It is a very beautiful picturesque place that you definitely need to get to if you are vacationing in Kemer and if you do not like crowded popular tourist attractions. But I should immediately note that the road to the lighthouse is difficult. Our navigator in the car wrote that we would be able to drive 2 km to the lighthouse, but in fact the road was blocked by a fence 4-5 km away, then only on foot. At first it is quite easy, the last kilometer is sharply uphill. Put 2 hours on the rise, be sure to take water and enjoy nature!
The trail to the lighthouse of Helidonia.
, A set of 250 meters on the map.
The section of the trail to the lighthouse on the left side (if you look at the map).
Ideally, go around the lighthouse and return on the right , but this is suitable for those who do not have a car in the parking lot, such a 10 km long route will take 3-4 hours. We tried to walk to the lighthouse from one side and return, and the next day we approached it from the other side. A very scenic trail with stunning sea views. The climb is constant, the road is passable, but sometimes tedious.
Bottom line: Lycian trail – Mavikent to the lighthouse of Helidonia.
1️⃣ The level of training is average.
2️⃣ Climb – 250 m . (all the way up, smooth at first, then sharper)
3️⃣ The length to the lighthouse is 3 km (in one direction). You can park your car at the gate, or at a sign with a trail sign (but you need to drive 1 km off-road, cars are passing, who cares)
A cool lighthouse and great views! However, it is quite difficult to get there. And I do not advise swimming, there are a lot of sharp stones there. But it's a great place for photos and views
We drove in order to see beautiful views, the car was left 2.5 km from the end point, the way from the car in one direction took 50 minutes, carefully follow the sign to the left of the road, it will lead you with a slight slope up. It's beautiful at the top, I recommend visiting
The method is normal, 3 km on foot to go from the last Parking place of the car, many people walk, the Lycian trail passes. The main hike is because of the views .
The ascent to Cape Helidonia is part of the ancient Lycian trail, a tourist route opened in the 90s of the 20th century. The path runs along the coast, the views are fantastic. The road from the village of Chamyuva took about 1.5 hours, of which we drove slowly for 20-25 minutes on gravel until we came to a gate. We leave the car here and walk. The gate added an extra kilometer to the one-way route. Previously, people put cars higher, near the information table. The road is amazing, the coniferous air, the coves, the sun, the coolness in the shade of the trees. Be sure to take more drinking water, you will definitely need it, we drank our 2 liters for three and wanted more. At the very end of the trail, there is a very sharp slope, a lot of stones, the last march was not easy, especially for a 4-year-old son, but we got to the top! I definitely recommend this route to anyone who likes hiking and traveling, even a four-year-old was satisfied.
At the time of 1.10.23, the road is closed for driving by car!
you can only get to the gate, then about 3 km on foot uphill, walked 500 meters and realized that it was probably enough, it was hot, a decent slope, decided not to suffer and take a picture on the observation deck and go further
We were here today. It's very beautiful, but it's time to die. People writing about 20-30 minutes, I don't know, maybe you were crawling vertically up?))) Everyone is tired and exhausted, take more water, it is the main and most valuable resource in this "ascent". Although the heat was terrible in the afternoon... for fans of extreme sports and outdoor activities - a wonderful find, for the rest - an adventure and an invaluable experience of aching knees and muscles (everyone complained, even the sports part of our company))) but incredible beauty!!!
It's a cool place. Out of season, you can drive directly to the trail, and then a 20-minute walk and you're there. There are tables and benches. There you can have a nice dinner while watching the sunset.

It's a great place, it's better to visit it on weekdays, on weekends there are a lot of locals. I spent the night in a hammock overlooking this lighthouse 👍
The ascent is 2 kilometers. It takes about 30 minutes to climb if you don't stop. There are benches for recreation. The ascent is comfortable and easy. The last 500 meters are a steep climb. A memorable place
It is necessary to carry water with you. The last option to dial it will be 4 km before, if you go from Karaez. There are a lot of flies in the lighthouse area - they stick endlessly to you and bite (we were in early November). It's beautiful in principle, but it seems to me that it's more interesting to go past the lighthouse somewhere, and not just to it and back.

A beautiful lighthouse. You can drive up the serpentine and forest road to the beginning of the 2km walking path. There is a pointer to the lighthouse and, in principle, you can park a car near it, the locals do so. It happens that wasps annoy you.
