The cafe of my childhood. It seems to me that everyone who was born in Uralsk knows him. I live in another city now, but I've been wanting to get there for a long time. They were closed for repairs last year. And this summer we managed to visit this institution. Well, what can I say... Despite the new renovation, the Soviet Union is still blowing) The setting is far from modern bistros and coffee shops. But that's not the point. Firstly, nowadays there is a lunch break in an institution that was created so that a person passing by could just go in there to have a snack, at least strangely. And then oops and closed (The service is also in the style of Soviet sellers. Secondly, the toilet was not working at that time, there was also no soap to wash your hands. Thirdly, they wanted to take a cocktail with them (there is a takeaway on the menu and it is twice as expensive as the standard one), there was no suitable container. I can't say anything bad about the menu. The cocktail is ordinary, not bad, well, not just super, the potato cakes and the basket are quite tasty. That's all the advantages. Well, in the end, will I visit this institution? My answer is NO!
I went there all my childhood, then decided to go there again after the repair, in the end everything is just as delicious but except for the cocktail, it is very difficult to drink thick and not very tasty, but otherwise everything is fine👍
A new version of the legendary cafe, respectively, and new equipment, and maybe a recipe with raw materials, which greatly influenced the most famous milkshake in the city and.. unfortunately, not for the better, but so a good place for a delicious snack.
Marina the famous Marina after the renovation is still not the same .It was repaired once .I was not impressed .I think I should have left my old look, it was a memory from those years
The spirit of the old cafe has disappeared. A rare device born in 1981 for making cocktails was destroyed. Why not approach creatively, design a cafe in the Soviet style, train accessories, invite a smart designer. No, you just have to cut the profit. Prices are higher than Jomolungma. Unfriendly ladies at the order counter. A guard, it is unclear why he is needed. He probably performs the function of a doorman at the entrance. Visiting is strictly not recommended.
Our childhood, I remember all the time how we come there with our daughter. Of course, after the renovation, it has changed, it has become spacious and modern
My review should have been written 30 years ago. That was the last time I was in this cafe. I've remembered milkshakes for the rest of my life. Despite the fact that I am from a more or less large city and have visited a variety of countries, no one has been able to do better in 30 years. It's cool, it's a good memory that has passed through time.
For the first time (and hopefully for the last time!) I had a chance to drink cappuccino without foam. My husband assured me that she was, but she settled down. That is, in thirty seconds, while he brought the coffee to the table, the foam settled (( Strange, however, foam. In general, I did not enjoy it. The cocktail also turned out to be so-so. The hall is stuffy. And finally - a closed toilet! It seems like it exists, but it doesn't do any good.
The bottom. Only the memory remains. A place for oldfags. It's stuffy in the summer, the staff look like they're doing you a favor. There has never been a toilet there, and now it can be said no, since it supposedly does not work. Fortunately, at least you can wash your hands. Close for lunch for an hour.. Are you serious?? There is also a guard at the exit and says "we have self-service." Yes, for God's sake, serve yourself, but cleaning up after yourself should be only on the initiative of the client, but not an obligation!
Yesterday we went to the cafe for the first time after the renovation. Repair is average, maintenance is average. The food is terrible, especially manta rays .the cocktail is normal, what surprised me the most was the paid cocktail tubes.
