One of the attractions of the city of Samarkand. A noble and peaceful place. The mausoleum of the saint is impressive. There is a lot of greenery around. Benches where you can sit and relax in the shade of the trees. You can buy souvenirs. Be sure to try the water from the spring. It is very tasty and cool, quenches thirst in summer. Be sure to visit this holy place, you will not regret it.
A nice, well-maintained place. Like all the attractions in Samarkand, entrance is also paid here. A 500 (according to some sources, 600) year-old pistachio grows upstairs near the mausoleum. Many people make a wish by touching a tree. There is a spring below, with very tasty sweet water. If there is no bottle with a hundredth, then you can buy it from a young man for 2000 soums.
A magical place! Like an oasis in the middle of the desert.
And the mausoleum itself is very cozy, peaceful, and the park next to it is magnificent!
I recommend everyone to try the water from the spring, it is really very tasty.
It is a very beautiful place, with its own culture and history. A place of peace and quiet. There is a spring spring there, from which it is necessary to drink water, in summer it is just right there, cold, but even the children's throats did not get sick from it.
It is a highly revered place among believers of all religions and confessions. It's always nice to come there, I've been there in winter, summer and spring. There is always peace, delicious water in the holy spring, an age-old pistachio tree and praying faithful travelers. When I visit Samarkand, I go along the same route - Gur-Emir- Ulugbek Observatory - from there on foot to the mausoleum of the prophet Daniel.
It's a very soulful place. Like everywhere else in Uzbekistan, it is clean. An alley with gazebos and trees will appear soon, they are just doing it now. There is a source, so take an empty bottle. The price is higher for foreign citizens as everywhere else, but in Russia such prices are, so it's not so insulting. I advise you to attend tennis for those who really need it, for the sake of a tick, there are no types for Instagram
It is a place of strength for all believers, both Muslims and Christians. It is relatively far from the main attractions of Samarkand, but you definitely need to visit it. To stand, pray, or just sit and think about the fact that the relics of the Biblical prophet are nearby. And then take water from the holy spring and feel peace and quiet in your soul.
It's easy for me to breathe in such places of power. A pistachio tree with a history close to every Orthodox deserves special attention. To drink water from the spring, admire the roses, climb up to the mausoleum - be silent, looking around the neighborhood through the pistachio foliage. Of the disadvantages, parking is paid (
There is a spring with holy water in which you need to wash with this water. And an ancient pistachio tree that needs to be hugged and make a wish)An atmospheric and truly divine place.
Oh, it's such a noble place, I was there, I really liked it. A holy place. Be sure to go this place is inspiring, I've been there 2 times already. I advise everyone to go there. And make a wish.
One of the best attractions in Samarkand. I haven't been to the mausoleum itself. I walked around the park area, sat in the gazebo. I drank from the holy spring. I have not drunk such vk water in more than one source. It tasted sweet to me. I am from Siberia myself, so the water is somewhat similar to our birch sap in taste. I recommend it to everyone. You can walk from Registan.
This is something super thanks for such a vacation Samarkand I love you is a historical city the center of Uzbekistan well the weather there is very warm and hot like the desert of Dubai
A historical place where Christians mistakenly go to see an Orthodox church. There is no temple here, the burial of a clairvoyant, moreover, is 18 meters high, on the edge of a cultivated ditch. According to legend, he was the president of the future of King Nebuchadnezzar, for which he was close to the king, and not a defeat in a cage with lions. There is a spring with clean water and a pistachio tree yu, which is 650 years old, miraculously it stood dry and then blossomed.
The six-domed (five have been preserved) mausoleum and the eighteen-meter grave of the prophet Daniel. In general, there are several tombs in the world and this is one of them. Before the revolution, it was constantly growing in size.
There is a legend that in the 19th century the administration of the Russian Empire suspected the local clergy of charlatan manipulations with the tombstone. The administration allegedly threatened the mullahs that if Daniel's hand continued to grow, the complex would be closed to pilgrims. The threat took effect, and the miraculous growth of the relics stopped. Documents, however, have not been preserved about this))
And it is not known if the hand is there. According to Islam, it is impossible to touch the remains of people and there is a version that Timur brought not part of the relics, but "ashes", i.e. the earth from the grave of Daniel from Susa.
Come in and take a look. And the ancient pistachio tree, and the spring at the foot of the hill.
A holy place that must be visited in Samarkand. To sit in silence under a tree that has come to life after drying, and listen to prayer, cleansed of all evil and asking for the cherished. You come out relieved.
The relics of Daniel are buried here/Doniyara (Danier) is a saint whom representatives of three world religions come to worship. There is a spring on the territory, as well as an Iranian pistachio tree, by the 90s the tree had dried up, but Patriarch Alexei-2 consecrated it, the tree came to life and bloomed. Already in the 2000s, it produced the fruits of a new branch of trees, through the root system. There are many charming ground squirrels on the slope.
The Mausoleum of St. Daniel in Samarkand is a really cool place. It is not only beautiful and ancient, but also somehow especially soothing and inspiring. It is very quiet and peaceful here, and the views around are simply breathtaking.
The mausoleum of the Prophet Daniyar is an amazing place. I advise you to definitely visit this place and touch such a shrine. In this place, everyone finds the help they need from the saint!!!
An atmospheric place on the riverbank.
On the hill is the mausoleum of the prophet Daniel, the prophet of three religions.
A very revered place by believers.
Families of jerboa chipmunks live on the hillside.
I definitely recommend it for a visit.
It's a good place. Nicely. But I don't understand why they take children there, they scream like crazy, they are absolutely not interested in it.
The canal is dirty, bottles are thrown there, garbage scraps, shame on you, horror! And still I give an A because this place is very holy.
In principle, nothing remarkable, a small playground, the price for tickets is the same as for large excursion complexes (if I'm not confusing anything, it's already been 2 weeks). You can inspect it in 5 minutes. A good view from the site and an impressive mausoleum. I recommend taking water containers with you, there is a spring on the territory, which, according to legend, began to beat at the time of the burial of St. Daniel (a piece of relics). Additionally, we ordered a guide for 50,000 soms, we didn't hear anything informative in 3 minutes, we could Google it with greater efficiency.
An absolutely uninteresting museum there is a certain history connected with religion, but let's say this is not because they have a bad dock there, because there is nothing to do there. I would. Well, how do they advertise, is that all? It doesn't correspond, that is, from here, honestly. 2
The place is magical, very clean and harmonious, there is some kind of relaxation and immersion in culture, time, and oneself. However, I was surprised that the entrance is paid. For local 5000, for guests 25000, and another 2000 for a water bottle))
The place is good. We didn't have a guide, so we read information about this place on the Internet. There is useful spring water there, you can enjoy it and even take it with you on bottles
A good place to relax your soul, as the atmosphere is very inviting and of course it is worth taking a look at the historically interesting place that attracts many pilgrims
An interesting historical and holy place. You must visit with a guide, or explore the place in advance. You can climb the trail up the mountain to look at Samarkand.
Well, not to say that the place was very impressive. There is a spring nearby, locals come here to walk with their family and at the same time for water, there is a mausoleum on top, in which the bone of the prophet "grows" from year to year!)
There's not much to see, a long coffin...And that's about it...if you have time, you can visit, but there are a lot of other places in Samarkand that are much more interesting
Everything is fine! But! I do not recommend drinking from a source that is not prepared! I got an acute intestinal infection after 3 sips!
It's good that the doctor treated herself)
From the point of view of spending time and emotions from visiting, the place is not worth the time.
On the territory there is an ordinary mausoleum with a tomb without relics, a dry pistachio tree and a door in the rock, but the guides are not asleep and are ready to tell you tales about the object, which will take you 2 minutes to inspect
Очень красивое место! В Святых местах всегда хорошо даже просто побыть. Впечатлил мавзолей! Очень чисто и душевно! Попробовали и водичку. Вкусная! Рекомендую!
It was interesting. The mausoleum itself is small. But we enjoyed walking around. A pleasant park, you can walk along the river along the mahalla, go out into the steppe. A pleasant walk.
This place is shrouded in legends, it was interesting to delve into. It is not popular with tourists, there were more and more locals. The uniqueness for me was its special atmosphere. When time stops, you want to be here, listen to the world and yourself in it. And you just believe in the sanctity of the source.
The grave of the Prophet Daniel, moved during the reign of Temur. There is a huge coffin in the mausoleum, next to a spring water spring and an aryk Siab.
Frankly, this is a place where you can feel at peace. It's a very cozy place. There is a holy spring here where you can drink cool water and take it with you. This is a place where all desires are fulfilled, you just need to make a wish correctly.
An iconic place for believers and interesting for tourists. The Prophet is revered in three religions. A pistachio tree grows next to the mausoleum, planted, according to legend, at the same time as the burial. There is a beautiful view from the observation deck.
