The hotel is new and fresh, very beautiful, with a wonderful view, delicious, albeit monotonous breakfasts. The furniture is made of real wood, the decor is thoughtful everywhere. Clean pool
But there are nuances:
1) It is located on a mountain, it is difficult to get there, taxis are very expensive, because drivers inflate prices (and resent in Thai. when they understand where to go)))
2) Poor sound insulation - you can even hear how someone went to the toilet in a small way on the top floor, or how the neighbors cough)
3) Very mediocre cleaning. Dust and dirt lie in their places,
we even had cockroaches running around, the most ordinary red-haired "stasiki".
You definitely should not go to this hotel if you have children, and of any age.
If you are a young couple, then you will like it
IT'S AMAZING! THE REALITY HAS EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS MANY TIMES!
We were in Asia for the first time, in Thailand for the first time. After traveling in Europe, it was difficult to expect high-level service from Asian countries. Even the Arabs in Dubai were disappointed, let alone the Asians, we thought. But Phuket and the hotel were 100% surprised! We rested with my husband for 16 nights in April 2023. We booked a room on the Island for 76,000 rubles with breakfast. Strangely, the rooms cost much more at the Booking. We rented a car for the entire duration of our vacation, the proximity of the beach is not important to us, we chose a specific hotel far from civilization, in a quiet place and with Parking. The hotel turned out to be even more beautiful live, just like Instagram pictures. Everything is brand new, stylish, well-groomed. We arrived early in the morning, unexpectedly received a room with a sea view, awesome, like a suite. Really quiet, there were no neighbors to be heard. We were waiting for check-in, swimming in a gorgeous pool. The staff is extremely helpful and helpful.
The room has everything you need and even more: a free spacious safe, a kettle, cups and saucers, spoons, glass glasses, tea, coffee, a hair dryer, a refrigerator with a mini-bar, bathrobes, slippers, disposable shaving machines, toothpaste and brushes, cotton pads and sticks, shower caps, nail files, shower gel, shampoo. A pleasant surprise turned out to be shower slates, a beach bag and a large woven beach mat, all in the same style, solidly, beautifully. There are 2 umbrellas in case of rain. Beach towels are brought daily during cleaning. There are hangers in the closet, but no shelves for clothes. The cleaning was pleasant, conscientiously, even the balcony was washed. We did not skimp on tips, there is something to thank you for. The bed linen was changed often, towels were changed daily, they did not forget to put anything. A very comfortable huge bed. The laundry was dried on the balcony on hangers, there are no ropes, there are a couple of hooks. The air conditioner is silent and works perfectly (for us this is the most important thing in a hot country). Life hack: if you want a quiet room without a door leading to the neighbors, then ask for rooms located on the edges of buildings so that there is only a wall on one side. The view from the balcony to Patong cannot be described in words!
The restaurant is beautiful, as well as the whole hotel. Everything is fresh, delicious and not too spicy, as we expected. Apparently they are guided by European preferences. There are always a lot of fruits (watermelons, melons, dragon's eye, papaya, mango, kiwi and several exotic species, I do not know the name). A coffee machine, freshly squeezed juices, original local pastries, we tried something unknown every morning, not everything was to our taste, but it was very curious. Breakfast is even more like lunch, a non-standard wide range. After the first breakfast, we realized that we had found the dream hotel, there is nothing to complain about.
A separate song is the pool, also a species, clean with turquoise water. It's not crowded, like the whole hotel. You swim, you listen to the birds singing in the trees around. The hotel has rooms on the 1st floor with access to the pool, we believe that it is uncomfortable to live in such rooms, because people frolic in the pool, talk, look into the windows a meter from the balcony. It is better to stay on the top floor overlooking the sea, quiet and pleasing to the eye.
You won't find families with children here, far from the beach and the rest of the infrastructure. The vast majority of the guests are Chinese, but not those who come in companies of 15 people, screaming and littering, but young intelligent couples. There were very few Russians, and the young people were also mostly pleasant to communicate with. If you do not have a car or do not want to spend money on taxis and tuk-tuks, then the hotel will not suit you. All the beaches are far away. The hotel is located on a mountain, walking up 300-400 meters is also not an option, it's hard. This is a disadvantage for many, but not for us, we always rent a car. The Chinese are on bikes. We visited different beaches every day, toured the whole island, and saw many sights. I was impressed by everything! From the tropical nature and temples to the radiant locals, everyone is smiling and waving at you. The nearest beach is Patong, 8 km away, it takes 15 minutes to drive, but we visited it only once, dirty brown water, crowded, water sports flood the recreation areas, noisy and uncomfortable, not too green. We liked Karon (10 km south of the hotel), Kata Noi (16 km south) and Surin (10 km north). We had lunch and dinner in cafes in different parts of the island, where we were at that moment, and sometimes we bought ready-made heated food at Seven Eleven, 400 meters away and you can buy everything you need there. Dinner at the hotel is on the menu, not cheap.
There is no entertainment at the hotel at all, so it is not recommended for party-goers. There is a tiny gym. There is only mental and bodily relaxation.
When searching for a hotel, we always came across the fact that the surrounding area does not look very presentable, there are wires all around (not the best feature of Thailand), some incomprehensible buildings. And here the hotel is surrounded by respectable villas, everything is in bloom, a riot of plants and there is nothing annoying to the eye.
I have never written such a review filled with exclusively positive emotions. If we fly to Phuket again, then we will definitely go to the Marina. Perhaps the best service for all our travels, and we travel several times a year, the experience is decent.
