There is a chain coffee shop combined with a bookstore within walking distance from the Akademicheskaya metro station. This is a spacious establishment consisting of two halls.
The first hall is decorated in a modern design and bright colors. The second room is more secluded, surrounded by bookshelves and decorated in restrained classical shades.
The coffee shop is popular with locals and tourists alike.
Here you can enjoy breakfast (from 9 a.m.), main menu dishes, desserts, classic and signature drinks.
The order is placed at the bar. After clarifying your location, the staff will bring you drinks and meals themselves. The service time was prompt, despite the full landing.
This place with an interesting concept is definitely worth a visit. Although the range of books could be wider, the coffee shop deserves attention.
Among the disadvantages are parking difficulties.

It was with great pleasure that we came here with our beloved friend for a coworking session. First of all, I would like to mention the insanely beautiful interior! It's very beautiful here. The desserts are amazing. We took raspberry cheesecake and bounty, both dishes are insanely delicious, fresh and beautiful. I also want to mention the staff of the institution. We made a slight mistake in the name of the dessert, so we brought another one, but the staff responded very friendly to the request to change the dessert, for which many thanks and feedback from the bottom of my heart =)

I like this atmospheric place. but! It's not comfortable at all that the tables are so close together, one by one. You can hear strangers better than you can hear your interlocutor across the street. Another strange thing I observe every time I visit: a woman, clearly an employee or director of this place, sits at the end of a large table. And thus occupies about 5 places. Then, obviously, no one will sit next to her. And he sits in some papers all the time. It looks really weird.
I also don't like that you can't eat in the reading room.

I went into the new Marx and noticed that many visitors tried to stay longer, enjoying the moment.
The service is good: the staff is always ready to help with the selection and offer something new from the menu. I even thought about coming here not only for coffee, but also for work — the place is clearly conducive to productivity.
On my next visit, I plan to try their desserts — according to the staff, they are no less delicious than the main menu. In general, I recommend everyone to visit this coffee shop, especially those who appreciate cozy places and high-quality coffee.

The coffee is delicious, and so are the cheesecakes. We prepared everything quickly, despite the almost complete landing.
But, I give 4 stars, because (during my visit) there were a lot of guys with laptops and it was difficult to find a place to eat. I do not know what the cafe's policy is, but I would like the priority to be given to people who first came for food/ coffee/desserts and the staff asked to move to a common table.

We got a place at the entrance near the window, it was very, very cold, which made us want to finish our coffee faster and get into a warm car. The staff is great, the guy fixed the table, as he was wobbling (although he didn't stop wobbling), but plus for the care 😁
They cleaned everything quickly and didn't have to wait. The atmosphere is much more pleasant and warmer in the second room (smaller, in dark colors).

We took a seat in the hall with books, ordered food, dessert, and coffee, after which we were told that food was not allowed in this hall. The problem is that there are more or less human seats in this room, and there aren't many of them at all. the rest of the places are like at McDonald's: there is no distance between the tables at all and the tables themselves are small, the food barely fits. I'm already silent about the two tables near the toilet. A group of girls were celebrating a birthday at a large table, they made a lot of noise and took the menu for themselves, as if they were the only ones who needed it

You have to sit at one table or another, just to be allowed to eat for the food you paid for.👎
The tables are small, even for two, and the one next to you is on your lap, and you're sitting worse than this in the dining room with a lot of noise and strangers.
The staff are generally some kind of children, they behave like in a circus, they have fun doing nothing, but going to clean up the dirty dishes from the guests is nooo, let them eat and look at it, or clean up themselves.
What will the waiter do then?
I don't see the point in wasting my time on such an institution and I won't!

It's a disgusting place, from the service to the tables. The place itself has a nice interior, but a canteen atmosphere. There is not even a meter and a half between the tables, it turns out that you are sitting, and either you are silent and listening to what people are saying next to you, because it happens almost under your ear, or you are talking but trying to shout over everyone around you. In one of the zones, for some reason, it is impossible to eat, while the sign that says this is so small that it can only be seen by accident. We placed an order with food, and only after payment were we informed that where we sat down, it was impossible with food, and the order had already been paid, interestingly it turns out, we have to sit and wait until other tables where we can eat are available, but they are so-so. Apart from the interior, there are no advantages, a lame cafe aimed at making money, and not giving any comfort for the money!

I visited the Marks coffee shop and was very pleased! The staff is polite and friendly, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. The interior is stylish, with an intimate area in the bookstore, the music is unobtrusive, which creates ideal conditions for relaxation. The coffee was excellent and the dessert selection was impressive. Wonderful books of various genres that can be purchased as a gift or read with a cup of coffee. The coffee here is just great! I ordered a latte, and it was cooked to perfection — rich taste, perfect texture of milk foam. I was also pleased with the wide selection of food and desserts.
Top-level service: the baristas are friendly and ready to help with the selection. I felt at home here.

It is understandable, convenient location within walking distance from the metro station Academy of Sciences, beautiful interior in bright colors, huge panoramic Windows, Wi-fi, a large selection of coffee.
