to my doctors!
A city within a city. A large hospital. Medicine is one of the best places in Yerevan. According to medicine, judging by some cases of acquaintances, it is a renovated post-fight. Evidence based, there is no smell of service and security here.
Apparently, they received the JCI certificate for Tutovka and Khorovac.
For example, according to JCI, there should definitely be a staff call button in any toilet.
I was not at the clinic. Papers, too, by the way. Fortunately, it was not required, but the eye habitually catches hospital trifles.
We are all sinners, including European auditors.
P.S. There was no paper in the second most popular private hospital in Yerevan, Asthike. And there she was needed...
This year, a new building (ONCO) was built, the most expensive and best Varian equipment in the world was placed. Therefore, I think that Erebuni is probably the best clinic in Armenia. I know for sure that the administration is constantly trying to expand the list of possible procedures and increase their effectiveness. Even patients are transported from building to building in their own ambulances. Among the features: for some reason there is no access system. There are crowds of relatives on the ground floor, patients are being taken there, and workers are right there.
In any case, do not contact this institution. Nerves, queues and improper provision of services are provided for you. I signed up for an MRI scan at a certain time. They were accepted after a little over an hour, as everyone was on a first-come, first-served basis, where some of the less cultured clients of this office climbed out of this queue. They gave out a disk, and on the envelope was the date and time when the doctor's report would be ready. I left my email at the reception to send the results to it. They didn't send the results, so I called a taxi and went to this place again with a sore knee. At first they couldn't find me in the database, and then they told me to come the next day. I said that I would leave the hospital only with a doctor's opinion. The doctor began to prepare it. Now there are doubts that this was not done in a hurry and not on the knee. If you want professional help, go anywhere but here.
I signed up for an MRI of the pelvis with contrast by 10:00 in the morning. it should be said right away that preparing for an mri of the pelvis is not pleasant, so even after arriving at the hospital I just waited 2 hours (there were no people at all) and without waiting for the doctor, I just left. I think this is absolutely unacceptable and plus I don't know what the result would be. considering that the drugs that need to be drunk before an MRI are taken 30-40 minutes before, and I waited two hours)
The quality of the equipment, the attitude and qualifications of the doctors are good (special thanks to Zhanna Samvelovna Harutyunyan for her attention and integrity) But the service and qualifications of the medical staff are not satisfactory. For quite decent (by the standards of Armenia and in general) money, a conclusion in Russian or another language is not provided unless you speak in advance! No one warns about this in advance, and then, it's not almost impossible or just not possible! :((
I recommend this center. My mother was lying in the ward after a stroke. My dad and I arrived at the wrong time, he already had cancer, dad was operated on, his stomach ulcer burst. The Erebuni center is paid, intensive care specialists Arshaluis Vladikovna and Narek , I did not remember my middle name, they honestly told us that dad was in a very serious condition. Well done nurse in intensive care, thank you for their hard work. They looked after my father until the last moment.
An amazing medical center with modern equipment.
He underwent gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
Thanks to the team: Dr. Roman Matorin, anesthesiologist of the Mountains, med.Sister Louise.
There are no registries, information windows. It's good if a passing doctor tells you. Reception is on a first-come, first-served basis. If there are more than 5 patients in the queue in front of you, then most likely you will not get an appointment for 2 hours. Because during this time, these patients go to the procedures and go to the appointment again without waiting in line.
I went to the neurologist, Marianna Gambaryan, sat for 2 hours, because the doctor took the same ones, and then left for more than half an hour. I gathered a huge number of people at the office. I didn't wait any longer and went to another medical center
If your time is precious, then do not go to this clinic
Hello! It's no secret that visiting the hospital does not cause us positive emotions, except for the situation, there is always a fear of procedures and, of course, the results of the examination. As long as humanity exists, so much care, compassion and understanding will be needed.Patient care meets these needs. But there is an even more compelling reason to be optimistic about health care. The Bible shows that there will come a time when no one will say: "I am sick" (Isaiah 33:24).I would like to sincerely express my deep gratitude to the medical staff of the Department of Neurology at the Erebuni Medical Center, namely, the attending neurologist -Hasmik Vaginakovna Sargsyan,
thank you for your kindness, attention and professionalism, as well as for the fact that the treatment was carried out efficiently and with a detailed description of the results, I also thank the surgeon of the Department of Vascular Surgery -Arthur Norayrovich Harutyunyan and Karen Arturovich Minasyan-kinesiotherapist of the rehabilitation service-thanks to your work, treatment and recovery were comfortable and fast, and the impressions of visiting the department were only positive!
Thanks for the care of the nurses, your kind words of support and knowledge of your business helped us avoid discomfort during our stay in the hospital.
The Bible also promises that "God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death; there will be no more crying, no more crying, no more sickness; for the former has passed away" (Revelation 21:3, 4).
May your noble work be recognized and rewarded. All the best! Thanks!
Sincerely, A.A. Sargisyan

In this medical center, Dr. Armen Hanoyan (torakal bazhanmunk) operated on my aunt Danielyan Suanna. He just saved her life after a lot of torment and suffering. She got there after a fall and with broken ribs. She had numerous fractures that damaged her lungs. There was blood and water and pus collected . But the magic hands of our doctors Armen Hanoyan and Alain Poghosyan just saved her life, pulled her out of that world. We are proud that we have such doctors from God in Armenia.Let the whole world know that Armenia has such an attitude to people's lives. There is no such behavior anywhere in the world , they are rude everywhere .And here the attitude is so humane that you want to kiss the doctor 's hands .We love and adore Armen Hanoyan.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to the orthopedic doctor of the Erebuni Poghosyan Medical Center Armen for the excellent hip replacement surgery. We were treated with acute pain and are very glad that we got to this doctor!!!Thank you for your professionalism and human attitude!!!I wish you good luck in all your business!!!Thanks to the Erebuni Medical Center!!!
The diagnosis in this hospital is arranged in an interesting way. With acute abdominal pain, I was released with a diagnosis of intestinal colic, which, upon repeated treatment, turned out to be appendicitis.
More than 5 hours passed between the diagnosis of appendicitis and the operation, which led to gangrene of the appendix, peritonitis and spilling of the contents of the appendix into the abdominal cavity.
There are no visiting rules in the surgery rooms. At some point, 13 relatives of one patient gathered in my room and had gatherings with a watermelon, there was no rest after the operation. In general, there was almost always noise and uproar in the ward from 12 a.m. to 12 a.m. Once, the patient's relatives smoked right in the ward. The hospital staff did nothing about it, only offered to move to another ward.
Also, the hospital staff knows very little about the norms of asepsis. The nurse has never worn gloves when manipulating the catheter and does not handle her hands in front of them. The surgeon may be without gloves during the dressing (of course, he does not process his hands either), he may take a ringing phone out of his pocket during the dressing, talk and continue the dressing without treating his hands.
The dressing gauze material seems to be used repeatedly, since sometimes there are spots of yellow shades on it.
In general, if you want to get into the medicine of the beginning of the last century, the surgery of this hospital is a great place. But keep in mind that your chances of a quick recovery will be appropriate.
I turned to this clinic at night after the discovery of two ticks on the body, the question about the cost of removing ticks was answered reluctantly by the girls at the reception, trying to get away from the exact amount, they say, the doctor will tell you everything. The doctor came out, called me into the waiting room, slipped away from the question of the cost again, saying that first we need to look. As a result, after two minutes of tick removal, he named the amount of 20,000 drams, indicating "surgical intervention" in the receipt.
They did not give a clear answer to my questions about where the cost was taken from, pay 20 thousand and that's it.
The amount is terrifying, familiar people removed both wisdom teeth for less money!
When asked to provide a price list with fixed amounts, they refused, saying that they first "need to look" to name the cost.
Such a mess allows the staff to invent any amount taken from the ceiling.
Just to get more money off the customers.
I do not recommend visiting this clinic.
I wish you all good health, let none of your loved ones ever get sick, but since you are reading my review, it means that one of your needs help, which happened to us. But, first of all, I want to add, given the peculiarities of Armenian medicine, having a sad experience behind them, they did not want to deal with Armenian doctors and clinics. And may that part of the Armenian healthcare forgive me, which, no matter what, performed and are doing their duty at a height.
As it usually happens, a severe ischemic stroke suddenly came. Thanks to the ambulance service of the city of Echmiadzin, the patient was brought to the Erebuni Medical Center in Yerevan. Due to incompetent doctors of the central city hospital of Etchmiadzin, the patient lost a little more than an hour of precious time. But the feedback is positive, and that's another story. God sent a difficult ordeal long ago, and, along with it, real doctors. It is about such people that they say - a doctor from God. The people should know their heroes, who defeat death many times a day, and the names of these heroes are as follows: David Arturovich Sahakyan, head of the cerebrovascular neurosurgical service, Manya Artashesovna Margaryan,
neurologist of the neurological department of the Erebuni Medical Center in Yerevan. I would like to note that these young talented and truly beautiful specialists are extremely modest and attentive. They really worked miracles, did everything possible and impossible to save the patient's life. The most interesting thing is that Manya Artashesovna, after discharge, remained in touch 24 hours a day, without further ado provided full information about the patient's condition by phone in Russian to relatives (also doctors) from Russia.
Everything is transparent in the medical center itself. No one hides the patient's information for his family members, they present disks and everything necessary for free immediately after the examination.
For the first time in my life, I am not ashamed of Armenian medicine, moreover, I am proud of the new generation of doctors and, finally, for a clinic that does not resemble the Grand Bazaar. In this center, all the staff of the intensive care unit and the neurological department, starting from the orderlies and nurses, speech therapists and rehabilitologists are very worthy.
I was with an allergist. The doctor is wonderful, there are no complaints. But the organization caused unpleasant feelings, called on the phone, said that there was no need to sign up, a live queue. I came, and the clinic said that I needed an appointment by the time. I was accepted, everything is fine, but it was unpleasant and unclear how to sign up then if they say on the phone that they don't need:(
Perhaps the qualification of doctors is high - I had a very successful operation, but the organization is just a nightmare, each doctor had to wait for an hour, despite the fact that the prices for admission are not just high - for some specialists the price is higher than Moscow. I am ready to pay for help, but at the same time pay with my time and sit in line for an hour like in some regional hospital, this is beyond my understanding
Patient: Vahe Kamoevich A. I went with my sister to the otolaryngologist-surgeon Tigran Mkoyan on the recommendation of my relatives. The flight from Russia with accommodation and the services of a surgeon cost me 210,000 rubles. I was doing a septoplasty for myself. The complaints were: poor air permeability, directly, of the left sinus, as a result of which, a violation of the quality of sleep - its partial or complete absence. The surgeon's agent informed that the cost of the service includes a transfer from the airport to the accommodation and an initial transfer from the accommodation to the hospital, as well as full support inside the hospital to undergo preparatory activities related to the operation with subsequent surgery and supervision. As a result, there was no transfer. We traveled to an unfamiliar country on our own on nerves. The next day we arrived at the hospital and met with the agent. Slippery arguments were given to my indignant tone and perplexity about the first impression of unfulfilled obligations. I didn't swear much before the operation, but the mood was spoiled. They sent tests and went home. The next day we arrived for surgery. My sister went first, then me. At the preparatory stage, honey. The nurse inserted a catheter into my arm and administered general anesthesia. My arm ached for another week after the incorrectly inserted catheter. After the operation, recovery was fast. We were left in a good room for a day and then discharged with recommendations on medications and compliance with a special regime. Since I am a letter reader, I followed all the recommendations word for word. They came for bandages on the appointed dates. After removing the tampons from the nasal passages, I felt an incredible feeling of free breathing, which lasted only 30 minutes. Later, the nose swelled and the curvature of the tip of the nose was visible. I regarded the swelling as normal, which will eventually come off, I additionally consulted with the doctor and he confirmed my guesses. After a while, during the next bandages, the curvature of the tip of my nose began to bother me. The doctor said that the tip of the nose will fall into place when the swelling subsides. I had the operation in September 2022. Now in February 2023, the swelling has subsided, the left sinus has decreased, the air is difficult to pass, breathing is difficult again, the tip of the nose has not returned to its original state, which was before the operation. While already at home, I wrote to the doctor, but he denied that the nose was curved, arguing that a septoplasty had been performed. I dropped the photo in what's app before and after where the deviations are clearly visible, but for some reason the doctor did not see them. Summarizing this expensive event, I conclude about the poor quality of medical services, which not only did not solve my problem, but also added aesthetic problems. I do not recommend this doctor
It's just a disgusting place!
We arrived with acute abdominal pain. They did an ultrasound and let me go home. The conclusion indicates that the pancreas is fine. A 4cm cyst was found in another clinic. It's just a disaster. But you need to pay before the visit, not after.
The staff giggles and behaves rudely. They will hate you here for your money as much as they do at home.
I had a complete feeling that if you were going to die here, no one would come near you. Nobody cares about you!
She was examined in the endoscopy department: excellent equipment, qualified specialists, attentive attitude to patients. I would like to express my special gratitude to Roman Igorevich Matorin, a wonderful doctor and a high-level specialist!
She gave birth twice in Erebuni by caesarean section. The operation was performed at the highest level. There is something to compare it with: I gave birth to the eldest in the Russian Federation, and it was terrible.
There was a beautiful single room. Paid, of course. The nurses and doctors who came to observe after childbirth all worked clearly and professionally.
Good staff, very competent specialists, good attitude to patients. prices are like everywhere else, very clavisicated doctors are trying to make the right diagnosis.all on 5.
They brought me by ambulance to the emergency department with severe pain in the abdominal cavity, the doctor took a cursory look and sent me home, saying that he saw nothing and everything was fine. That night, I called the doctor again, but since the diagnosis was made incorrectly, the doctor only injected me with analgin + diphenhydramine and left.
The next day I went to the nearest clinic where I was diagnosed and told that an operation was needed immediately and the same Erebuni was sent to the surgeon, but only exactly the department where I needed to go. They told me that if I had been two days late, I could have died. The operation went well, thanks to the doctors.
After rehabilitation, I went to the Erebuni emergency department to get the diagnosis that was made there. The department manager came up to me and brought these papers with the diagnosis. I told her that I could have died because of an incorrect diagnosis, told them to draw conclusions and be more careful, and she looked at me and said that if you don't like going to another place. They don't care about the patient's health and they can just kill you and not even burn you.

I will fairly add my negative review to the 1,000 of the same..
I arrived at night with abdominal pain, I was taken to some terrible place where 10 more people were lying with a bunch of relatives, no one explains anything, you just sit and wait for someone to remember you, the nurses pretend not to see you..
I gave 50,000 thousand, did not wait for my tests and left right with a catheter in my hand, this is just a terrifying place both in terms of doctors' qualifications and service.
I did an MRI of the spine, asked to do 3 Teslas, did 1.5 Teslas, shame! I was there at 00:00 in the epicrisis it says that the examination was conducted at 16:20
The vaunted rheumatologist Armine Andreevna has a kilometer-long queue, I signed up for 13:00, I'm waiting. When asked why to record for a certain time if you have to wait, the nurse answers all the questions to the doctor.
14:00 - everyone comes in except me, I go to the doctor and ask to see me, because I have to go to work, to which she answers me with disdain "I have a job too",
15:00 - the queue has not reached me yet.
She left, she didn't give a damn, they didn't respect their patients, they were yelling in the corridors on the phone, they were brawling, it was a mess
