One of the few (in my opinion, three) preserved pre-Mongol buildings in Bukhara. A small, neat, but at the same time very elegant mausoleum. There is no mosaic, all the beauty is achieved only by bricklaying. It's up to you to decide whether or not to go inside, there's not much to look at, but the price is like in larger museums. You can walk around the park, sit on a bench and relax.
Among the advantages, beautiful architecture, lots of finishing details.
Among the disadvantages, it is unclear what the cost of a visit consists of. The ARK Citadel is much larger, there are many exhibits and they are more interesting, and the entrance costs the same.
They did not go inside, they examined the outside.
It is infuriating that even without finding out where people came from, they announce the price as for foreigners. Apparently, Bukhara does not know that there are still Russian people in Uzbekistan..
The city is amazingly incredibly beautiful. All architectural objects are masterpieces. This is one architectural ensemble. Just an oriental fairy tale
The pearl of Bukhara architecture, directly referring to the Zoroastrian temples. Unique brick patterns, precisely calculated proportions, excellent restoration
A small, majestic mausoleum. A large number of small, decorative elements. It is located in a pleasant, green park area.
A mandatory request for tourists who are animal lovers. Several small dogs and cats live in the park. Please do not forget to feed these miles, they only stay on tourists. Especially a couple of small lapdogs. We will be grateful to you. The attraction is a must-visit, admission is free.
Amazing lightness in the stone, a lot of light inside, stone carvings and brick patterns are very delicate
It's quiet inside. The energy of many centuries is slowly penetrating into you
An iconic place of the city.
It is located in a recreation park. I came in through the Main entrance. It turned out that this is not the shortest way. It is more convenient to walk diagonally from the market.
The mausoleum itself is nothing remarkable. Especially if you are looking for beauty. Simple, small
The mausoleum is well preserved inside, it is fashionable to evaluate the masonry. Entrance 15,000 . The only thing I didn't like was a lot of stray dogs living nearby.
I was fascinated by its history and architecture. A unique structure. Intricate brickwork - one pattern turns into another. But everything is harmonious. A place in Bukhara worth visiting 👍
An interesting old building. Standing in the park. The entrance fee is 15,000 soums, but there is nothing interesting inside. The mausoleum is beautiful from the outside. If you've been to other mausoleums in Uzbekistan, you don't have to come here.
A wonderful place to relax, the park is magnificent, purely beautiful, flowers. The mausoleum is a magnificent architecture that has been preserved for centuries. An active religious building.
A small and very ancient Samanid mausoleum on the banks of the Hausa, built at the turn of the 9th-10th centuries. The oldest building in Uzbekistan from a generally accepted point of view and the only one of its kind that survived from the Samanid empire. Like most pre-Mongol buildings in Central Asia, including other monuments of Bukhara - the Kalyan Minaret, the Magoki-Atari mosque have a common feature of the style - the most complex ornaments of terrorist attacks and figured brickwork. By the beginning of the twentieth century, the mausoleum was almost completely drowned in cultural layers, and other experts criticize its restoration down to the word "destroyed", but I remember the mausoleum as one of the most beautiful structures in Uzbekistan.
The mausoleum was erected to a man who brought peace and development to Bukhara, the building was well preserved because it was essentially buried under a layer of earth.
It looks like a carved box. And they sell antique books nearby, just talk to the seller. I recommend taking a blanket and delicious food, sitting in the park and reading, and also, you can just look at the locals.
A living millennium of history. From the photo, this place is not particularly noticeable, but next to it you feel the power of centuries-old culture, the atmosphere of ancient history.
A very interesting unique mausoleum. Be sure to visit. The oldest building on the territory of Uzbekistan. In addition, it is almost completely preserved. Everything you see is authentic
A stunning mausoleum! The oldest building in Bukhara, built after the Arab conquest. There are no usual multicolored mosaics or majolica on the facades, but the unusual patterned brickwork is especially impressive, in which, in addition to the aesthetic function, a special symbolism is embedded, a whole system of signs of ancient masters. A kind of carved box!
It's not a pop place. There are very few tourists. Although it is one of the oldest buildings. It is located in a park where there is a Ferris wheel. There are a lot of locals on the weekend
Next to this mausoleum, you can meet your grandfather who will tell you a lot of interesting things. Purely on enthusiasm, he sits there and waits for tourists. Sometimes he offers to buy from him either a catalog of photographs of Bukhara or a book on the architecture of Uzbekistan.
Entrance is paid, although the room is 3x3 meters and everything is perfectly visible in the doorway. If donations are needed to maintain the facility, it would be better to put a box for them.
The park is in absolutely terrible condition, surrounded by devastation and despondency. We turned in this direction in vain after the fabulous streets..
An amazingly beautiful building. With consideration. That something was built in 900 years, you wonder at the skill of the architects, how they could imagine such a complex design of the building. It looks just magical.
It is a little annoying to constantly charge money even for such small buildings, where, by and large, there is not much to see. There is a tomb and you can look at the stunning design of the walls inside. It cost something in the region of 20,000 soums (I don't remember exactly, they collected in every building :-)) per person. However, if only it would go into business, to maintain the condition of the monument.
The dynastic mausoleum is one of the oldest monuments of Central Asian monumental architecture and an architectural monument of world significance. It was built at the turn of the 9th and 10th centuries. It is the only surviving building of the Samanid era on the territory of the Bukhara oasis. As part of the "Historical Center of Bukhara", it was included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1993

I was impressed by the architecture and execution. The masonry is very unusual. I admire such craftsmen and similar structures. I recommend pleasing your eyes with this miracle.
Yes, and it's not hot inside, despite the location.
A very beautiful mausoleum of the IX-X century. Unusual, the whole decor is in brickwork, which is like lace, visible through and through. It is necessary to sit inside and calmly inspect, beautiful photos are unlikely to turn out inside. Outside there is a traditional square pond. Admission 15,000 per person
A masterpiece of Islamic architecture in Bukhara. IX century. The family tomb of the Samanid dynasty. Above the entrance there is a plaque with an epigraphic inscription: Nasr ibn Ahmad ibn Ismail. According to Ismail Samani, he built over his father's grave. The structure is built of burnt brick
The oldest building in Bukhara. Extraordinary stone carving. I definitely advise you to visit this place. Then you can take a walk through the shady Samonid Park, sit on a bench
The guide showed the place, you can't tell from the look of it that this is an ancient building, it doesn't make an impression after the palaces of Bukhara, but it belongs to iconic places
One of the most interesting places in Bukhara. It has been preserved almost in its original form, despite its antiquity. The usher gave us a free short tour

The mausoleum is amazingly beautiful. It was made of baked bricks, which the craftsmen laid in various ways: at an angle, on an edge. The result is amazing geometric patterns — mostly squares and circles. The mausoleum is interesting because it is the oldest surviving building in Bukhara, especially since it is unlike any other building.
A strong energy place. The structure is so ancient that it looks like any cult. According to our guide, the dimensions are exactly the same as the kaaba. Many techniques were used in the design, which later became canonical in the construction of religious buildings of many faiths.
The most beautiful park in the center of Bukhara! Everything you need for a family vacation and outdoor walks! Mega landscaping, a lake with boats and catamarans! The mausoleum itself is located in the very center of this park, attracts with its antiquity and exceptional architecture!
Incredible architecture. Dozens of different masonry bricks are used and connected in one building, which are woven into dozens of ornaments. Incredible geometric engineering structure
The park is in the process of reconstruction, as of April 2024, repairs are underway, the roads are dirty, the storm drain is working poorly, there are large puddles. They'll probably fix it all when the repairs are done.
The mausoleum is super!
It is definitely necessary to visit.
First of all, it's really sooo artfully carved.
Secondly, it is one of the few really old buildings that survived the arrival of Genghis Khan. They write that the building was built in 892-907.
The mausoleum itself is small, 11x11. There is no cladding and there was none, it was built of brick. But what was made of brick is a masterpiece.
For tourists, I recommend visiting this park to get acquainted with the founder of the 9th century Samanid Dynasty, Ismail Samani, there are also attractions nearby
This building made the biggest impression on me in all of Bukhara, although it is small in size and very modest in color design. A must-visit. I can't even believe that this "box" was created in the 9th century.
The mausoleum of the famous Samanid dynasty, which has been preserved since the 9th century, looks fascinating both from the outside and inside, there is a mausoleum inside the park on its own small square, which allows you to look from all sides from an average distance
Ltd... This is the place you definitely need to visit in the morning, then at lunch and at sunset. The color of the building is changing, and most importantly, the atmosphere inside. It is so architecturally and geometrically fantastic that you doubt the date of construction. A very sociable caretaker, with such love and pride, will tell you the whole story and show you little secrets.
A unique building of the 9th century, the brickwork reflects and refracts the sun's rays in different ways at different times of the day. It is built at the junction of religions, bears the features of both Zoroastrianism and Muslim. The founder of the Samanid Empire.
