Positive:
- convenient location in the very center of the Old Town. Within walking distance of Maximillianstrasse boutiques, Marienplatz pedestrian zone, Hofbroyhaus beer hall, Viktualienmarkt market;
- a cozy, almost homely atmosphere. The courtyard creates the illusion that you are somewhere outside the city.;
- comfortable rooms. There is a kitchenette and a balcony/terrace where you can drink coffee and admire the flowers in the garden.
Cons:
- construction site. About five years ago, the large multi-storey parking lot near the hotel was demolished to build a new modern house there. So far, only the excavation has been completed, the end of the construction site is not visible, the noise is just terrible. Moreover, the renovation of the hotel itself has begun this year. The main building is covered in scaffolding, and the view from those cozy balconies is not the most beautiful.;
- if you travel by car, you will have to look for a parking lot, now there is none nearby.;
- if, due to your age or health condition, it is difficult for you to climb to the third floor, then keep in mind that there is no elevator in the second building, which is currently hosting guests.
We love this hotel very much and will not stop staying there. As for recommendations, I will refrain for now.
I will come back here when I come back to Munich! Cleanliness, coziness, comfort! There is an internal garden, underground Parking, with access to this garden. At the same time - the city center, silence, peace, order. Three minutes walk to Marienplatz. And also, there is a very attentive and polite RUSSIAN-speaking administrator, Vladimir!!
And to you, Vladimir, a separate respect. Made my stay even more comfortable!!
I always stay here in Munich. 5 minutes to viktualenmarkt and Marienplatz, nice comfortable rooms, soft beds. There is a little bit of lighting in the room, it can be inconvenient to work. Nearby there is a supermarket, a pharmacy, a couple of restaurants
