I am pleased to share my review of the Mayakovsky Museum in Bagdati.
To be honest, I didn't expect much, but he exceeded all my expectations. The museum is located in a fenced area, divided into a house where the Mayakovsky family lived and a museum with history, photographs and other things.
The entrance is only 5 lari from the nose, and the guide is 20 lari from the company. I strongly advise you to take a guide, a cool man and an interesting story.
In the house, you can touch history, sit on a chair, rock the cradle in which Mayakovsky lay. 😊
I have not seen many of the photos posted in the museum itself on the Internet, which makes them even more valuable and interesting. Posters, brochures, posters and signs can be viewed for hours. I spent a lot of time in this museum and I'm ready to come back again =)
A wonderful house museum. Authentic exhibits, an interesting tour. I've been wanting to go there for a long time and now finally! Not far from Bagdati, in Imereti, my childhood passed too. There is magnificent nature around. It is impossible not to write in such a place!
The museum is free. Rich exposition. The life and work of V. V. Mayakovsky from his earliest childhood to his last days are well covered. It is very informative, despite the change of the social system. Friendly staff.
