A beautiful mosque, majestic. It is a pity that it was built on the site of the Church of the Holy Apostles, where the tomb of the emperors was located, but what can we do?..Fatih Mosque - the mosque of the "conqueror" is large, popular with locals, many people came out after prayer. The mausoleum of Mehmed 2 Fatih, who captured the city in 1453, is located on the territory. There is an information stand at this mausoleum, where I found out that he was only 21 years old when he conquered the city...That's the story. It's worth a visit, after visiting the mosque we went out and got to the temporary bazaar! Not a tourist, but a simple urban one, which is also a vivid impression.
