If you plan to visit this place, register in advance on the official website of the mosque to receive a QR code, so as not to stand in line and then not to register on the spot, because it is mandatory in any case. (It will be needed to access the hall with a carpet and a chandelier).
The place is interesting, large-scale. You need to visit closer to sunset, because there will be an opportunity to see the mosque in natural light and with illumination after sunset.
There are two buses running on the territory, one of which takes the founder and the first president of the UAE to the burial. The second one carries from one side of the mosque to the exit.
Be sure to dress according to the dress code, otherwise they will not let you into the territory!

The mosque is very large and beautiful.
Admission is free with a cuar code, which can be obtained at the entrance.
No one gives out capes for free, so it's better to take care of the appearance in advance to enter the mosque - women need completely closed non-tight clothes and a headscarf, men in shorts are not allowed to pass.
The cost of women's capes in local stores is from 45 dirhams, men's from 50 dirhams.
At the moment (11/17/2022), PCR tests have not been asked.

If you doubt going here or not, my answer is yes, it's definitely worth going. We got here all the way from Sharjah. It's a long way, but it's worth it. Be sure to wear clothes for men covering the legs below the knees and arms up to the elbow. A T-shirt with shorts won't do. I saw myself how the mosque guards deployed some of them to the exit, and there are a lot of guards here. Women definitely need to cover their head with hair in addition to the weight. If you happen to be in Abu Dhabi, be sure to go. The entrance is not obvious - the domes stand apart from the mosque, passing through an underground passage you will get to this wonderful place.
