We found it by rating on the maps, we did not expect it to be so friendly, tasty and atmospheric.

The place is small, inside a cozy street, easy to find.
There is a terrace and seats inside the restaurant.
You can pay in cash and by card (including SBP).
The places are comfortable, everything is clean and cozy.
The food is given away quickly. The choice of dishes is large.
It's delicious here, the price-quality ratio.
The owner, Massa, and his team are very friendly and cohesive, while the service is level and unobtrusive.
For me, it is always a good indicator if there are a lot of people in a restaurant in a tourist area. That's exactly how it is here. At the dinner hour, only 1 small table for two people was available. People in large companies stood in line to eat.
The staff is attentive to the children, supports the conversation and organized a national dance to the theme music.
We recommend it!)
Of the minuses: French fries require the attention of the cook) are a little damp. But this is not critical for us, it is better to eat meat in Istanbul)

We found massa near our hotel.
It 's very atmospheric , clean , and it 's so delicious ! We took 9 dishes, all the tastiest. The cocktail is high , the hookah is fragrant , smoky ! The dishes were brought within 15 minutes , the service is excellent!

We were looking for a place nearby based on reviews, and found this restaurant. I really liked this place! Delicious food, really large portions, first they brought us a starter with tortillas as a gift, then our dishes. We were very surprised by the huge portions. Then we were presented with as many as 3 simits with jam, pasta and nutella, we ordered them first, and in the end we were also presented with 3 servings of tea and 3 pieces of baklava, we were pleasantly shocked and generous by the owners of the establishment.
I can say that so far this is one of the best places in the area, the price is much more loyal than other places, and the portions are large, the food is fresh and delicious. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart!
Very comfortable sofas, there is a canopy from the sun.

Undisputed 5 stars.
The waiters are efficient, but not fussy. Friendly, but not intrusive. The kitchen is excellent, everything is done with both the mind and the heart. It is only advisable to correct the menu: delicious small cutlets of chopped meat in sauce cannot be translated either as "meatballs" or as "meatballs". This offends this dish. :))
A pleasant impression on a tourist intimidated by different guidebooks is provided by free compliments from the restaurant served before the main dishes (flatbread with different sauces) and after those (tea and sweets). The bill will only include what you ordered, and at the price you saw on the menu.
The bill will be served to you quickly, but so that you have time to relax after a delicious meal. It shows a respectful attitude towards the guest.
Prices, given the location of the restaurant, the quality of cuisine and service, small treats from the institution, are very humane.
In one phrase: "Thank you, everything was very tasty!" :))

Great place!
Somehow it so happened that we came in once a couple of years ago, and now the fans of this place)
The food is very tasty, the portions are huge, the staff and the host are great guys. The music is pleasant. I'm usually not a fan of sitting, but somehow I stay here for 2-3 hours.
What to add - I overeat every time, it's hard to walk. Now I'm thinking about kebab with eggplant - drooling...

If you are looking for good, delicious Turkish cuisine without dilution, you are here. No service fees, polite staff, delicious. The menu has everything, even alcohol and cocktails at an adequate price. There is also a hookah. Meze is brought to any order, at the end of the meal - baklava and tea. Delicious cuisine. The cheapest beer in Istanbul (120 lire for summer 24). For guests of the neighboring hotel, the Mass makes a discount. The staff is very friendly, the menu is in Russian. Wonderful staff! After visiting the hammam, a wonderful place to have a snack. Mom wanted a certain dish that she ate in Turkey many years ago, her wishes were listened to, and she managed to eat exactly what she wants. Convenient, fast, delicious. If it were possible to put 100 stars, I would put 1000. It's not just a restaurant with food. Massa bistro is a place with a special atmosphere, where every guest is treated as if they were waiting for you. You feel it from the very beginning, they just envelop you with attention and care, very friendly, very beautiful, every dish with a smile, endless compliments and gifts. We were there by accident. We walked down the street, where there are many identical cafes, but empty. We were in a bad mood, we didn't understand where it was better to sit and what the difference was, everyone praised their restaurant, everyone invited us, except Massa. He doesn't have to praise himself, he just listened very carefully to what we wanted and sat us down at the best table, even though we thought there were no seats. I think he just hypnotized us with his gaze. And then the celebration began. I do not know how they do it. But it was the best night. And the next one too. Massa (the owner of the restaurant) and his family make people happy. The feeling that you are loved and welcome at home. He meets and accompanies everyone personally, sincerely, kindly, tells stories about his family, as if you have known each other for 100 years. If people continue to rest after 12 o'clock, they will work until 2 o'clock and will never tell you "we are closing". Everything is delicious, beautiful, with love and care for people. They make a real feast of joy out of an ordinary dinner. They really love what they do, they love their guests. That's why I want to come back here again and again. This is the best place and I love it very much.

Лучшее место в районе где можно вкусно поесть и покурить кальян за приемлемую цену. Отдельное спасибо персоналу. Встречают и обслуживают как-будто вы пришли к друзьям. Красивая подача еды и приятные бонусы. В честь дня рождения нам сделали подарок в виде повторения заказанного алкоголя для каждого. А чтобы не сидеть с одним кальяном когда вся еда была уже съедена нас угостили чаем с пахлавой. Кальян в этом заведении стоит от 250 до 350 лир. Это ниже средней стоимости в подобных заведениях. В итоге за 1000-1500 лир можно на двоих вкусно поесть, покурить кальян, выпить коктейли или другие напитки и хорошо провести время в атмосферном заведении.

I want to thank all the wonderful staff of the Massa bistro restaurant, we spent 3 wonderful evenings with them, they just saved our trip. The weather was cold and rainy, but the heating is working on the terrace, you can enjoy the wonderful atmosphere, watch people passing by, listen to your favorite hits. The kitchen is amazing: butcher kutab, I will miss you. We had dinner only in this restaurant, drank beer and delicious homemade red wine. I am very sensitive to wine, I enjoyed it here. Guys, thank you so much for your friendliness and for the yummy compliments. You are the best! I will definitely come to you again and even stay in the hotel above you! I recommend it! ❤️
